181  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin hit 15K in 2020? on: January 08, 2020, 06:36:15 AM
Bitcoin will do well, but so will altcoins. Once the market gets media attention again, I predict everyone will get in to "get another chance" at making some money.

What's more important these days is decentralization. The past 6 months, we've seen TONS of centralized exchanges doing either shady things, (Enforcing KYC, freezing/banning accounts), and let's not forget the exchange hacks!

Decentralized Exchanges (DEX's) will surely take off in the future, allowing people to trade peer 2 peer with no middleman inbetween.

Blocknet recently caught my attention, looks damn promising: https://blockdx.com/

This is just one of the many altcoins, that will surely go through a nice run.
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Blocknet Speculation Thread on: January 08, 2020, 06:30:29 AM
i dont like blocknet project so much.. to little liquidity and support from community
coins like this can pump from nowhere
but there are many coins like this .. for example DRGN
so its kind of gambling when you invest in it
kind of like throwing darts

What are you smoking dude?

Blocknet is the first movers on DEX development, it's by far the most decentralized DEX on the market, (4th gen DEX). More over, their Xrouter is actually the most exciting tech they are building right now, providing decentralized oracles. This is a solid project, down in price obviously because of the bear market.

I'm buying another node soon, before it get's too expensive, as I predict DEX's to become extremely popular means of trading solutions in the future, and I sure want to profit off of that!  Grin
183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: New Ethereum DEX with unique features. Is it useful? on: December 18, 2019, 07:40:27 PM
So it basically means the only trading pair is ETH?

I've never been a fan of ERC20 tokens, since the majority of these token projects is pure vaporware money grabs - I do wish you the best of luck with your project though  Grin - Guess you're gonna compete with McAfee's Ethereum DEX as well.

My favorite DEX out there is Blocknet's DX. - https://blockdx.com/

It's no surprise that all these DEX's lacks liquidity, but it's not something that worries me, since we're still in a bear market, with the majority of people holding, and not trading. (Myself included).

Cool thing about this DEX, is that you can buy a node on your own, and collect trading fees in the future, I'm sure you can make a LOT of money if DEX's takes off.  Wink
184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Alt projects to take off in 2020 on: December 18, 2019, 07:32:29 PM
Blocknet is promising - been running since 2014.

I believe this one could pull a 100x easily long term, since they was the first to make a real DEX, and what most people don't realize is, it's the only real DEX on the market to this date. All the other "DEX's" you see competing, isn't truly decentralized, sadly.

Check it out here: https://blockdx.com/

Blocknet also solves the oracle problem, which means they can connect blockchain data, and real world data together. You can see the results for yourself if you join their Discord server. You can pull a ton of info from their Xrouter, which are hosted by service nodes, making it completely decentralized.

As always, do your own research Smiley
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which will be the most valuable altcoin? on: December 17, 2019, 07:59:16 PM
Altcoins are not valuable at all. I am not sure whether you guys seeing the price value from the past five days. Simply to say market is completely collapsed and I don't when the value will be recovered.
As a investor it is right time to invest and make money on alts and BTC

This could be a post from 2014, LOL. Alt's are not valuable? Sure... There are TONS of people who made 100x, let alone 1000x on their investments already, so it simply isn't true at all. Alts is still undervalued, and your posts is a clear indication of capitulation, which tells me it's about time to buy in  Grin

Most valuable altcoin is impossible to predict. There are tons of projects out there, but a good one with a LOT of upside potential still is Blocknet.

Not only does this project run the only REAL DEX on the market as of today, they also work on the Oracle problem. (Read up on their Xrouter tech here: https://blocknet.co/introducing-xrouter-developers-can-now-mix-and-match-any-blockchain-via-the-worlds-first-blockchain-router/)

Their DEX is pretty slick, and works great, and at the start of next year, they will release a lite wallet, which can connect with the DEX, without using full nodes, making the proccess of trading way way faster, while still remaining completely decentralized.

Check their DEX out here: blockdx.com/
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will centralization keep its dominance on the crypto industry forever? on: December 17, 2019, 07:52:36 PM
Of course not. It's really no coincidence that we see THIS many new "DEX's" popping up every week. It's in high demand, and the amount of posts here with "decentralization" in either the topic title, or the thread itself is increasing, from what I can tell.

The only true DEX on the market right now is, Blocknet. There's a lot of fake DEX's out there, who isn't truly decentralized like: Binance, Waves, IDEX, Bisq, and I can name plenty more.  Cheesy

It's true that a few big players seem to control the market today, but I'm sure that we'll eventually see DEX's looking exactly like CEX's, making it easy and convenient for everyone to trade.

Blocknet is pretty awesome, since you can run your own node, and profit off of the DEX fee's involved, which could provide a substantial income over time, as these DEX's gets used more and more.
I'm sure more projects will come alive, offering similar solutions eventually.
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2020 Bull Run Speculation. Which Coins Will Go Through The Roof? on: December 12, 2019, 07:15:08 PM
If bull run happen in this year of 2020 we all know of which coin will be go through roof, The one thing in our my mind is only bitcoin.
We witness also in the past bull run that bitcoin are one of coins are increasing so much the price and to the price that we never seen in our life.
If that happen maybe some of altcoins in the market that dump for so long will be pump and reach to the high price.

Bitcoin will do well, no question about that, but so will altcoins. 2017 was the biggest BTC run we've ever seen, but altcoins outperformed BTC by a LONG shot. Bitcoin is the better choice in bear markets, as it doesn't pull back as much as altcoins.

Most people anticipates BTC to be the best performer, and will most likely FOMO into altcoins, once they see how well they perform next run.  Grin

Blocknet and ADA is my 2 best holds for now. ADA being a top alt, and Block being my early retirement choice of investment. I hold a couple of BTC just as a hedge, but I'm sure the majority of my gains will come from these 2 altcoins.

Blocknet is running the first and only TRUE DEX on the market right now. You can read more about it here btw: https://blockdx.com/

Their Xrouter services, which will solve the Oracle problem is what excites me the most though, as service nodes will be able to profit from:

Block Rewards
Oracle Rewards
DEX Trading Fees

Considering they are valued at less than $5 mio marketcap, it's pretty much a no brainer as of right now.

ADA is a safer investment, and I believe it will eventually reach $1-$2 next bull run due to it's scaling capacities…
188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dont have the right to know WHO OWNS YOUR MONEY on: December 12, 2019, 01:33:52 AM
Oh God, why dont you just trade on a decentralized DEX like Blocknet if you care that much? Sure I believe we can all see the problem, but overall no one should TRUST a centralized exchange at all.

Hopefully in a few years, they'll lose the battle against decentralized solutions. Hopefully
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2020 Bull Run Speculation. Which Coins Will Go Through The Roof? on: December 10, 2019, 07:08:28 PM
There is no coin which I can suggest to others with certainty less Bitcoin and ethereum, everything else is risky. 2020 bull run is just a speculation and I strongly suggest to avoid such speculations. We may or may not a bull run next year.
I completely understand what you are trying to say here but i would not suggest any other coin other than bitcoin and 2020 bull run is not just a speculation alone, we expecting to complete the cyclic process we are having in the market since it inception.
I expect bitcoin and some top coins will follow the market, the rest will die off eventually.

Shitcoins with no use case, or products will die a slow death, sure. Truth is that there are a LOT of undervalued projects out there, who is yet to be adopted on large scale. BTC was the first cryptocurrency, but it doesn't do much except being "digital money".
Blocknet as OP mentioned will make it possible for people investing in crypto to trade with each other without trusting a third party, solving the Oracle problem on top of that is ambitious, but doable, so definitely a project I see surviving long term IMHO
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What altcoins under 10 mio marketcap (with a team after the coin) has potential? on: December 09, 2019, 03:40:59 PM
Hello,

what coins under a marketcap of 10 million dollar with a good team / a good developer has a potential to grow really big in the future?

I want to invest in it a little amount and hold.

The higher the risk the better the return. This is basically the reason why some investors will look for low marketcap coins with a nice team of developers. But take note that such projects are very risky. The moment their star developers leave the team, the entire project will be shattered. It is better to go for higher marketcap coins but with solid names. Even if their star developer is gone, they can still move forward, taking a new developer, and still create an impact to the crypto community.

True. The higher the marketcap, the "safer" it is, though you wont yield the same ROI.

Dash is at $50 right now, and it's ATH was $1600 or something. (Potential to ATH: 30x)
ETH is at $150 right now, and it's ATH was $1200 (Potential to ATH: 8x)

BLOCK is at $0.60 right now, with a ATH of nearly $60 (Potential to ATH: 100x)

And it's funny because Blocknet didn't even have such a massive marketcap back then, it could easily reach $200+ next bull run, due to it's DEX, and Xrouter solving Oracles.  Grin
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Making money through DEX fee's. The next big thing? on: December 04, 2019, 07:40:59 PM
Coinbase is not a decentralised Exchange and shouldn't be used as an example, what you should use as an example is Idex which is the decentralised exchange with the highest number of users but we know how long that exchange has been around, launching an exchange now is not the best if decisions especially in this market conditions when even established exchanges are shutting down because of bankruptcy, DEXs are really struggling to keep up since more and more traders prefer to trade in CEX.

IDEX is NOT a DEX.

Good god, it's easy to fool people these days. You think a DEX can enforce KYC on it's users? Really? That's like asking the users of "ThePirateBay" to submit their passport ID before downloading. Come on now…

There's only a few real DEX's out there, and the Waves DEX, just moved to a hybrid solution, meaning it's no longer a real DEX, I'm guessing they want more "control" over their users, which is impossible on a DEX.

Please do some research on this topic to better understand how a DEX works.
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Earning DEX Fees VS Earning CEX Fees. Thoughts? on: December 04, 2019, 07:36:26 PM
I didn´t know that there is a decentralized exchange that giveaway fees from exchange profit. Tell me about some.
But, it seems that it could work, we already have decentralized casinos with tokens that gives you an opportunity to participate on profit, so why not have such decentralized exchange?
You can try to take a look at idex and it always distribute ethereum as the dividend to the IDEX token holders. Casinos that paid dividend is not a new thing again, dude

Logically, when you are saying that the DEX must be owned by people and then there will be no a DEX that can distribute the fees caused by that needs some people to maintain the dex to make sure if the distribution of dividend will be running smoothly. OP, when you are seeing etherdelta and that DEX is owned by people but again that will be lack of the usage consider about it will have used to trade the token only.
When you are seeing the true dex like etherdelta and try to create a comparison with IDEX and there will be a lot of differences.

IDEX is not a DEX, and never was. NO ONE can own a true DEX. Trading fee's needs to be paid out through fees set by the individuals hosting the DEX. Fee's involved can either be a "standard" fee, or a fee set by the DEX operator itself. It's different on every exchange out there.
IDEX forced KYC on it's users, which is a CLEAR giveaway that their solution isn't decentralized. That's like asking the users of "ThePirateBay" to verify themselves and their identity, LOL.
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Comparing Chainlinks Oracles With Blocknet's Xrouter. on: December 04, 2019, 07:30:43 PM
Nice comparison between the 2 projects. Chainlink has got more partnership, but lacks use cases still.
If Blocknet starts to partner up with big companies, I'm sure it will get noticed as well. Might pick up a big bag of this before it moves up again  Grin
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $16M in Stolen Ethereum from Upbit Were Just Transferred on: November 29, 2019, 10:24:26 PM
It will be extremely interesting to observe the movement of these funds, because for sure attackers will not be able to completely hide the movement of Ethereum even when using mixers.
It seems to me that the option is that these funds will be frozen until the moment when the hackers find a way to launder this stolen money.

Don't fool yourself. You can EASILY get rid of these Ethereum once DEX's get some decent volume. All these hackers will easily be able to sell all their stolen coins on these DEX's with no one knowing.

Everyone should STOP storing or trading at these dangerous centralized exchanges, and actually start to make use of DEX's. There are some pretty good ones out there, one of them being the Blocknet DEX, which was actually the first DEX to hit the crypto market.

If the majority of people started doing this, there would be nothing to steal theoretically
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Blocknet] truly decentralized exchange | token ecosystem infrastructure on: November 29, 2019, 10:18:22 PM
I update Blocknet block.ccore.online explorer to new design.
Take a look at new design and features here: https://block.ccore.online/

It looks very nice! Smiley I'd get a better domain name though, something that is easier to remember.
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Comparing Chainlinks Oracles With Blocknet's Xrouter. on: November 29, 2019, 10:15:08 PM
Blocknet - The Internet Of Blockchains

I recently digged deep into this project, since I got extremely interested in DEX's since they seem to be on everyones agenda lately. To my surprise I discovered that Blocknet is WAY more than just a simple "DEX".
Their Xrouter is what caught my interest:

Blocknet's XRouter which makes it possible to build decentralized apps using features from any public or private blockchain, which will serve as the foundation for multi-blockchain architectures and the “Internet of Blockchains”. XRouter was designed from the ground up to provide interoperability with ANY and ALL blockchains.

Sounds familiar doesn't it? Sounds a LOT like Chainlink. You can read more about it here: https://blocknet.co/xrouter-missing-link-between-all-blockchains/

When comparing Blocknet's Xrouter to Chainlinks Oracles an interesting thing caught my attention:

The XRouter can serve billions of requests per day like Infura (who is doing over 20 billion/day). If each call averages out to about 0.001 BLOCK/call, then that's about $1,000,000 going to the active service nodes. If 100 is running it equals to $10,000/day per service node that the XRouter pulls in based off a tiny 0.001 BLOCK call at $0.70.

LINK charges 0.1 LINK/call which is 0.23 cents, which is quite expensive compared to Blocknet's Xrouter

I'm not saying LINK is a trash project, but it sure seems hyped up when you've got a project doing the exact same thing in a far more decentralized fashion with a 1/200 of the marketcap, while having the first working DEX running at the same time.

What are you guys thoughts about this? I'd love to know, because honestly? Blocknet seems to be extremely undervalued in this case, when it actually seems to be a superior solution, which is MUCH cheaper to use for everyone.

Overall, I don't understand how a project that has built this much from the ground up is ranked as low as it is. Sure they don't do aggressive marketing like Justin Sun, or Sergey, but their tech is mind blowing if you dig down and actually understand it's use cases.

Seems the aggressive marketing would help. Influential people from traditional markets(& sometimes with opposing ideologies) tend to be overhyped and well funded because of their wealthy private funders. If Blocknet is truely what people say it is, it should begin to take advertisement more seriously. You could invite some of the most popular people in this space to test the DEX and give their honest review publicly. I think true believers will help promote the DEX if they are impressed. You could also try Signature Campaign here and reward the campaigners with maybe the DEX tokens.

I'm sure they've got a marketing plan, but spending thousands of dollars in a bear market is a pretty stupid move.
Chainlink have been SPAMMED all over 4chan since it's inception, which made people believe it's the "next big thing" - Not even knowing about Blocknet.
Popular crypto projects have it easier with "partnerships", since these big corporations uses the hype to market themselves. It's basically FREE promotion, PLUS they get paid for it, get it?

Remember the hype around Vechain and their Pornhub "partnership" ? Sure the project made a 3x due to that, but when the hype settled down, so did the price, which I expect LINK will do as well eventually.

The Chainlink community has become some kind of cult, at least on 4chan. I'm seeing better discussions when visiting their Discord channel though, which is great to see at least. I do think that a LOT of people invested in LINK, expecting "MOON-Like"-gains, and that's the wrong way to invest.
We still need to see actual adoption, use cases, etc. Right now, I'm not seeing much, but that's the case with the majority of projects out there, so hard to blame them honestly.
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shitcoins got rekt big time! on: November 26, 2019, 08:31:41 PM
There are still coins positioned on the top 100 on CMC, which is rather useless compared to lower ranked coins who didn't rank themselves through an ICO.

ICO's in 2017 was just a way for most people to make a quick flip on the pump that was caused after the big launch. Check Dentacoin, $12 mio. marketcap, compared with Blocknet who launched the first working DEX, will be able to oraclize data both on blockchains, and real world applications, actually much much cheaper than Chainlink.

A LOT of good and promising projects goes unnoticed these days, but if you're able to find them, and invest in them near the bottom, you're in for some massive gains, once they release their key products which everyone have been waiting for.

These useless ICO money grabs needs to die off, with only a few of them surviving (like BAT for example).
198  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BitPay -- KYC is here! on: November 19, 2019, 07:45:59 PM
KYC seems to be enforced anywhere, where serious money is being moved. Thank God you can use DEX's to trade still without KYC, because sooner or later, you wont be able to trade anywhere without sharing all your personal details. It sucks, but just goes to show that crypto isn't what it used to be anymore.

I've been trading on the Blocknet DEX for a while, and I'm sure more and more people will make use of these DEX's in the future. Which got me thinking, perhaps you could make a decentralized payment gateway as well? We'll see I guess! Grin
199  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Are EU Exchanges Viable on: November 19, 2019, 07:38:41 PM
There are plenty of exchanges based in the EU. Litebit is located in The Netherlands, and has been operating for years already.

I'm not a big fan of centralized exchanges though, and prefers to trade on decentralized exchanges, such as the Blocknet DEX, which is one of many out there.
200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Which DEX do you believe will be the most used 2 years from now, and why? on: November 19, 2019, 07:34:04 PM
The title says it all basically. The DEX competition is HUGE, so many projects seems to be competing in this field.
The first DEX on the market was Blocknet, pretty decent DEX, but there are so many out there.

What do you guys think? Smiley
