This happened to me a month ago. I was selling old collage books and used my old paypal account to receive the money. Ended up waiting 2 weeks for a postcard with a passcode on it to type in to paypal. After that, I finally got my money and it's been fine since!

Get to work bringing NFC to Bitcoin:
http://venturebeat.com/2011/07/13/paypal-android-nfc/

I agree with the first part, Bringing NFC to bitcoin, but not by using paypal. Perhaps some of the current developers of mobile bitcoin apps will implement this awesome technology? Wink

+1 to Viera for selling me a gift code for minecraft. Viera took the plunge and sent the gift code first. They are a model seller and I would be happy to conduct business again! Grin

No, it's should read either "Ver A.1", "Ver A.2" or "Ver A.3" underneath made in china. A.3 is what I have but I'm looking for a 1 or 2.

Thanks  Smiley
1208  Economy / Goods / [WTS] MilSpec cushioned ziplock Anti-Static bags on: July 22, 2011, 11:25:13 AM
I am selling my old Military/Government Grade Antistatic cushioned bags. I bought these 7 years ago to use with my ebay store when selling PC hardware. Well, 7 years later and I still got plenty of these bad boys sitting on my shelf. These bags meet MIL-DTL-81997C milspec (Government or Military Specification) standards and can be used for a number of things including shipping parts, dust-free storage, and as an antistatic bag. Heck I even used one as an external enclosure with an old laptop hard drive and it worked great! No need for tape to seal up the ends as these bags are resealable (zip-lock style).

Dimensions 9"x6.5"

Bags manufactured October of 2003.

0.20 BTC each, US only free shipping!

In stock: 35 EDIT: I ended up finding another in an old box of 56k modems  Cheesy
***Purchasing Steps***
1. PM me with quantity wanted.
2. I will reply with a Price and bitcoin address.
3. You pay the full amount agreed upon in step 2. Once sent, you PM me with your shipping address info.
4. I will confirm that payment has been received and will send proof of shipment. If payment is received on a weekday before 3PM EST, then it will ship same day!

This is kind of thinking a bit into the future, but once you get a good foothold into the UI and features, would you be willing to add QR/NFC support (for reading bitcoin addresses)?
Let me know if you need some Dev links on NFC Wink
1212  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] NFC (Near Field Communication) Stickers on: July 22, 2011, 06:51:53 AM
I updated the original post and cleaned it up a bit. Added another type of NFC tag, the 38mm type. Also added more pics to the above example merchant pad.

Would anyone be interested in a QR code keychain with NFC? The above pic is shopped as an example, but I could post pics of the end product if there is interest.
1213  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: New, simple online wallet: www.instawallet.org - no signup required on: July 22, 2011, 02:00:35 AM
Hello! I was just doing a google search for "bitcoin instawallet" and here are my results per 2 different computers and 1 mobile device. Each with their own different ISP IP.

Computer 1:

Computer 2:

Mobile Phone:

I only bring this up because there is an instawallet publicly visible in a google seach for "bitcoin instawallet". I guess a post here (http://orlingrabbe.com/?p=1476084883) is what caused it to become visible. It might be wise for the creator of instawallet to delete this wallet just in case. Or if there is some sort of way to stop google from displaying instawallet pages in google searches.

Please be advised and DON'T POST YOUR INSTAWALLET URL!

1218  Other / Off-topic / Re: Best way to communicate securely? on: July 18, 2011, 05:55:12 AM
Use 7zip, right click on the folder click add to archive, encrypt it using AES 256-bit and use a really super long complex password. Create an account and Upload it to MegaUpload. Send the link via email. Once they download it, check to see if it was only downloaded 1 time and delete it. Then send password via email.

Both ends must have a secure connection to their email website of course (https://)
1219  Other / Off-topic / Re: Official Swagbucks Thread! on: July 18, 2011, 05:10:42 AM
In this blog post, swagbucks announced that members of the same household as other members are now allowed to participate! The old policy stated that only one account per household was allowed. Now everyone in your household can use swagbucks!
