The new fork is coming starting block 125 000 so please everyone update your clients as soon as possible.

What were we updating ? The most important thing is block reward:

Starting Block 125 000, BitLeu will have only 25 coins per block instead of 250.

    I did not disappear anywhere but some serious health problems and my real life demanding job really keep me away from the keyboard.

    We have some nice pictures and also videos which will be a part of a documentary for BitEnergi project in the Philippines. The project is in progress and as of now they are making the movie while someone else is getting busy with the feasibility study. This is our first and most important project so please stay with us. It takes a lot of time to implement a project at this scale.

    I would like to use this message to tell you about the future plans for BitLeu and BitEnergi company.
    You will be able to invest BitLeu in... lumber, for the start at no risk.

    Why lumber ? Because lumber has increased in price for the latest 30 years. You will not be able to find a better commodity than lumber. Especially mahogany lumber.

    How is this risk free and how will it work ?

    In order to encourage people to invest in this BitEnergi venture, we will make it risk free for the first batches. Of course, in the first batches you will only be able to invest bitleu. You invest bitleu in mahogany seedlings in BitEnergi Philippines. These seedlings will be planted, taken care of, registered in the tree registry and you only have to wait for it to grow. Risk free comes from receiving your bitleu back at a rate of 5 % per month. The price per tree will be somewhere near 20 USD. This will include the rent of the land until harvesting, the planting, the care and everything else needed to bring these trees to harvesting age.
    The harvesting age will be at around 12 to 13 years. There will be possibilities to let it grow more based on agreements. You will be able to sell your trees to another investor.
    Practically, BitEnergi will act as a group buy manager for your investment in ASICS only that the return is certain and for the start your invested cryptocurrency will be returned to you.

    So hurry up and mine as much as you can so you can use the opportunity to receive your bitleu back, while it's still available.

    We have come up with a great idea to find a use for BitLeu and as of now we will stick to this plan and have the first pilot mahogany plantation soon.

    Everything will be done legally, on a legal corporation located in the Philippines - the domain name bitenergi.ph has already been bought. We have very close connections to government officials in a low disaster risk area in the Philippines and we will have someone to represent us there at all times. They encourage this type of projects in the area and they will receive us with open hands.

    There are few advantages that you need to think when investing in a tree plantation:

1. It's eco, it will not create any carbon emissions;
2. You create jobs for the workers that will maintain the plantation in an area where jobs are very hard to find;
3. You create a great opportunity for yourself, as mahogany lumber is the best possible future investment.
4. It is a real life investment with no volatility, unlike the crypto-currencies which at the moment are still volatile. We find a use for the crypto-currencies and maybe this will help these to become less volatile.
5. Unlike other investments, you will not be paying tax for the annual interest of your investment before being reinvested to the initial amount. The trees grow naturally.
6. As an investor, you will be able to visit the plantation and personally check the trees at the same time with having a great vacation in a great country being surrounded by friendly people.


    How much is the expected return ?

    Mahogany in the tropical areas will grow very fast. If taken care well it can be harvested after 12 years. This is not the age at which the mahogany wood will have it's best qualities but it is an age at which the trees can be used in local construction markets. It is all about the volume of wood you get per hectare. The number of planted trees per hectare will be 1100, 3 meters distance in between. The minimum expected value after 12 years is 150 USD per tree. If the hardwood commodity will see a higher increase for each year then you will see a much bigger amount in the end. One hectare will cost approximately 22,000 USD to plant and maintain. At the end of the period the value of the wood will be around 165,000 USD.
    You might do your own research and find mahogany plantations in the Philippines that sell as of now at 65 USD per 18-20 years old tree. The amount invested 20 years ago was probably in the range of 1 to 2 dollars for each tree, including the care. Draw a line and see what is the earnings.

    We think that the plantation idea is that good that we plan to open a 'pension fund investment' based on it.

    This is the news and as of now the team is working in establishing the final plans and start BitEnergi corporation in the Philippines.

    We intend to make BTL a viable crypto-currency and bring value in the pockets of it's users. We intend to stick with the plans and be here to develop this coin to unseen levels.

    I will make sure that everything will be done legally, we can't even think about being against the Romanian law. I think that using those generated CNP's in the websites that you are providing are against the law.
    Some of us are involved in real international level businesses, some even working with corporations. I work for a company that has contracts with big corporations. Some examples are foreign owned banks, factories and similar. We will not stumble in getting authorized for collecting personal data.     There is no registered company as of now but before starting to collect the data there will be an authorized company or even the foundation.

Referitor la intrebarea: Ce masuri de securitate exista impotriva unor atacuri gen 51% tinand cont de costul redus al acestor atacuri in acest moment si ceea ce se intampla cu Auroracoin?

As dori sa mentionez cateva lucruri:
- Modelul POW/POS este mai putin expus acestui tip de atacuri;
- Pe viitor avem in plan sa implementam un sistem de checkpoints, care sa protejeze impotriva atacurilor de tip 51%;
- Exista in plan investitia intr-un farm de mining, ca si parte a conceptului bitleu, care sa protejeze cat de cat reteaua de aceste atacuri.
- Scrypt-Jane este protejat impotriva multi-pool-urilor care de multe ori vin cu un hashrate mai mare de 50 %, acestea putand creea dupa bunul plac un astfel de atac.

Sper ca aceste raspunsuri sa lumineze putin pe cativa care adreseaza aceste intrebari. Din pacate securizarea perfecta impotriva unui atac 51 % nu cred ca exista, aceasta este o problema intens discutata in lumea crypto.

Referitor la: De ce nu s-a promovat crearea serviciilor pentru BTL in Romania, intrucat acum pool-urile si exchange-urile si explorerele sunt de la straini si nu au fost create, adaptata si hostate de romani?

M-am asteptat de cand am gandit ideea la reactiile adverse a multor romani care vor comenta negativ, vor da reply cu FUD si cuvinte urate, punand imediat o piedica in calea promovarii. Nu puteam incepe prin a promova aceasta moneda catre romani cand nu exista inca o valoare a acestei monezi, deoarece nu ma astept sa vina investitori romani care sa o cumpere, cel putin nu pentru inceput.

Planul de inceput este de a promova bitleului in comunitatea internationala iar dupa acceptarea acestuia pe plan international, automat va fi acceptat mai departe si de catre romani, iar promovarea in Romania este pe plan secundar dar de foarte mare importanta. Deocamdata nici nu avem ce promova in Romania. Cand vom observa o crestere semnificativa pe burse, atunci bitleul va fi privit in mod mult mai serios de catre multi romani. Pana atunci ramane sa ii acorde importanta cei care doresc sa faca parte din acest proiect si sa ajute la dezvoltarea acestuia.

O alta intrebare ar fi: Cum putem participa la developmentul surselor pentru protocol si software pentru a imbunatati functionalitatea lor si pentru a aduce bugfixuri din celelalte proiecte?

Deocamdata este un singur programator care in acest moment nu lucreaza activ, dar echipa intentioneaza sa coopteze foarte curand programatori platiti pentru a rezolva diversele probleme legate de programare.

Cei care au crezut ca avem totul pregatit de la lansare, pentru ca bitleul sa valoreze cat un litecoin dupa doua zile, s-au inselat. Acest proiect a fost inceput cu resurse minime si se va dezvolta pe parcursul timpului, cei implicati de la inceput vor fi parteneri de lunga durata si cu putere de decizie asupra investitiilor, in cazul in care totul se va conforma planului.

I have updated the title of the thread according to our plans:

[ANN][BTL] Bitleu - Romanian investment cryptocurrency - ASIC-MultiPool proof !

We intend to make this cryptocurrency also an investment opportunity in solar panels power plants through BitEnergi projects. The shares in the projects will be available for trading, same as the GH/sec in cex.io. The advantage of owning the shares compared to cex.io is clear: less uncontrollable value diluting factors like "new faster ASIC technology" or the "highly volatile value of BTC and other cryptocurrencies". Once you invest your cryptos into the solar power plant, they will start producing revenue and this revenue will be long term. More about our plans soon.

I would like to let you know that we are in the process of improving the coin as follows:

- tomorrow there will be a new server for the website and other additional services like ABE Block Explorer
- more promotion within this week

- starting a facebook fan page as it was pointed that a personal page is not the best idea.


Please be aware that in less than 12 hours the N-factor will change to 8, we are only one N-factor from the same N as scrypt, which is 9. You might need to restart your miners with different settings, your hashrates will drop considerably and some people's rigs might be hanging up so you might catch a short time with higher rewards if you are aware of this, while the ones not figuring out yet will receive a lot of hardware errors.

It seems that the people at bittrex.com are really doing their job and they are showing interest to promising coins. Hopefully there will be more exchanges observing this and adding BitLeu but as of now, I am very happy with what was achieved.

The pool at http://thepool.pw/btl/ was showing for a long time rejected shares, there was a bug when moving to another server but now it is fixed.

I am still waiting for the ABE Block Explorer as user lumberinvestments is having a hard time finding someone that is capable of installing this tool. ABE Block Explorer is a key point for the development of BitLeu.
This will ensure that the users and exchange owners can always keep an eye on the premine to have the certainty of transparency. Personally, I have the certainty as my hand will not slip and click the 'sell' button in any exchange at any given point in time without announcing the sale before and what will be the purpose of it. If anything will get sold for the investments fund or anything else, it will be done at a slow pace, as much as the market can swallow without affecting much the price of the coin.

I will choose at least another three leading members for the BitLeu Foundation besides the announced President, some of them might already know they will be chosen based on the amount of support and trust they gave to this coin. There might be also other people that will be part of the Foundation, people that I have known for all my life and they have been proven trustable. I will call everyone under the President as 'Board of Trustees'.

Regarding my person, I would like to act as a guide for the future actions of the Foundation and only enforce actions in extreme cases which hopefully will not appear.
The people will be named as soon as BitLeu will have a stable value. Everyone can observe that everything I say about the future is still at planning stage, but usually my plans are always fulfilled. I will make sure though, that the Foundation will serve the best interest of its investors.

As I have heard from one of our supporters, there are already businessmen that will gather for a press conference in the city of Iasi, Romania, to make everyone aware of BitLeu. The same supporter came with a great idea, to have a way to exchange BitLeu for Leu by using the big network of already existing pay points all over the country, thus helping to integrate the usage of BitLeu crypto-currency in daily life of population. I do not foresee any big technical difficulties in achieving the real life exchange, we only need to convince the ones owning the networks that BitLeu really has value.

Please be reminded that Scrypt-Jane will always consume less electricity than other scrypt coins and will lessen the stress on your videocards.
