1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / $25,000 to put into altcoins... on: April 12, 2024, 02:27:13 AM
I've been in the game since 2015, hold all the major cryptos, like BTC, ETH, SOL, BNB, ADA, you name it...

I'm looking to put a small percentage of my portfolio into some interesting low cap projects, and I'm wondering if I'm missing out on some true gems, which is why I decided to post here.

Currently, researching and accumulating:

HDN - Hydranet (Layer 3 DEX, with BTC integrated web-wallet). Basically solves all the major problems with scalability, bridging, trading, privacy, and KYC. This one looks like an easy 100x long term.

XEP - Electra Protocol -  Extremely fast, and cheap transactions - L1 project, huge focus on merchant services. Their OmniXEP makes NFT's easy to send, recieve, mint, and burn. (coming in 18  days).

SPCT - Spectra Chain is BTC layer 2 blockchain. Basically aiming to make Bitcoin scalable. Recently launched, see big potential.

That's just a few interesting ones, I see some major upside in based on tech, community and utility.

Please post yours, I'd love to diversify into a few more!

Exciting to see how much volume you guys are going to pull through the DEX, once its ready as a web-based version.  Grin
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: $26,000 to invest, any suggestions? on: March 12, 2024, 05:44:44 AM

Hydranet (HDN) First Layer 3 DEX, which offers instant, virtually feeless trading between BTC, ETH, USDT, and many more. Their DEX is live, and working, as can be seen here, comparing Thorchain And Hydranet: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8SJsAUx-hJA&t=11s - Fees collected from the DEX will be paid in ETH to token holders.

If Hydranet dethrones Thorchain, we're looking at a 180x from here, which is pretty damn good.

from the start, i'm already invested in this. That info is wrong, there is no payment to token holders. The advantages of holding the token is % fees reduction for using the dex and beeing able to participate in the network as a guardian/titan (DYOR if you want to know what these functions are). There is no staking or free stuff from holding the token. One of the best advantages over Thorchain (from my point of view) is that transactions are done trustless, not with the usual third party actor. The product is already out, unfortunately as a downloadable app (which is frowned upon in the crypto world) so that's why because of their own inhouse developed tech, a webdex is on the works.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the insight! Smiley Very helpful explanation!
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: $26,000 to invest, any suggestions? on: March 08, 2024, 04:26:03 AM
If you can be able to make Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana and LINK among the coins you are going to invest the $26,000, I promise you that you will not regret for such decision OP because all those coins are doing great in the market base on the team behind their progress. Never you think of making new projects your choice in this season, because all those new projects make some investors to fail easily in the future because it hard for the project to move faster like the way old projects are moving faster to allow their investors to smile with their income. If you can add BNB to your list, I think you will experience something that will make you to make BNB your choice again because investors are making income from BNB investment anytime bullish season appear.

My main holdings are BTC, ETH, SOL, and LINK, I want to invest another $26k in mid/low cap projects which can make life changing profits.

BNB has been part of my portfolio in the past, but I don't believe it will perform just as good this coming bullrun, compared to other options, which are plenty.

Thanks for your feedback though.

I'm really looking for projects with utility, projects which aim to change crypto for the better. Projects which will be around for years to come, again, I'm a long term investor.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / $26,000 to invest, any suggestions? on: March 08, 2024, 03:42:11 AM
Hey there!

I have around $26k in stable coins, and currently own:

30% BTC
20% ETH
20% SOL
20% LINK

I'm considering some low cap projects, but try to stear away from complete meme/gamble projects, only driven by hype. Doge, Pepe, etc....

Which projects should I look into? Currently on my radar are:

Hydranet (HDN) First Layer 3 DEX, which offers instant, virtually feeless trading between BTC, ETH, USDT, and many more. Their DEX is live, and working, as can be seen here, comparing Thorchain And Hydranet: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8SJsAUx-hJA&t=11s - Fees collected from the DEX will be paid in ETH to token holders.

If Hydranet dethrones Thorchain, we're looking at a 180x from here, which is pretty damn good.

Connext Network (Connext)
Connext offers layer-two scaling solutions. Connext addresses the scalability challenges faced by blockchain networks, resulting in faster and more cost-effective transactions.
This one is interesting, but high risk due to its very low marketcap.

These are just a few examples on my list - I'm looking for projects with actual utility, as I invest for the long term.

What is on you guys radar? I'm not interested in dog/cat meme coins, or anything like that. I don't plan to straight up gamble my money, like in a casino.  Cheesy

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Hydranet (HDN) - World’s First Layer 3 DEX - Connecting BTC to ETH on: October 19, 2023, 01:21:00 AM
Why do we need another Dex? There are already 8,000 of them that no one uses...

This DEX doesn't compare with any other.

Most DEX's run on the Ethereum chain, and are limited to ETH tokens, ONLY. This means, you can't trade BTC, LTC, XRP, XMR, and many other coins, which run on their own native blockchain.

To combat this issue, they made "wrapped" versions of these, but you'd need to TRUST that the "peg" between wBTC, and BTC stays the same.

Furthermore, when the Ethereum chain becomes congested, (seen in the previous bullruns), the network cannot handle the volume, which sends the gas fees, through the roof.

Hydranets DEX, is trustless, trading between blockchains are near instant (BTC <=> ETH), and the fees are virtually pennies, on the dollar.

Uniswap is running through liquidity pools, they don't offer real BTC, transactions aren't instant, (so you can't run arbitrage bots properly), and the list goes on and on.

Off-chain trading is the key component here. Try and do 50 trades on Uniswap, and tell me what kind of fees you'll pay, then compare those fees with Hydranets solution, you'll find, that you'll save A LOT of money.

This is a DEX, that gets you the feeling of trading on a CEX. It's superior to ANY DEX's out there.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [HDN] Hydranet - The Worlds First Layer 3 DEX. Trade with next to ZERO fees! on: August 11, 2023, 03:20:05 AM
When does the mainnet version of this DEX roll out? It seems interesting.  Tongue

Is the max supply capped, or do the devs have any plans to change it later?

The supply is capped at 300 mio. Fees on the DEX will be used to buy-back HDN, and burn them off the total supply. So depending on volume, the supply will be deflationary.

The DEX is ready when it's ready, it has been stated many times on their Discord, that they dont want to release anything that doesn't work like 99,9% of the time. Should be ready by Q3 at the latest I believe.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [HDN] Hydranet - The Worlds First Layer 3 DEX. Trade with next to ZERO fees! on: August 02, 2023, 05:38:41 AM
From the look out of things are you partially connected with the project owner or you are making this post as a paid individual?
How come I never had of this project before or maybe I can say since I am not active on twitter I wouldn't get the information and sometimes whenever a new project is being mentioned got surprised. But I what understand most times is that I pay less attention to altcoin since I had this mindset that altcoin are there to cause confusion as a bitcoin hold you wouldn't know when you could convert your bitcoin to buy altcoin that are not trusted.

Been an investor in the project since it started pretty much, and its safe to say that I'm ALMOST all in on this one, which I DO NOT recommend anyone out there to do.

This project solves ALL the problems I see with crypto right now, which is why I'm SO confident that it will be a HUGE performer long term.

1) It puts and end to outrageous trading fees, compared with other DEX's, since they use 2nd layer channels.

2) Easy to use, convienient. Anyone who used the Exodus desktop wallet back in 2017, remembers how EASY and convenient it was to exchange assets on the fly, without KYC.
Hydranet built a feature called "Simple Swap", which is pretty much the same.

3) The marketcap is ridiculously LOW. There are projects in the top 50, with a marketcap in the billions with NO product, and here you have a project with one of the most ground breaking products in the crypto spare, with a marketcap around 20 million.

The upside here is, insane, which is why I wanted to share as much info as possible, so anyone reading this can do their own research, and ask questions etc.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / [HDN] Hydranet - The Worlds First Layer 3 DEX. Trade with next to ZERO fees! on: July 25, 2023, 02:05:04 AM
Hydranet is for some absurd reason going completely under the radar for most people, and I honestly don't understand how a project as this one is valuated anything LESS than 200-300 mio marketcap, without exaggerating  Huh

They've built their own multi currency light wallet, supporting: ETH, BTC, LTC, USDC, USDT, HDN and more will follow.

Within this wallet, you can send/recieve/trade your assets without compromising on your custody of these. This project makes use of The Lightning Network, and Connext (similar to Lightning, but built for Ethereum), meaning you can trade for PENNIES, pretty much instantly.  Wink

This means, you can trade native BTC for ETH, without bridging between chains, or by using wrapped assets, such as wBTC.

For anyone who has ever traded on Uniswap, especially during the bullruns, fees can run up to CRAZY amounts, which sucks!

This beast of a DEX is going public this quarter, which is why it has been one of the most appreciating assets over the past week.

Hydranet is built on Arbitrum. The token itself is not needed to use the DEX, but holders are getting up to 25% fee reduction while trading, which is pretty awesome if you're running bots with huge volume.
The DEX itself will also use the trading fees for buy-backs, similar to how Binance does it. Only difference is, fees collected are used to buy HDN, which is then burned from the total supply.

Website: https://hydranet.ai/
Coinmarketcap: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/hydranet/

This one is a hidden gem, the potential here is massive, considering it's insanely low marketcap still. If it gets a marketcap similar to Uniswap eventually, you're looking at $26/token, and that's in a bear market Wink

The only down side for this project is, that the DEX itself isn't web-based. There's no such thing as web-based Lightning nodes (yet), but who knows, the possibilities are endless.

If you remember the Exodus wallet back in time, where you could swap your coins whenever you felt like it, without KYC - This works practically the same way, using the "Simple Swap" feature, which is for newbies, who don't want to use the actual DEX.

11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / DIVI Speculation/Discussion Thread on: February 18, 2021, 04:52:01 PM
I'm not gonna lie, I have a huge passion for masternode projects, ever since I ran my first DASH node back in 2015 when it was affordable to buy in. Sold it in early 2017 (big mistake), but went into BTC and ETH, so did okay.

Ever since then I've accumulated 28 nodes. Setting up nodes isn't for beginners, required you to setup and maintain your own server, lock your collateral, install linux etc.

I found out about DIVI early last year, and was mind blown at how easy it was to setup their nodes.
1 click setup and you're up and running.

Their aim is to make crypto easy for everyone, here's a few key points to take note off:

• 5 tiered selection of masternodes, copper, silver, gold, platinum, diamond
• Bank and PayPal integration planned to eliminate the need of traditional exchanges to get started
• Multi currency wallet where you can swap assets as you want
• Human readable crypto addresses (usernames)

It's currently trading around $0.04, and could realistically touch $1 during this bull run if everything goes as planned.

Thoughts?
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Best masternodes out there? - Passive Income on: February 17, 2021, 03:18:34 PM
Which masternodes do you guys run, and why?

Masternodes is known to be "money printers", hence looked at like scams very often - BUT if you dig down and find projects with actual development on top of these nodes you can find some pretty promising ones.

DASH was the first project out there to introduce masternodes. 1000 DASH is required which makes it a VERY big investment to get involved with right now. Dash has been in development since 2014 and is a good hold in any portfolio.

Blocknet founded in 2014 as well but lacked behind Dash majorly, which makes it a low cap project. They've been under development since then but need to catch up. You can profit off of the trading fees if you run a node on their network.

DIVI changed the game and made masternodes easy for anyone to deploy. 1-click from your wallet is all it requires, which makes it a breeze to set up compared to the 2 projects above. They introduced multi-tiered masternodes ranging from Copper - Silver, Gold - Platinum - Diamond. Each of these nodes requires different collateral to setup.
Divi focuses on making crypto easy with human-readable crypto addresses, Paypal and bank integration inside their wallet, and much more.

There's plenty of awesome projects out there. Please list which masternodes you fancy the most and why.  Smiley
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / [DIVI] Price Speculation Thread on: February 10, 2021, 06:11:17 PM
I'm a big fan of DIVI, and haven't seen much talk about the project here, which blows my mind actually.

DIVI is currently traded at $0.037 or 84 sat, which makes it extremely cheap. Now, everyone knows it's all about market cap size, and not the price of the coin itself. The market cap of DIVI is currently: $80 million, which a decent sized mid-cap project ranked at #192 @ Coinmarketcap.

DIVI is quite an interesting project with a very active community. Their main focus is to simplify crypto usage, making it possible to send money straight from your bank account and into the DIVI wallet itself, without relying on Exchanges.
This is very convenient as it removes many of the steps it requires to buy and invest in crypto as a total newbie. Paypal integration is also coming.

DIVI has a multi-tiered masternode setup, which grants you bonuses according to which node you decide to invest it. A very cool thing is that they implemented a weekly lottery on the blockchain among stakers, who has a chance to win some extra DIVI each month.

Overall, their roadmap looks extremely promising. If you're looking for a good masternode project, DIVI is definitely a good pick!

As for how high the price could go, $1 is my long term prediction, so plenty of upside potential.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Which projects do you guys hold, and why? on: February 08, 2021, 05:58:12 PM
Thought it would be nice to know which projects you guys believe in, and why?

My current portfolio looks like this:

1) BTC
2) ETH
3) LINK
4) XMR
5) ADA
6) DIVI

The first 5 projects have done extremely well - I picked DIVI as a low cap project since I believe in their vision "Crypto Made Easy".
The Divi team is dedicated to making cryptocurrency easy to use and providing residual income. Their masternode system is set up with one click setup and instantly begins to provide a passive income in their native token. Most of all they are creating a cryptocurrency wallet that will be as easy and simple to use as Venmo, with Paypal and IBAN integration straight into the wallet, it makes it extremely easy for the average Joe to move money from his bank account to his wallet, without moving everything onto an exchange like Binance or Coinbase first.

I'm looking to diversify into other projects as well, what do you guys recommend?  Smiley
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Stakenet - Next short term 10x - Here's why. on: January 12, 2021, 04:02:06 PM
I'm not sure whether all you stakenet shill(s) realise but when there's multiple newbie posts across close on a dozen threads shilling stakenet it's more likely to deter investors rather than attract them.

Going back a few years a couple of bagholders could attract new investors by posting on multiple threads but people are more cautious nowadays, you're doing more harm than good in attracting attention to the project regardless of its potential.

Sure man... The project just pumped 35% today. Call us shills all you want, but if you actually listened, you'd be WAY in the green right now. When this thread was made XSN was evaluated at $0.05. It's at $0.43 now, and soon it will do another 10x on top of that.  Grin
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Stakenet (XSN) Will Be Listed On Bitfinex 19th Of January! Next 10x Project on: January 12, 2021, 03:52:15 PM
Has anyone here noticed Stakenet as of yet?
It was just announced today that the project will be listed on Bitfinex as of the 19th of January.

It pumped massively in price today due to these news.
They've made the ONLY DEX in the world with instant exchange settlements between BTC / ETH / LTC / XSN. More trading pairs coming soon.
They make use of masternodes to act as Lightning Network and Connext service hubs.
Masternodes turn a profit on trading fees and other services such as cold staking contracts (coming soon), which is basically smart contracts.

The video below is a promo video of their "Simple Swap" which makes it possible to swap assets instantly with next to 0 fees. The video shows BTC converted to USDT.
Uniswap likely won't stand a chance against this DEX. This project will likely surge into the 100 projects soon, so a 3-5x in market cap is likely happening over the next week or 2.

Promo video: https://streamable.com/codw1m

$5 valuation per coin is likely what we'll see very soon, due to these major utilities they bring to the crypto markets.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / First DEX with instant 2nd layer exchange settlements between BTC ETH USDT on: January 09, 2021, 04:06:58 PM
Hey there!

Hope you're all enjoying the weekend and all the gains we've had recently. I couldn't stop noticing all the drama between projects discussed here (NANO, BTC etc). due to the fees as of lately. Paying a $60 fee to trade $200 worth of a token on Uniswap is ridiculous.

This made me search for scaling solutions and projects trying to deal with it, as I can't see a future with anyone blatantly accepting these high fees, even when BTC is being talked about as "digital gold".

This video caught my attention: https://streamable.com/codw1m - It's a promo video from Stakenet's single swap service which is available in their custom multi-currency wallet with their DEX integrated into it as well.

They make use of the Lightning Network + The Connext network to make off-chain trading possible with a few clicks.
Anyone who's dealt with the Lightning Network otherwise has probably seen all the steps needed to even use it, which isn't user friendly at all.

This whole setup will soon be managed and controlled by more than 2700 masternodes, who will serve as Lightning and Connext hubs, and prevent bad actors from entering the network.

Decentralized exchanges need to be instantly tradeable, otherwise, nobody bothers to even use them, since convenience is the single most important aspect of people's daily lives.

This is an interesting project, which I predict will enter the top 100 in terms of market caps soon, new top 5 exchange listing on it's, which has frankly been one of the things that have stopped this project from being taken seriously.

I'd love to know what you guys think?
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Stakenet (XSN) The KING of DEFI - Scaling solution for BTC and ETH on: January 09, 2021, 04:04:52 PM
i don't really understand if xsn will be the king of defi, may i know the reason mate ?
because for me the king of defi is chainlink my friend
you can check here https://coinmarketcap.com/defi

Chainlink and Stakenet cannot be compared in any way, lol.

Completely different projects, with completely different roadmaps.

Stakenet has WAAY more upside potential than Chainlink has right now, due to the fact that XSN is sitting on a VERY low marketcap.
Check this promo video which shows an instant decentralized swap between BTC and USDT: https://streamable.com/codw1m
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / [XMR] Monero - Price Speculation. $1,000 doable long term? on: December 30, 2020, 01:10:12 PM
Hey guys.

With the recent news of Ripple getting delisted from all major exchanges, XLM could likely be the next one being targetted?

Recently DEX's has exploded in volume, because they don't enforce KYC or any restrictions whatsoever. Seems like more and more people care about privacy at this point.
This very fact made me wonder what the future price of XMR could likely be - Knowing that they are working on atomic swaps, which will make it possible to trade XMR on DEX's! Grin

Monero can't be controlled by anyone, nobody can see how much you hold. Complete privacy is pretty cool, which made the IRS set a bounty of $625,000 for anyone who break its encryption.
Source: https://cointelegraph.com/news/the-irs-offers-a-625-000-bounty-to-anyone-who-can-break-monero-and-lightning

Put two and two together and it isn't unlikely we'll see XMR trading above $1,000, what do you think?
20  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Best DEX for trading? on: December 11, 2020, 06:21:34 AM
The best DEX exchange which I prefer ahead of others is IDEX.
IDEX is a non-custodial exchange that integrates with any custody answer and permits customers to exchange with each other with out giving up manage to a third party custodian. IDEX is particular as compared to different DEXs in that it employs a hybrid model, wherein the bulk of the change is operated with the aid of using IDEX, and the blockchain is simplest applied for custody and settlement. This permits them to remedy a number of the UX problems that exist in extra decentralized models, consisting of such things as front-strolling and on-chain order collisions. And no VPN use for trading.

A "hybrid" isn't decentralized, get your facts straight, lol.

Uniswap is without a doubt the most used DEX out there, unfortunately it has it's limitations, which thankfully Blocknet is trying to solve on their own DEX.

Here's a great read explaining the key differences between the two: https://cointelegraph.com/news/decentralized-exchange-vows-to-remove-defis-limitations
