881  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin holders will betray bitcoin one day on: January 06, 2019, 11:36:22 PM
I foresee it coming, it keeps on ringing in my ears with series of flashbacks. It will happen like a speed of light in a vacuum. Most bitcoin holders will betray bitcoin one day, they  will see no value in bitcoin again, they will dump bitcoin and call it all sort of name, with all these i know there will be holders who will follow bitcoin till death apart. They will hold on no matter how tough things will be for our mother coin.My question is which side will you be?. LONG LIVE CRYPTO, LONG LIVE BITCOIN.

I'm on the side of common sense. All bitcoin holders are adult conscious people who certainly know where they invest their financial flows. It is important to understand that the way of bitcoin is very winding and there are many obstacles and barriers.

883  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Too many speculators in the cryptospace? on: December 23, 2018, 11:55:53 PM
Seeing the usual conversations in this forum and in others related to the cryptocurrency issue, as well as the groups on Facebook, Telegram and others, it seems that most of those interested in this field have no other interest than making easy and fast profits.

And I think this is something that has negatively impacted the market, because it has driven the high volatility in the prices of cryptocurrencies, regardless of how serious each project is: investors are always willing to sell their tokens at the first opportunity, instead of supporting the cryptos as a technological development with long-term potential.

Do you agree with the speculation without limits?

There are a lot of scams in real life, not only on the Internet. If prisons weren't filled with people who were put behind bars for pot or repost on a social network, the Internet would be much safer than it is now. And so we have what it has and it's not very good.
884  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WHY ARE PEOPLE STILL CONDEMNING BITCOINS on: December 23, 2018, 11:52:29 PM
BItcoin is getting better and popular. As a matter of fact, so many gaint companies and industries are chipping in bitcoin and its activities into the operation.
It might interest you note than Mercedes Benz, BMW, Samsung, TECHNO and APPLE are all accepting bitcoins for their products.

Bitcoin is growing stronger, lets forget about the red on the market. WE WILL SEE GREEN SOON AND IT WILL BE ALL SMILES.

If large corporations start investing in bitcoin it will create a very good atmosphere around the entire cryptocurrency. After learning about bitcoin, an ordinary person will look for information about cryptocurrencies and find other coins suitable for him. This is a positive trend.
885  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of Twitter Scammers on: December 23, 2018, 11:50:27 PM
Not only are the scammers doing the fake accounts that say "send .02 BTC and get triple" but apparently now they are either buying verified accounts or hacking them and changing the names and pictures to cryptocurrency people. Now it can actually be hard to tell if someone is scamming.

An example:https://twitter.com/officialmcafee/status/967887920991559681

Really shitty that this is happening. Be careful everyone

These guys are getting pretty fed up. I never like Twitter as a social network. There's a lot of obsessive and meaningless information that you simply clog up your brain. In General, now this problem applies to all social networks, not just Twitter.
886  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tips to overcome depression. on: December 23, 2018, 11:48:38 PM
I can understand thst some are disappointed with current situation and that they have lost a lot if they bought Bitcoin at the highest price. But depression because of that? You should have left that behind you by now or you have a big problem. By now you should have faced the consequences of your bad decision and moved on. And the most important I hope you have learned something out of it for the future.

In order not to fall into such a state, you should always understand and remember that any situation always brings you valuable experience in your life. I, too, when it fell into depression at each drawdown of the market, but to trade productively you need to turn off emotions and turn on the brain.
887  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many times you heard the bitcoin gonna die? on: December 23, 2018, 11:46:45 PM
I'm in this market for almost 2 years.
I think that I heard about the death of Bitcoin a thousand times already. It's becoming ridiculous.
Is there any site that tracks all the time that 'Bitcoin good die' was in the news? I want to print it and put it on my wall.

I did get to hear about the bitcoin dead on this platform and have seen that the bitcoin still has value. I want to believe that the news has kept the cryptocurrency active and alive too. The cryptocurrency/bitcoin is just awaiting the full adoption of the government and proper legalization of the bitcoin into the buying and selling globally like other fiats.

Bitcoin will soon become the national currency of the world as soon as all government offices are disbanded. Of course this is a joke) No one is going to bring bitcoin to the Federal level until its decentralization is subordinated to one management Cabinet. It always has been and always will be. Bitcoin is a currency for people.
888  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dozens of bomb threats by ‘Bitcoin scammers’ hit several US states on: December 23, 2018, 11:44:41 PM
Several area businesses are receiving what appears to be a robo-email saying there is a bomb threat to their business unless they pay money in Bitcoins.  We have found no credible evidence any of these emails are authentic.

https://www.rt.com/usa/446407-bomb-threats-bitcoin-scammers/?fbclid=IwAR1tVBYbV-3mmSN9rLDao3hkxMTJLzPj2q20NiL8Va6BC--ouKrzaVCmdM4

The classic layout for students. Well, you think, who in 2018 will be engaged in such nonsense as extortion of money through e-mails with threats to blow up a bomb? These events took place 5 years ago and even then it seemed something stupid and ridiculous.
889  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Using bitcoin without internet on: December 23, 2018, 11:42:27 PM
Blockstream Satellite Now Means Most Of The World Can Use Bitcoin Without Internet. What's your opinion on this one? Do you see it as progress or not? Huh

Wow! I didnt want to believe this can happen or being believable but here we are in the Jet times with technology having break throughs. This is a very welcome idea but hope this alternative will be reliable to keep Investor's funds safe. Well, I will definitely do a due diligence brackdrjn

I don't know. All such availability of the Internet for the transaction will still be better than its absence. In this case, we can not be sure at all that you will not lose your bitcoins even from a cold wallet. It is not profitable for anyone now.
890  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: fear of ransomware attack like wannacry on: December 23, 2018, 11:40:36 PM
is there any chance of losing bitcoin by ransomware cyber attacks like wannacry Huh

Hackers arrange attacks only on users who have really large amounts of money in cryptocurrencies on their wallets. If you have several bitcoins then believe me you have nothing to fear. For security, you can split your amount into several parts - this will reduce the risk of attracting attention to you.
891  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are people unintentionally trying to kill the price of bitcoin? on: December 13, 2018, 08:58:06 PM
It’s come to my attention that there are being a lot of hacks and scams going on at the moment.

This is a warning to people to keep wallets fully protected, exchange accounts should have 2fa added and wallets should at least have a password on them.

However, if these new hackers are successful in art king vulnerabilities in web browsers and adding, it could really make the price start to drop quite dramatically.

(We always get hacks and scams increasing when the price dips - usually because it hits the news or people can get bored of their funds not doing so well I guess)... Anyway, stay vigilant and don’t click anything you don’t trust.

It is best to keep the wallet on an external flash drive or use a special cold wallet for cryptocurrency. If you keep a private key on your personal computer, there is always a possibility that a virus will be sent to your computer which will later withdraw all your money to the wallets of scammers.
892  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who wants to use Bitcoin? on: December 13, 2018, 08:43:51 PM

This is one of the most beautiful cartoons I've ever seen. Very well explained indeed.
Everybody wants to have a bitcoin.
Someone wants to buy bitcoin.
But nobody wants to use it.
That's a big problem. We need to use this. We need to use it.

What do you think about this?
The problem is that now there are no so many businesses and shops that would accept bitcoin as an equivalent Fiat currency. That's why people don't want to use bitcoin. Yes, now there are more and more online stores where you can use crypto to pay, but it's still not enough for bitcoin to reach the world level and everyone believed in it finally.
893  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many times you heard the bitcoin gonna die? on: December 13, 2018, 08:40:10 PM
I also heard it a countless times, but I think it depends if you are a pessimistic or an optimistic person. I consider myself an optimist and I'm pretty sure bitcoin is not gonna die. There will always be some people who hold their share and so bitcoin won't die. The more interesting question is if in, I don't know, hundred years from now, bitcoin still exists, are there still people who are willing to pay a price to get bitcoin? I guess so, but we can not be absolutely sure.

I've always wondered what really affects the price of bitcoin in real time. When I first came into this area, I was sure that the main factor affecting the pricing of crypto is PR in the world media as well as the riveted attention of the public. Now it seems to me that this is a false idea of pricing.
894  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some "whales" preparing for selling operations? on: December 12, 2018, 09:58:30 PM
2/3 of the Bitcoin transactions are related to trading and not a real use (I mean someone buying something, etc) Don't worry it's the same with ETH, so. I created a thread long ago about this topic. Considering this, it means traders stopped to trade and/or are just holding coins I don't know. AS whales aren't responsible for most of the transactions, I would say it means nothing about whales, it's rather people refraining to trade/use BTC

Everything will change as soon as large companies begin to introduce the use of bitcoin as an equal method of payment for goods on an equal basis with the dollar and other Fiat currencies. While bitcoin will be used only as a security, that is, for trading on various exchanges, we will not be able to treat this phenomenon normally.
895  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Alibaba Uses Blockchain to Track the Goods. on: December 12, 2018, 09:47:49 PM
We have a week of positive news from China!
Alibaba introduced new e-commerce platform T-Mall, based on blockchain technology in partnership with the logistics company Cainiao.
Read more here: T-Mall Auction from Alibaba Uses Blockchain to Track the Goods
Green market soon? Wink

The green market will be in any case, the question is only when. Another thing is how it will affect this proposed news. As we know China has always been an influential factor regarding bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Perhaps this news will also have a positive impact on the market as a whole. Let's hope for the best.
896  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is this a safe way to create a bitcoin wallet? on: December 12, 2018, 09:42:06 PM
I say yes about it. Bitcoin wallet is the safest wallet because you can monitor it by your own, it can be use easily in sending money or paying. It is safe as long you keep your pasword by your own and have internet connection for the monitoring process.

This is understandable, but there is always the possibility that the private key may be lost and then you will lose access to all your money. For example, in a Fiat currency, you have the opportunity to go to the Bank and declare the loss of the card or loss of access to it. In the case of a bitcoin wallet, your funds will be lost forever and irrevocably for all owners of the bitcoin network.
897  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do not worry about the future of Bitcoin! It is just beginning on: December 11, 2018, 03:26:27 PM
We are too concerned about the price of bitcoin that forgets the true value of it. We overestimate the price of bitcoin up to 20k $ by the end of 2017, we create bitcoin bubble itself, but it does not have errors. Although the market is in a doldrum, you can see the big investors start entering the market, the giants are beginning to care about bitcoin. So let's be optimistic, I believe in the value of bitcoin, I believe bitcoin will have the same value as gold in the future.

See more optimistic information for bitcoin: https://www.nasdaq.com/article/bitcoin-money-of-the-future-cm895538

My predictions about bitcoin are also optimistic, but we can assume that it will disappear one day and another, more progressive currency will come in its place. It does not matter what it will be called, only the basic functions that it will perform are important. Of course I'm talking about anonymity and decentralization.
898  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Holding BTC at this satge is a bad idea? on: December 11, 2018, 03:23:47 PM
BTC is showing weakness and loosing ground day by day I think it is the time for the investors to book profit who are on profit and minimize losses who already suffered a big loss. Can anybody enlighten me on this issue now?

Now is the best time to invest in bitcoin as paradoxical as it may sound. If you look at all the successful investors, they have one thing in common: they invested when others were afraid and sold everything they have at low prices. So now some have everything and others have nothing.
899  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Miners are closing... (video) on: December 10, 2018, 10:25:18 PM
Wow man this is just sad, I didn't even complete the video, the sound of his voice is full of depression, a lot of people facing the same thing but as individuals, seeing the price of RX 5xx getting as low as $100 used in my county after it was $350 used is just hurting, I have a lot of them and I don't know what I should do I already shut them down in October and they are setting there collecting dust I will not sell them that cheap, I still have some hope that things will turn around. This video is just a big mirror of what every miner face these days.

Now mining does not pay for itself. The price for the power required for mining is too ahead of the price that is obtained by mining now. However, people do not want to sell their video cards in the hope that the market will make a reversal and the price of bitcoin will grow again. I would advise you to continue mining if you can get income from other sources.
900  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I got my handmade Swiss Bitcoin watch and it is beautiful! on: December 10, 2018, 10:19:28 PM
It looks really cool! My brother has a very similar watch to yours, but it was bought somewhere in Italy for a lot of money. The first time I saw them, I thought they were the best watches I'd ever seen.
