141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The bounty scam will gradually go away on: December 14, 2020, 10:46:57 AM
Things are getting more worsen in bounties today, if you don't open your eye very well you will keep promoting scam projects over and over again, scammers are reshaping their hunting skills, now they are even using AI tech to present fake videos with real team members just to deceive, scams isn't going away anytime soon infact its getting worse
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many old coins are dead and abandoned by the developer, WHY? on: December 13, 2020, 09:23:13 AM
Two things are involved here, a failed project is different from a scam project, a failed project fail due to lack of funds or interest in the project, expectations aren't met and they have no choice but to close down but some people willingly build scam projects to rob investors of their money and slowly swallow the whole liquidity themselves
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this even normal? on: December 13, 2020, 09:20:50 AM
I noticed that the team are too lazy to update spreadsheet themselves and many warned them to hire a bounty manager to get the job done for them but they refused, that's when I started having my suspicious about the project, it won't cost much to hire a pro bounty manager but instead they decide to manage the project themselves
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The success of the project depends on the project developer himself! on: December 12, 2020, 09:38:55 AM
Capabilities, reputation, credibility, Zeal, all this have to be present in a developers to achieve success in crypto space today because it's not that easy to get the attention needed for your new project, investors don't just invest on new projects anymore unless they are newbies to crypto and now that ICO have lost its trust to IEO investors prefer IEOs from top exchanges
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: which coin to mine with GTX 1060 mining rig for long term profit on: December 12, 2020, 09:34:33 AM
You can only get away with gtx1060 by mining with free electricity now, the cards are not Profitable anymore, on amazon gtx1060 are still selling @ $299 to $384, that's roughly the exact amount I can get a gtx1660 ti or super, I suggest you let go of these cards and buy latest cards that are sufficient for mining
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Trying to get rid of some AMD HD gpu series on: December 11, 2020, 08:48:01 AM
The power consumption of these cards is why they are obsolete for mining profits today, the power is still present as they can handle any high intense graphical gaming or graphical work till date, if I can get for dirt cheap I can buy a hd7990 again, OP do you have this on your list or just the HD6990?
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: eth staking started? When will gpu mining will end if ever? on: December 10, 2020, 12:23:15 PM
I just heard eth staking started. Does that mean gpu mining will cease soon? If so, when? Any intel?
Yes gpu miners that are built for Ethereum mining will stop when Ethereum fully goes with POS but this isn't happening anytime sooner, it might take longer for the whole process to be completed, maybe a year or two but even if that happens there are other options left, miners will only need to change wallet address for a new coin and probably mining software too and start mining another coin
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunters, I need some advice on: December 10, 2020, 12:18:45 PM
We are an company from China, Our APP had 775523 users.
But we don't know how to spread our project in your guys country.
we hold an airdrop bounty but it looks don't have any effect, can you give me some advice?

this is our bounty thread.

Airdrops and Bounties can be less effective on a project that's not very good or useful for crypto users, just because Airdrops and Bounties are meant to create awareness for your project doesn't meant it will work for every project, it's left for the public to like or dislike the project, Airdrops and Bounties are for adverts and whether investors will invest depends on how good the project is.

150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Learn from my curiosity on: December 08, 2020, 07:36:34 AM
If the project is real why is it dumping so hard? From over 200$ down to get 1.2$ isn't that discouraging? The team said there is no presale or no premine, accepted but who is dumping the tokens? Today the token is already down to 0.44$ that's insane, imagine what would have happened to the portfolio of those who invested, this project is a big scam to me.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lame use cases on: December 08, 2020, 07:32:54 AM
Use cases that have tough time surviving in crypto space

1. Artificial intelligence projects
2. Virtual reality
3. Renewable green energy
4. Food blockchain projects

The question is why are they failing? I guess they failed because the team aren't professionals in the field or because no one cares about this use cases on the blockchain? Well my real answer is these use cases are good enough but need dedicated qualified personals that will make it possible to survive on blockchain, probably in the future maybe
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Email address exposure in spreadsheet on: December 06, 2020, 08:53:04 AM
I use my general email address when joining Airdrops and Bounties, yes I receive many spam mails and probably scam deals but who cares? I don't check them out anyways, I only open mails that I am expecting, also I add strong password for my email and even used 2FA so I have nothing to worry about
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is uniswap a good place for the new tokens? on: December 06, 2020, 08:48:27 AM
Uniswap is a good DEX for new tokens, liquidity can be added or manipulated too I heard, but the demand of the tokens depends on their quality, the only let down here is high transaction fees when using Uniswap exchange but this exchange is still better than using p2pb2b exchange, exmarket or latoken
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Technology is rendering the fiat money system of the 20th Century obsolete on: December 05, 2020, 08:45:49 AM
Fiat will co exist with digital currency for a very very long time, it will be a matter of choice for those who wants to use any, there won't be any type of forcing to use digital currency or Fiat, it's going to be a free world, one won't stop the other from existing, obsolete ? I don't think so
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: It's not over for Ethash on: December 05, 2020, 08:43:20 AM
Who says it's over for Ethash Algorithm when many new projects are using Ethash POW algo till date? There will be many upcoming projects in future that will choose Ethash over other available POW algorithms in crypto space that's certain, I will also like to share my past experience mining new coins, most of them failed in very short time, lack of volumes leads to delisting on exchanges, be careful which coin you hold
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fake black Friday deals on: December 05, 2020, 08:39:45 AM
Lol, I laughed whenever I see such offers, 99% of people in this space only cares about their own pocket only, using good offers or deals can't brainwashed someone like me because I don't like free things, I believe there is always more unknown things about them, big online stores that introduce blackfriday deals in my country only use some certain items for the deals, probably old items that people aren't buying
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Airdrops or "Scam-drops"? on: December 04, 2020, 08:33:46 AM
No fees should be requested from airdrop hunters before getting tokens, that's not airdrop because airdrop are supposed to be 💯 free, you will only be asked to join some social media account or groups and in fact some Airdrops ask for nothing than your Ethereum address to receive the free tokens, do not be fooled as scammers may be at work, Airdrops are completely free
158  Other / Off-topic / Re: Know what you are buying on: December 04, 2020, 08:28:27 AM
Aliexpress isn't like amazon where they reject any fake items, Aliexpress is opened to all different types of sellers, if you don't know what you are buying you will end up with fake items, there is no doubt that aliexpress have some cool items with good grade but also it's full with bad products, to buy the right graphics card make sure you search using the brand name of the card you wish to buy, for example ASUS cards, there are some brands that aren't high quality too like veineda and yeston, I have seen too many complains from buyers, the best chinese brands are colorful and Maxsun, they works just like ASUS and Gigabyte graphics card
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mobile wallet is more important on: December 03, 2020, 08:14:18 AM
Whether it is important or not depends on the user, if I use a mobile wallet it is also very important,
because it makes it easier in any case, such as sending crypto easily without turning on a PC, receiving crypto easily, and other things,
indeed there are many mobile wallets now, such as Trustwallet, IMToken, etc., because they are easy to use and store,
making users choose a mobile wallet.
You don't get it, there are some new projects that are running on a new blockchain, they have no mobile wallet but windows and Linux wallets only, that's why people are complaining cos everyone owns smartphones not PC, smart developers should know that almost all humans have access to mobile phones this days but less humans have PC in their homes, when a new project get launched mobile wallet should be the first available wallet for the project
160  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which is better between keeping assets in exchange or personal wallet on: December 03, 2020, 08:09:07 AM
A friend told me few weeks ago to keep my assets in exchange because if the exchange got hacked or my assets are misplaced, the exchange will bear the lose and refund my assets. Just yesterday, someone told me it's a lie that most exchange will go bankrupt if that should happen. I'm really confused right now. More experienced members should please enlighten me.
Only very few exchanges can take responsibility of things how wrong, it's better to take my advice and never trust your fund with any centralized exchanges either top or small, always move your coins back to your wallet, they are more safer in your own wallet, that's why we need to keep our wallets recovery seeds or private keys because that's the only thing we need to recover our funds if anything happen to our smartphones or PC, do not entrust your assets to any exchange
