521  Economy / Services / Re: Bitstarz.com March Signature Campaign – up to 0.1 BTC and more per month on: April 09, 2015, 01:24:50 PM
Since you're all here, let me ask you:

Would you sign up to our campaign if we had no escrow and paid the money ourselves?

Thanks for the answers.

Nick
I don't think escrow is necessary, unless you are a newbie.
If you really run a real business, then people don't need worry about you don't pay them, because you don't pay them, you business is end for sure.
If you don't use escrow, you may change the pay period to weekly or bi weekly, not the monthly.
522  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many altcoin holders also hold at least $5 USD in Bitcoin? on: April 09, 2015, 09:39:57 AM
Sure, if you don't even own bitcoin, then why did you need altercoin. People invest alter coin, mainly because of want to earn bitcoin  Grin Grin Grin
523  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is just to complicated for the average person to use.. on: April 09, 2015, 09:35:21 AM
Bitcoin isn't too hard for the average user to use.
Bitcoin is too hard for the average joe to aquire!

You need to have BTCitcoin to use BTCitcoin.

Have a look at what just got posted on Reddit's r/Bitcoin http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/31yg78/bitcoin_is_the_future_of_money_is_it/

It's not that hard and will get even easier. Plenty of people willing to sell you bitcoins for cash on local bitcoin or other local listing sites. I don't think bitcoin is difficult to use either though I think it could seem daunting to get into or use at first but it's just getting over that initial hurdle.
The real problem for average people is the safe of bitcoin, even the professional company's money could be stolen, how can expect an average people can keep his coin safe?

525  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Need to know more about cold storage on: April 09, 2015, 09:28:20 AM
Hello!
Actually what is a cold storage (in bitcoins)?
I didn't get it..
Cold storage doesn't have private keys or what? If it have a private key then cold storage can also be hacked by some malware, keyloggers, etc., right?
An online wallet can be used as a cold storage?
Or
i should have any special equipments for cold storage?
Cold storage is something like bit mixer/laundry?
Cold storage transactions are off blockchain?

~Rude Boy
Cold storage means you should never let your private key to be online. If your private key connected to internet, you are not absolutely safe.
526  Economy / Speculation / Re: China lower the power price and cause bitcoin crash? on: April 09, 2015, 09:24:38 AM
It has been confirmed that the power rate in China will drop by 2 cents(yuan) ? Could this trigger the bitcoin crash?
I don't think so, the miners can use the power more cheaper than the industrial and commercial electricity, this power rate decreasing will not change anything.

528  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dark Web Doc film. Great to watch! on: April 05, 2015, 10:52:36 AM
Today the difference between intelligence agencies and police has become blurred. Police pretty much acts like intelligence agencies, they use the same tools and methods, like mass surveillance for example. Not just NSA, but even local police engages in mass surveillance.
529  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The technology behind Bitcoin is not important on: April 05, 2015, 10:51:21 AM
it is important because if you want to protect your bitcoin, you have to understand the technology behind bitcoin.
I hope one day people don't need to worry about the security of their bitcoin.
530  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The truth about the Bitcoin Foundation on: April 05, 2015, 10:47:08 AM
Do we really need  Bitcoin Foundation?
As a decentralized currency, a centralized organization is totally inappropriate。
531  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So Tired of Waiting... on: April 05, 2015, 10:44:11 AM
If you choose use bitcoin, the waiting time is inevitable, unless you choose a altercoin, a bunch of altercoin can be confirmed fast than 1 minutes  Grin Grin Grin

It's drugs so it's fine, next time they'll dispose of cyanide drums in the towns water supply and THEN work out it's a stupid move.
539  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Illinois Public Schools Can Demand Students’ Social Networking Accnt & Passwords on: March 30, 2015, 04:57:08 AM
Like "stop and frisk", this is complete bullcrap. If someone saw someone post a threatening message or bully on social media, someone else should be able to see it without having to infringe on the accused's privacy.
540  Other / Politics & Society / Re: FBI Has Put ALL Registered Motorcycle Owners On Classified Gang List on: March 30, 2015, 04:54:15 AM
I wonder how many people who work at the FBI have motorcycles and are on their own gang list? It would be interesting if someone got the list and tried to get them all fired because they’re listed as gang members by their own morons.
