61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Take Advantage ,, on: January 22, 2021, 11:59:27 AM
There is still high chances of recovery I believe, the bulls aren't done yet and the whales are still accumulating some bitcoin, although it won't be long anymore that bears could take over, nothing is so guaranteed in crypto space, it's a good time to buy back but we got to be careful, buy back with only what you can afford to lose
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Privacy Coin Firo under 51% attack on: January 21, 2021, 10:48:03 AM
All these nonsense with 51% attack still occurs in 2021? This is so lame, every new projects that are running on POW algorithm are trying to avoid this type of attack, why would a old project still leave room for such attack? Zcoin teams are not serious it seems
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solution for pumping and dumping of new tokens ? on: January 21, 2021, 10:45:47 AM
Can't say about others, but to me the rise and fall (Volatility) in crypto price can be considered as pump and dump, crypto isn't stable as we all know so there is no way to solve this issue, there is no solution to this than to go stable coin
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin I should investmen with 5k dollars? on: January 21, 2021, 10:41:04 AM
My answer is bitcoin, if you are ready to gamble then you can look into other top altcoins but Bitcoin remains my first priority because all eye are on bitcoin right now, everyone wants to get a piece of the crypto coin, for long term bitcoin won't disappoint you, and with bitcoin the risk is lesser
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How long will this scam go on? on: January 20, 2021, 11:32:41 AM
Scammers have been in existence like forever, there is no way to stop them, people who scam derives pleasure from hurting people like themselves and swallowing innocents people's hard earned money with no remorse, they are indeed wicked people, we just have to learn how to avoid getting scammed
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining pool steup on: January 20, 2021, 11:29:35 AM
It's not that hard to setup a mining pool yourself, whichever mining pool you want to use will have tutorial about how to configure your rigs with the pools address and port, also where to insert the coin address to receive payment, the answer you seek is available on every pools
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Vega 56 detected but does not mine on: January 20, 2021, 11:27:31 AM
You are wasting electricity if you are mining with gtx750 or other cards with 2gb video memory, remove them and leave the AMD cards in your motherboard, go into AMD drivers settings and activate compute mode, this should increase your hashrate, also what version of driver are you using? If the compute mode don't solve the problem I recommend using a different mining software
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the state of cryptocurrency is very difficult to predict on: January 19, 2021, 11:15:51 AM
Just like you rightly said, it was anticipated that Litecoin will beat Ripple, but however it turned out to be the other way around, meaning the crypto space can't be predicted, at the same time, saying that Cardano will beat Ripple might still go the other way around and Ripple will continue being above it, and Polkadot on the other hand might drop in rank; all these are speculations as that is all we can do, while the market is always working differently. Therefore, considering all these, I think it is better to leave the market to work and stop predicting, invest in whatever coin you want with good decisions. However, if Ripple is defeated, then there is every tendency the price will dump more and other coins will overtake it, but for now, let's keep our fingers crossed.
LTC can still beat XRP out of its position in future but I don't really care which one takes the third or fifth position, every God damn projects on top 10 rank have my outmost respect and they all deserve a place in my portfolio I believe, XRP isn't defeated yet, if SEC never went after XRP things might be different for XRP right now
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the state of cryptocurrency is very difficult to predict on: January 19, 2021, 11:13:06 AM
I don't know why polka dots have increased so high in recent times, is this a sign that polakdot can be one of the best token options in crypto? but I feel optimistic about the increase in polka-dots and hopefully it can last long in the crypto top 10
Saying you don't know why Polkadot increase so high means you don't know anything about Polkadot, this project is a very strong project with fully ready team who are so determined to take this project higher, every single projects that runs on Polkadot platform are successful, that's enough to create insane awareness for Polkadot, this project could be the most worthy Ethereum wannabe
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the state of cryptocurrency is very difficult to predict on: January 19, 2021, 11:10:26 AM
I have my own crypto rule that I will never break, that's never buy coins when they are surging or when they are at a new ATH, you can never know when they will plan to retreat on you, to me it's too late to buy bitcoin unless you have the money to take risks, it's better to go altcoin fully right now cos it looks like Bitcoin is out of chakra juice already
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Can we still mine Ethereum with 4GB cards? on: January 18, 2021, 09:56:41 AM
So is it still possible to mine Ethereum with RX570's ?
Have some 570's from a year back and quite unknown towards the dag file.

Expert's suggestion needed.

Thanks
If you are getting low hashrate like 17 or 15 mhs from a RX570 with 4gb it's still fair enough because of the Profit one can get from Ethereum mining right now, I'd say it worth it, don't bother selling the gpus right now, wait till this profitable mining season is over then you can sell them
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Any use for small GPU machine? on: January 18, 2021, 09:53:50 AM
Hi,

I have a GPU machine with 8 cards. A few years ago I used it for many things such as LTC and ETH.

These days ETH is going to proof of stake, and I am no longer interested in LTC. So is there any GPU mining out there or it is now only BTC?

I might sell it on eBay.

Thank you.
I'm guessing the cards are too old to mention their names? I see few asking what the name of the gpus are but you don't bother to answer them, if you have free electricity there isn't nothing to worry about, now that Ethereum mining is so profitable its a good time to use rigs available
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Overview List of Exchangeable Bounty Campaign on: January 18, 2021, 09:50:13 AM
It's only the bounty campaigns that have good volume counts, not all these listed bounty tokens have good trading volume, few of them don't have at all
If i will only add a coins with a good volume then only few project can be added.

I created this thread to have them a  choice  before participating in a bounty which is tradeable and can be sold after the campaign ended.

They can also review a project before joining and thats not a big problem since they are able to see where is it tradeable.
Don't mind @ Akiko, there are few bounty projects that got listed on Uniswap only and they have less volumes but later they get listed on other exchanges and volumes came out of nowhere, you are on the right track mate, keep doing your best
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Cheap gpu deals in Alibaba on: January 17, 2021, 10:28:23 AM
Buy from official stores on alibaba or aliexpress and you won't have any problem, igame colorful and Maxsun are the best chinese brand money can buy, make sure you don't buy from people but from official stores only, many don't just know how to shop on these websites that's why they got scammed, you get discount this way, faster delivery and ease of mind

i was looking for a cheap GPU's , but when i gain info about these cards, all are saying these are Nvidia cards, now i am little confused  Huh... i thought it were Chinese brands? honestly if i think Chinese brands first thing i get in minds is CHEAP  Grin, but these cards are not that cheap

Nvidia and AMD's are model maker, manufacturers. They produce the chips and processors for the cards. And Asus, gigabyte, msi, zotac, evga etc are brands. They get cards from manufacturers and use their own specs, design and branding the product. They dont manufacture the built. If you own a company and have good brand value, may be you can order thousands unit of cards and can do your own marketing.
Well said @Malikbaba and the truth is some brands are better than the others, in china there are many fake brands with no name, meaning no brand company, I don't know how they build such GPU without getting arrested for it, if it's a RX5700 it's going to be RX5700 only, no brand name like Asus or msi, people need to be more careful
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: the future of GPU mining.... on: January 17, 2021, 10:25:10 AM
I've stopped deceiving myself, I don't think the POS will ever happen because majority of miners out there are mining Ethereum, just imagine what could happen if that stops, Vitalik don't know what he is doing I bet, maybe he already realize that Ethereum truly belongs to POW algo

me too, i have a feeling POS is a step in the WRONG direction !!....
Don't mind that vitalik buterin, this isn't the first time they will rant about POS on Ethereum network, it's been years already and nothing happened, if truly Ethereum is going to POS algo why are they planning to implement EIP-1559 again? These guys are a joke
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: list of bounties good quality (new update 07_12_2020) on: January 17, 2021, 10:22:41 AM
Why is my identity coin not on the list of quality bounties OP? And you are wearing my identity coin signature too, also there is a new bounty campaign called swaap, I think it's worth the shot too, although I'm waiting for the team to drop more information about their team members or CEO, can't be too slacking this days
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Wich motherboard... ZEC on: January 16, 2021, 08:56:58 AM
You can use any motherboard to mine Zcash, it's not as if there are separate motherboards one can use to mine Zcash it's all the same thing, just go to Amazon, Newegg to ebay and shop for motherboards with enough pcie slots you need
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Anyone can test these 6 Pcie slots Ryzen mobos? on: January 16, 2021, 08:55:24 AM

By the way, R7 1700 is 500h/s in XMR, https://forums.servethehome.com/index.php?threads/monero-mining-performance.12116/

Does anyone has these mobos and can test them for mining?

I'm tempted to go with the cheapest ryzen cpu when Vega launches (Ideally 4C4T, but it might not launch before vega). It brings some XMR mining ability, the ability to cpu mine new coins and handle high cpu load unoptimized miners (like in the early days of zcash) and imo, slower depreciation and easier resell of the cpu and mobo. It will be good to know if 6 gpus work.
I have that Asrock AB350 and I've used it for mining before sending it off to a cousin of mine for gaming purpose only but don't ever try investing on that CPU for mining, 500hs in XMR won't give you any joy and you will be wasting electricity for pennies, how about getting GPUs like RX580 8gb editions?
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hidden Gems on: January 16, 2021, 08:51:15 AM
I've heard about COTI and it's sure a good project, there are still many hidden gems among the projects on coinmarketcap with low market cap that can bring good profits if you hold them like havven and sero protocol but we can't always get them all, right?
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Buy a mining rig in 2021? on: January 15, 2021, 09:55:55 AM
I think I am not able to build a rig for myself, thats why I want to buy complete rig and be sure that everything is ok.
I am more wondering and worried about that POS algorithm coming up... :/
You don't have to worry about the POS algorithm, as you can see Ethereum is still running on POW algorithm presently and it's been said many times that the POS update will take time before it actually become completed, Im sure it will take more than a year for the switch to be completed, be rest assured
