Just finishing Mark Spitznagel's book The Dao of Capital right now and thinking about how potential extreme volatility (falling to 20K or below) might make buying out of the money puts an intelligent idea.
Would the more experienced traders here have any thoughts on this?

I am increasingly reading highly concerning analyses of Tether, saying that it is has not been audited, could cause crypto markets to crash, etc.
What do we actually know about this situation? Should we be listening to the Cassandras on this one?

I hope this does not overlap too much with other recent threads.
Been seeing market analysis that points to aggressive sellers, then some typical CNBC nonsense, then Scott Minerd on Twitter posts the following: "Crypto investors be warned: be prepared for a volatile holiday weekend."
Looking for your market readings for the next three days.
Is this just FUD for FUDsake, game playing, or are big sellers going to try and dump the price this weekend?

What's the most distinctive aspect or even indicator for scalping TA?

Sometimes I think I might as well stick to just trading BTC since most alts are correlated as rise/fall with the big one. And yet sometimes they don't, maybe because of rotation or more fundamental reasons. But just for simple range or band trading, I wonder if it is just best to stick with BTC?

Really interested in this one. Anyone else? Or any skeptics?

Looking through crypto twitter it seems like their are a lot of useless opinions about/directed at other parties (Musk, maximalists, etc.) and not so much by way of objective analysis of what is actually going on in the market right now.
Any decent analysis out there about what's going on right now, preferably with reference to on chain data?

Don't take my words for advice but I think Options expiry seems to be the even bigger trading signal.
In the most simple way I can explain is this: options expire on a certain date, no matter what the price is, and the price on these contracts are fixed, let's say Price A. Meanwhile, actual price is of course never Price A, since contracts expire in future. Lets call this Price B. Price B will always "rush" towards Price A when options expire. It seems:)
Thanks for the tip! I appreciate it and am going to investigate further.

Lately I've come across a few different trading strategies that are based on monitoring Open Interest and connecting it to liquidations.
Anybody else do this who can explain, comments, provide tips, etc.?

Granted the gold crowd is much more worried about this kind of thing, we know that when the pandemic hit crypto went down with everything else. I was just wondering what people are thinking of how to deal with, and plan for, a possible macroeconomic event that might strike a blow to crypto.

the link doesn't work I suggest putting it inside the hyperlink code(reference below) to make the whole address clickable and wouldn't be directed to an "error" as for deleveraging, I don't really understand it and as to why and how it would affect BTC. I'd appreciate an explanation. inser web address I think the link is this one: Bitcoin-Massive Deleveraging coming you have been warned! That's it, thanks!

I remember seeing a presentation on the technology a couple years back, but only recently started considering investing in this.
I would appreciate any opinions or interpretations or thoughts about this project.

Just curious about who y'all are following in the world of crypto trading analysis? Who has the best technical analysis, fundamental analysis or, better yet, combined TA and FA? It seems like now everybody and their grandma has a YouTube channel for crypto TA, but who actually does it well?

Received a message from Binance today, first time:
"You’ve received a new task
Trade a combined total of ≥ 5,000 USDT on ANY leveraged tokensView"
Normally I don't mess with Binance's leveraged tokens, a) because I am not sufficiently persuaded of their reliability; and b) because a fellow trader who is better with numbers than I am, showed me once that these tokens are not worth it.
But this made me curious. Been looking around, including in the Binance FAQ, to figure out how this works exactly.

Is BlockFi safe in the event of a stock market crash/another financial crisis?
Has anyone done, or can point me to, research as to the company's financials?
Been thinking about this a lot as I have a bunch of crypto tied up with them.

I am not a technologist, let alone a programmer, just an investor and trader.
What do I need to know about Ethereum's high gas fees? I'm hearing some say that this could sink Ethereum. How exagerrated is that?
