We could possibly be witnessing a Darkcoin rival here in the making. We have faith in you, altsecure!
First PoS coin with anonymous transfer! Will be huge. yes, buy some XC coin now, still cheap. Lets hope we beat libertycoin. Libertycoin has quite a different community. I haven't seen any FUD here. This will certainly change once we get in sight... but still XLC is different I think. They talk much and give less results. Here it is different. I'm part of both and most of my money is in XC so... Maybe you are happy? XC is surely watched by some guys. I find the announcements from IE very strange: When the dev here said, that 50% of the work is done, IE said the same for XLB. Now the dev says that it's almost done... and guess what IE says for Libertysend? |

Just a sneakpeak on what you are working on is fine also.
That makes the story a bit more solid as its vapourware now
sneak peak will be working LINUX wallet :-) how many coins you think we will get in PoW stage. polo is not staking  Exchanges DO NOT stake for several reasons.. besides CPU, staked coins can't be sold or moved as they are held for staking... POW is 100k blocks at 333 coins per block, however POS could reduce it by 50% - so 17M~33.3M Thank you for the information, I just checked your post history. I'm pretty excited. Btw: Can someone tell me, when I will loose the Newbie status? u gotta post a lot, because not every post counts for some reason, i have posted more then whatever my post history is, but after a certain ammount, u will loose that title,no big deal but, a lot of people have been here since the start and just read more then they post like me Thank you guys. But for the moment I agree to Taner: the newbie status serves me well. Anyway, back to topic: when the linux wallet is released I will try it out and give some feedback here. |

have a little faith, this is a sr member, putting his reputation on the line in front of the whole community..think about that, because to some, reputation is worth more then money
right on, well said. I've been into this crypto game a while and this is the first time I feel the dev is true and honest, even though solid info is sparse at this point in time. I for one hold all my xc firmly and hope you all do the same. Aim for the moon brothers. And this is where a regular miner (like me) can actually have more coins than the premine by the dev.... I can't think of a recent coin that I can say that. This coin didn't have instamine like most other coins. The launch was super smooth by a competent dev. That alone is worth so much. Well just wanted to release another update on the wallet... The goal is to release a linux wallet as soon as a few last pieces of code issues are resolved, my hope is that this happens during the next 8 hours or so.. I'll provide another update around 1pm EST on the progress, this release will serve as proof that the anonymous features are actually working and implemented in the code. I've personally already spent a lot of time and money to get this point, money and time that was taken from my family & kids.... If I was to scam people and dump my premine, it would have happened during yesterdays peak... I'm no fool - XC will be huge once this wallet is released and I'm going to see that happen.. but with any venture there is RISK, and personally I feel I'm risking a lot on this project and I know others are as well.. I've hired another DEV to assist with the QT wallet as I simply don't have the bandwidth, the QT wallet is the Windows-GUI wallet.. the Windows Wallet won't be released until after the linux wallet unfortunately... im just trying to think of something that relates to the product and you could actually imagine someone asking in a shop if they accept it, " do you accept Dinero " i'm aware it might be a bit late because of exchanges already having the xc but just throwing it out there, because i can't see someone walking into a shop and asking if they accept xcoin.
so maybe as I said above just call it XC xc is catchy Agree. Better than x11 because it sounds not so technical. |

I'm interested in hearing alternative names for the coin... if the name is to be changed it would be before the anon wallet goes public (non beta)...
Maybe a simple Xcoin since you already have the ticker (dunno if a coin named that has been released yet) and i agree with the dude above me,an Irc channel might be a good idea too. But Darkcoin was Xcoin inits early days if I remember correctly. I think we need something different. |

Hi, I would like to qualify, but I'm not able to compile the source code on Linux (it always went fine for others coins though) . Has anyone managed it?
I am also using linux and have issue compling the source code. You have a sharecoinadress in your signature. How did you mange to get one? I didn't have problems to compile it. Only thing you have to do is on sharecoin-qt.pro to comment the Windows compiling section, like this: # UNCOMMENT THIS SECTION TO BUILD ON WINDOWS

What I owe you ? You might have sent some shit coins which no living human even recognize and someone bought them because it was not their money they were using to buy. I am done paying whatever I could. If I wanted to I would have closed the website without even making it public and took away all the shit altcoins and prove what I have been accused of since past one month. Calm down. I may remind you: I sent coins to your site, after the shit with the hacker happened. This was my fault. But nevertheless you draw me into the shit as well. Same as many other users. You handled it quite unprofessionel because you made people like me pay for the shit which happened before. Perhaps you compare what Poloniex did when they got hacked? So next time when you open an exchange: Think before what you will do, when shit happens and dont make others pay for it because then nobody will trust you anymore. Someone in this thread asked for copycoins of blackcoin. There comes faircoin into my mind. Pretty similiar with a very good distribution of coins among the community - even better than that of blackcoin because there was no initial mining. It's at some 100 satoshi right now...
