281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [KEY] KeyCoin | Fair Launch | Daily Updates | 8/6 KeyOS Update on: August 08, 2014, 10:23:51 PM
It's sad that Fudders like Epimetheus (yes, I'm calling you out because you were the most blatant about it) don't realize that they are doing more to hurt the coin with their flip flop from fudding the coin one day and then supporting it the next day.  Rather than trying to scare people to panic sell to buy in cheap and make a profit, it would have been 10x better to support the coin and promote it in the first place.  This would have bring in way more profits in the long term since right now, everyone buying in would be considered early adopters.  You fudders are seriously idiots.

And to people who actually believed all this FUD and sold at a lost.  I really hope you learned your lesson.  Do some more reading and consider the facts next time before you panic.

I feel bad for keycoin devs.  They're working so hard to deliver some of this amazing technology that could one day change the world of crypto and they have been very professional, but they are just working with a community full of amateurs here.
What FUD? I said that I don't trust the team behind this coin (not the devs, the prom team). I said that it would go to 15k OR 300k. I did not cause the crash last night. I was not even around. It was coinsource with their stupid tweet that caused a lot of holders to panic sell. Still don't understand why you guys let this coin drop more than 50% in value in a few mins. That is pure panic and we are still seeing the results of that panic sell. When the market calms down and the sky is cleared this might go up a lot. I still stand with what I said before. It will either go down a lot OR it will skyrocket soon. I gambled on the rocket Wink

Obviously not just you alone, but the crap ton of Fudders that just flooded this thread and all the naive people who panicked contributed to the price falling.  And you definitely supported the FUD during that time.

Fontas thinks we should buy.. usually this means pump soon so I will buy Wink

https://twitter.com/FontasPumps/status/497689662308511744

guys, don't even follow these Whales.
When they call something a good they already bought them lower an set up sell walls the pumpers will buy into. after these buys dry up the dump accourse.
Be super careful with these tweets. They always manipulate their follow to get big profits out of them.
I know. Don't worry. 100k for Key is a good price if you consider the fact that there is 1M supply and devs are updating here regularly. Think this might be a lot more worth next week. It is worth the risk right now so I bought. Already going up everywhere. Just needs a final push to break 200k again.

Wow. Am I the only one who noticed that this guy was fudding and talking crap about keycoin yesterday and now he's supporting it?

Just makes it so obvious all these fudders spread lies to drive price down so they can buy in cheap. Anyone listening to all these fuds and selling your keycoins cheap just got scammed. Let it be a lesson learned.
284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [KEY] KeyCoin | Fair Launch | Daily Updates | 8/6 KeyOS Update on: August 08, 2014, 10:05:12 AM
Wow, just woke up and saw that every Fudder in history is here to spread lies. To people wondering if devs are a scam, go back in the post histories and do your own research. Obviously the Fudders are going to tell you it's confirmed with their false evidence.

And like I have said before, devs out to scam would not continue posting here. They have actually been very professional about this.

Oh look, one of the original fudders (Erastos) is back.  Check out this quote from him a couple weeks ago saying that Keycoin would never release a working anon.  He was proven wrong there.  Don't listen to this guy.

Exactly, luckily for you, you have historical data from CRYPT to get an idea of how KEY will play out. Although since they already played their 'anon coming' card, it's about as high as it's going to go without an actual working anon which they likely don't have, or ever will.
286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [KEY] KeyCoin | Fair Launch | Daily Updates | 8/6 KeyOS Update on: August 07, 2014, 10:36:14 PM
It's the trading environment that is being built on it. Do you guys want to test the spread calc app!? we can release it for mac win and linux if you all want to have a taste of one of the apps that will be part of it?

Yes, please.  Having a taste of that or anything else would be good at this point.

And guys, DeViL303 has already admitted that he's just here to troll.  Let's stop feeding him.  Ignore would be a good choice.

Why do I care so much, because I really don't like this group and its members,  because they have accused me of being a liar and posting fake screenshots etc, pr0m has even gotten his buddy moosa to delete my comments and ban me for saying the truth, so I just do this for the fun now, just to annoy them basically, I don't think its working, but all the same I will continue  Cheesy

EVERYONE NEEDS TO READ WHAT'S QUOTED ABOVE.  HE JUST ADMITTED HE'S A FUDDER.

yes, when these dodgy guys are involved, I will try get people to remember Fear Uncertainty and Doubt, every time. Read it and weep! Smiley

Ok, you've made your point.  Now kindly leave before you make an even bigger fool out of yourself.

Here is the answers I got to why coinsource verification actually means anything, nothing they said makes me think that it adds any trust to these devs, they even admit themselves that it could still be a scamcoin:  "[21:43] <TkHamed> We can't protect against a scam, its impossible. If a developer is going to scam he will scam"

Dude, just stop. The same could be said about every coin out there.  Also, you seem to be the type of person to twist anything around just to try and bring keycoin down.

Again, to everyone out there, be smart and do your research!  A team of devs out to scam would not continue to post in this thread like the devs are currently doing.  They would be long gone by now and taking all their profits with them.  Just the simple fact that they are still posting, updating and trying to best to disban all this FUD is plenty to prove that they are committed to this coin.  Use your heads people!

we could say the same about cryptcoin, the devs posted there for hundreds of pages too, and look where that is now, you seem to think people posting in a BCT thread with anon accounts actually means something?

Again, twisting things around.  As far as I know, Crypt dev have not delivered on their promises, which is why they are down (still, doesn't necessarily mean they are a scam).  Keycoin devs, on the other hand, have been delivering on their promises.

I'm guessing you lost money on Crypt.  Shoot, if you consider every coin that you lose money on a scam, then I don't know if you know the definition of scam.  Losing money is a risk you take.  Doesn't mean someone out there is intently trying to take your money from you.

I wouldn't buy any coin this group is creating, so no, you guess wrong, I lost no money on cryptcoin. You do realise this is same group as the cryptcoin group?  you realise pr0m was involved in cryptcoin too from an early stage?

Maybe they have hired different devs, but its still the same initiators and methods.

Ok, then I'd like to know why you care so much if you're not involved in either coin at all?  You're sure spending a lot of time and energy to scare people away for someone who is just a mere spectator of the two cryptos.

Also, we are all aware of Pr0m's involvement.  He was very public about that.  One thing all Fudders fail to mention is that it's really the Crypt dev's fault the coin turned out the way it is.  The dev just never delivered.  You act like Pr0m had any control over that.  He was not a dev, just a big investor and supporter.

Oh wow, looks like every Fudder in the history of keycoin's 4 week existence is here to take a stab. To people who are not aware, these guys have been proven wrong over and over again. Do your research before selling your coins cheap.
293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [KEY] KeyCoin | Fair Launch | Daily Updates | 8/6 KeyOS Update on: August 07, 2014, 11:22:29 AM
I never followed Crypt, but from what I can gather, their dev have not updated on progress or delivered anything in awhile. This is NOT the case with keycoin devs. Look at the facts guys.
294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [KEY] KeyCoin | Fair Launch | Daily Updates | 8/6 KeyOS Update on: August 06, 2014, 08:50:50 PM
To people who are selling now - YOU ARE DOING IT WRONG.

Yeah, why anyone would sell at this point and with the recent update from the devs is beyond me.  It's either people still don't trust the devs to deliver (which is silly, because they have delivered on every promise up to this point) or they don't do their research.  I don't know.  I really don't get how people think sometimes lol.

And I sold 50 KEY for 0.0001 BTC. Too sad Sad

You can buy back now before the ann
Buy them at 0.0019 each? Too high. I thought this wouldn't have future xD

Well obviously you thought wrong

Well it might have something to do with people thinking it's too late to buy in. I think some people don't see the long term potential of this coin. It's already got such a great foundation and as long as this beast of a dev team keep it up, I honestly see this coin being worth $20-50 per coin within a year or so.   Maybe in even less time.

A year is too long in crypto land. Look near term: see the 10 coins above keycoin on coinmarketcap.com? Keycoin is far superior to all of those! If it moves up 10 spots we are looking at .006 price range. But why would it stop there? With functioning anonymity, a huge active development team, ambitious plans - why shouldn't keycoin could reach the height of a few of its anon peers like XC, MRO, CLOAK? Which would put the price around .01

A five bagger from current price? Man how sweet will that be.

Yes, for sure short term (within a few weeks or so) keycoin is almost bound to reach market cap of cloak and XC. But long term (within 6 months to a year), it has a very real potential of reaching at least DRK's market cap, I think.

I love how it's so obvious that all of these FUDs are actually personal attacks from people who are pissed because they lost money.  Therefore, they are all highly biased.

All while Keycoin has been reviewed and rated by unbiased, independent sources. Hopefully anyone who is reading all this and is skeptical is smart enough to see that.

I do wish that some of the major supporters of keycoin had not been involved with certain other coins that failed, so we didn't get so much damn annoying FUD attacks. But I've done my research and if you think about it, it's really not their fault. It's just part of the game. So you fudders really need to move on with your life. Like the saying goes: don't hate the player, hate the game.
299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [KEY] KeyCoin | Fair Launch | Daily Updates | 8/3 Video, CoinsSource on: August 04, 2014, 01:53:24 AM

1.  Keycoin had an incredibly fair launch.  Verified by independent sources
2.  Developers have been vetted by Coinssource, with a review article about Keycoin
3.  Both the development team and the Keycoin code have been reviewed, verified and praised by Dan Metcalf, the developer of XCurrency
4.  Since the launch on July 15, devs have posted/updated about progress everyday and has been delivering on every promise thus far

1. check

2. wtf is COINSOURCE?
"-The owner of the website is using a service to hide their identity
-This website is 168 Days old"

3. Well and why not Mindfox? You all trust him...

4. check

Ok, so at least you agree with half of the facts.  I guess that's a start.

To answer your first question, Coinssource is an independent reviewer of cryptocurrency that has gained a lot of trust and popularity in the community.  They also just started their Trust Index system to help people avoid the huge amount of scams out there.  So far Keycoin has received a trust index of 6/7, and will receive a 7/7 when the final step is completed (which takes a few weeks).

To answer your second question, It's actually pretty funny. The reason Dan Metcalf was chosen to review the code in the first place was because the original FUD was that keycoin just simply copied and pasted from XC's code.  Dan's review showed that this was not the case.  He even went as far as saying keycoin's code is "highly modified and unique" from XC's code.  He also commented on how organized and professional the dev team was when they presented the code to him.

Just really shows no matter how hard the devs try, there will always be some idiot out there to try screw things up for everyone.  And people wonder why there are so many "shitcoins" out there and why certain devs eventually give up.  Way to go community.

God, I feel like my IQ is just dropping with each post.

To all reading, here are several facts that remain after all this FUD:

It's unfortunate that some people don't look at the facts and are too easily scared away by all these Fudders.  I haven't heard a single Fudder address these facts so far.  Why? because they know they can't.
