I buy only Android. I understand that many people like iOS, but I don’t. Because Android is much freer than iOS
262  Other / Off-topic / Re: VPN for Netflix watching on: November 21, 2019, 06:37:11 AM
I use CyberGhost, they have special servers for viewing Netflix. I think this is the fastest VPN you can find.

I can give you a direction to search: Atmospheric electricity from a potential difference. Electricity from ether.

But this information is not so accessible. Our worlds are currently ruled by those who do not want this information to reach people.
264  Other / Off-topic / Re: What will happen when we will die ? on: November 15, 2019, 12:23:17 AM
No kidding, most esoteric teachings and religions come to the conclusion that when we die, we just get rid of our physical body. Then it is separated from other bodies (the astral body and others, there are 7 of them, as far as I remember). In short, we are returning to our incomprehensible beginning. Then again, a particle from this common principle is introduced into a new body. But this is not always so, also the soul can go to higher levels of knowledge. Therefore, I think reincarnation is the most rational conclusion. The energy is infinite, the soul cannot just disappear (lose its potential).
265  Other / Archival / Re: Best Laptop for crypto? on: October 31, 2019, 04:58:26 PM
I understand that you want to buy a laptop, not a full-fledged PC. But I strongly recommend to use a PC, because this way you save a lot of money when you buy it. In addition, the PC is easier to repair or upgrade. But if you still want a laptop (for business trips or whatever, to always have a laptop with you), then I advise you to take not the cheapest, but not the most expensive. Your option is the middle segment. A laptop with average characteristics is quite enough for all tasks related to crypto. I use a rather average old laptop and I've never had any problems with this. And yet, there is no difference which model or company of the laptop you buy, they are all about the same. I hope it helps you to choose the best optin for you!
266  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Have you ever been stolen or lost your BTC? on: October 17, 2019, 03:09:45 PM
Recently I've heard someone's speech about keeping BTC on the exchange is not safe. But the same thing may be fair to other types of wallets — it's all about the pros and cons, isn't it?
There must be a comparison based on the number of incidents, statistics, etc.
I mean, ok, let's consider this article as a detailed guide for different types of wallets — there's an explanation, principles of working, advantages and disadvantages — but how do you actually know, which wallet will be safe? How did you choose your current wallet?

Where do you keep crypto? Have you ever been stolen?
267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / How do you choose DEX? How to avoid scam? on: October 16, 2019, 03:46:30 PM
I'd like to discuss DEX exchanges and its variety.
There are many of it, and top-lists of top DEX exchanges are appearing often as well (here's an example for 2019). After reading one of the latest articles about it, I started to think -- there's too much info and not all of it is trustworthy. Reading reviews, comparing fees... I'd like to know which DEX platform you use and how did you make a decision about it?
Could you tell if you stick to one particular platform or use several of them? What criteria did you rely on?
268  Other / Off-topic / Re: How one person can change the world. on: October 08, 2019, 12:17:14 PM
Before I even finished reading the name of the topic I knew it's going to be about that girl.
How dare you
I think she's totally not the ONE person behind this speech. That might be a profitable move from a group of activists, political, etc. I'm interested to see what'll happen next.
269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Libra the new crypto king on: October 08, 2019, 12:10:16 PM
Got me thinking.
You know, there's an F-word. So I think there should be an L-word.
F - for Facebook.
L - for Libra. Sorry Smiley

And to the topic - Libra is just trying to get attention, but no one actually taking it seriously. Even PayPal, as someone noticed above, refused from a partnership with L.
270  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Religion of Peace? Why Religion At All on: October 08, 2019, 11:58:44 AM
It's easy in today's world to blame Islam of backwards savagery against women, children, etc. Yet this is still protected by the left?

Why? When at the same time Christianity is under attack in the modern political and social climate. Other than the obvious propagation of pedophilia by the Catholic church, Christians' rape and pillaging days are over for the most part.

Other than instinctual human greed, religion has caused more conflict in human history than anything else. Why do we still need it? Are there any merits left?

I understand a common argument here may be that it instills fear in common folk and helps to provide them a reason to behave but we shouldn't need the fear of deities smiting us to act as a normal citizen and respect others' rights. You can also be a hopeful human being without religion. This is not a debate of "not all the religious folk are bad eggs" the debate here is why it still exists in any form in the year 2019.

Well if this isn't about 'not all the religious folk are bad eggs', then it's about people who need to believe in something, and the exact year doesn't matter. Some human thing gives individual internal support. After all, there's a fear of death.

Despite all the occasions, even the horrible ones.
271  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Coinexchange.io is Closing Down. Official announcement. on: October 04, 2019, 09:15:39 AM
It is actually a bit funny to see how this thread existing next to the other one, where people discussing 'too many exchanges' problem.
Speaking on the topic - it's sad, but not surprising.
272  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is Global Warming Real? on: September 30, 2019, 04:29:34 PM
Some people believe that global warming is just the conspiracy to control the development of industrial country. Sometime, I think so. What about you?

I think it's real. As real as our Milky Way is going to collapse w/ Andromeda in several billions of years. See where I'm getting at?
