My points is the issuer cannt be trusted,which also means you can't trust AE. I don't think there is any different. If you can't trust someone you can't use AE. The usual p2p trade need people trust each other, the AE need buyer to trust seller and seller don't need to trust buyer. It also did not completely resolve the trust problem. Open your eyes and read previous posts. Most part of the coins will be held by Anon136 or other trusted member. So tell me what the different with Trading Thread and OTC Exchange? The one who Provide the gateway may run away with your money.

- if you need an exchange to trade your Qora's, you can use distributed Asset Exchange. Some trustworthy member can create a Qora gateway, like bitcoin veteran Noitev has made his BTC gateway. All trades at Asset Exchange are automatic, and trustless. If I understand correctly Nxt AE is very similar to the way the ripple network works. The Asset Exchange is automatic but the Qora gateway issuer is the "point of weakness" because he has to be trusted. Trust some you barely known is much worse than trust a famous exchange. Since seizing 0.8 BTC and 24M Qora from suspicious accounts, ShareXcoin has remained silent and the account holders on Poloniex have not objected. It seems pretty safe to assume that the funds I have seized are indeed stolen.
The question now is what to do with them. I do not see a way of distributing them to affected people, because there is no source of proof about ShareXcoin balances. Has this question been discussed?
I am still waiting to hear back from qora (dev) about the stability of Qora and the suitability of it for an exchange; that is why the market is still frozen.
There is no way to prove who lost how many qora on ShareXcoin. 1.If someone sent his qora to ShareXcoin, he can't prove he didn't sell it and withdraw all his btc. 2.If someone buy some qora on ShareXcoin, he still can't prove it. I am sorry for the one who lost coins. So there only reasonable way is to add it to the fund. |
