bitcoin would be the last target if quantum becomes a real contender , but they need many many more qubits , but that aside if that power existed the most valuable target would be the worlds encryption security , basically could crack any security encryption you could probably manipulate the stock market and steal/corrupt/change just about any digital communication so just about 90% of our lives the other 10% is sleep  |

out of the 9 i bought on ebay the most expensive one was 224 shipped, and it was a 14th model
most of the s9 boards were between 600-631 factory set frequency
some of them had 632-665 ish frequency settings and hash a bit better and at lower temps doing 15-16 @ 84c vs the lower freq doing 13-14 @ 88c
i have only gotten one miner with a bad board, could have been dropped or something but the other 2 boards are going strong and i just got a board for 70 free shipping off ebay
i could use the shipping ins but kids got to the package materials before i could take lots of picts so doubtful ups will refund, they did offer to pickup the damaged miner and attempt
to fix or determine the damage , ill prob just take the loss and move on

I have 100+ S9 miners from different batches starting from 2016 and ending with 2019 s9j/s9k models. So i can compare them. by the way, BOS still not showing chip temp on some S9 models from 2016/2017 batches.
Bitmain FW has temp cut value close to 110C, why BOS set 95C is not clear for me, my miners work for years in summer over 100C without issues.
At the end, bitmain fw stops mining process when you hit 110C, but BOS just restarts miner when you are close to 95C = which leads to infinite miner restarts - which kills hashboards also. So this is real problem which should be addressed.

My 2 t17e units shipped today the 12th 2 days late
they ship from malaysia should mean only 2.6% tax vs 27.6%
If bitmain does that they are good to go. It is a guess at best.
teslawatt has the gear in hand zero trump tax. At least buy 1 or 2 of them from him.
i dont think anyone has the s17+ 74 th model yet , every supplier has only offered the pre-order for dec 21-31 ship date, i just haven't found a miner with the hashrate/power/price, to match up, the efficiency is really what i need as we all do |

im on the cusp of ordering through the guys at teslawatt as they are offering the miner
@ 2111.00 +250 = $2361.00 shipped for the s17+ 74th @ 2900 watts +/- 5% ish
not sure if i should just pick up some of the available s17's or other gear, maybe someone will post some s17e's
space is no issue , power at 7c per kwh running off peak 18 hrs a day,
i also was going to pick up some cheep s9's on ebay got last one for 177$ shipped 650 freq boards doing 15.5

when i underclock them i can only get it to go to 200, do you want a command to shut off cg miner and put the fans to lowest pwm setting ? |

a prerequisite for obtaining a better result is the BIOS firmware flashing. This can be called one of the conditional minuses of AMD cards, due to which some miners choose NVidia  Hive OS has several important advantages over windows , might try usb boot to see if it yields results your looking for |
