1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Hydranet - Only Layer 3 DEX. Instant BTC + ETH trading. Do NOT Sleep On This One on: August 11, 2023, 03:39:22 AM
This one, is about one of the most undervalued projects I've been able to find as of lately. When you start researching this one, you can't stop but wonder why this project is valued below 30 mio. marketcap, with these things taken into perspective:

1) They built their own custom multi currency wallet
2) They built the first fully functional Layer 3 DEX
3) Their native token HDN is on arbitrum, holding this token grants smaller trading fees similar to how BNB was built.
4) "Simple Swap" makes it easy for anyone to trade assets on the fly.

Their multi currency light wallet, supporting: ETH, BTC, LTC, USDC, USDT, HDN and many more makes it easy to store + trade all your assets.

The project uses The Lightning Network, and Connext (similar to Lightning, but built for Ethereum), meaning you can trade for PENNIES, pretty much instantlyWink

This means, you can trade native BTC for ETH, without bridging between chains, or by using wrapped assets, such as wBTC.

For anyone who has ever traded on Uniswap, especially during the bullruns, fees can run up to CRAZY amounts, which sucks!

This beast of a DEX is going public this quarter, which is why it has been one of the most appreciating assets over the past weeks

Hydranet is built on Arbitrum. The token itself is not needed to use the DEX, but holders are getting up to 25% fee reduction while trading, which is pretty awesome if you're running bots with huge volume.
The DEX itself will also use the trading fees for buy-backs, similar to how Binance does it. Only difference is, fees collected are used to buy HDN, which is then burned from the total supply.

This one is a hidden gem, the potential here is massive, considering it's insanely low marketcap still. If it gets a marketcap similar to Uniswap eventually, you're looking at $26/token, and that's in a bear market  Wink

The only down side for this project is, that the DEX itself isn't web-based. There's no such thing as web-based Lightning nodes (yet), but who knows, the possibilities are endless.

If you remember the Exodus wallet back in time, where you could swap your coins whenever you felt like it, without KYC - This works practically the same way, using the "Simple Swap" feature, which is for newbies, who don't want to use the actual DEX.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 10 projects that will fly in 2020-2021 on: November 03, 2020, 02:03:52 PM
Great picks.

I'm betting on Blocknet as my "dark horse" among all the alt's for a number of reasons.

1) First DEX to launch on the market back in 2018, not the most known one though, but they've worked A LOT on it, and is soon ready with their Lite wallet which can be used to swap your assets with. Read more here: Xlitewallet.com

Their XRouter is promising since it's basically built the same way Chainlinks Oracle networks is, just WAY more decentralized, meaning: NO KYC, which is pretty promising.
I believe once they start partnering up with other projects, that this one will gather MASSIVE attention.

This one is a gamble, but could pull off more than a 100x conservatively.  Wink
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Blocknet Speculation Thread on: November 03, 2020, 01:58:08 PM
Blocknet is not only a DEX. It`s a platform that connects all blockchains to each other. It will have a vast utility. Blocknet is one of the best projects in the blockchain industry.

Didn't notice this thread ever got a counter reply, but you're right.
Blocknet's DEX is getting more advanced and easier to use. The lite wallet speaks for itself. https://xlitewallet.com/

All the major alt's has taken a beating as of lately versus BTC, but I'm sure we'll see new ATH's for promising alt's soon (including this one). Which would result in more than 100x conservatively imo.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Blocknet solving Ethereums Centralized Data Protocol - Infura on: November 03, 2020, 01:53:32 PM
I would have to agree that this is a very practical use case and problem solving side of blocknet that i was not aware of before, Infact it is really pleasing to know that these independent projects and their developers are working for a bigger cause and providing solutions for ethereum network which is a big achievement in my eyes and for this blocknet should be really appreciated.

Only very very few people know about this, but I'm sure once they're ready and everyone starts taking notice, that Blocknet will get the attention it truly deserves. Meanwhile, I'm accumulating this, hard.  Grin

Nice read.

I've been eyeing Blocknet for a long long time, and believe it's massively undervalued versus what they've built so far.

Their Litewallet looks promising, making BTC trading possible in a decentralized fashion. Uniswap has seen massive success, but doesn't support REAL BTC, nor any other relevant projects like LTC.
It's currently undergoing testing, but the overall design looks promising: https://xlitewallet.com/
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Instant Decentralized Atomic Swaps Like Uniswap - Pretty Interesting on: September 07, 2020, 12:49:01 PM
For anyone who doesn't know, Uniswap has been getting a LOT of hate and frustration lately because of it's dependencies from the ETH network which at this point is very congested and unusable in terms of gas fees beeing insanely high.
We've seen the same with the BTC network, the fees are sometimes through the roof.

Many bandaid solutions have been made, such as wrapped BTC, and Wrapped ETH (wBTC - wETH).

But what if you could trade BTC and ETH INSTANTLY, and with next to 0 fees?

Stakenet is working on a second layer solution, actually working directly with the Lightning Network team, as well as the Raiden Network team to make this possible.

Below is a simple swap feature from their multi currency wallet, which makes you trade instantly, without you even knowing you're using the Lightning Network.

Their DEX works wonders as well, but most of us are still waiting for ETH and all it's tokens to be added, which will make the DEX extremely powerful, as it will allow anyone to trade ETH and all it's tokens instantly.

Think of it like Uniswap, but without the high fees, and transaction times. Wink

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DEX's with MILLIONS in volume, COULD make you stinking rich, here's why. on: July 01, 2020, 12:29:43 AM
Interesting read for sure. Betting on DEX's might actually not be such a bad idea, since I'd imagine it's an ever green market so to say. There will always be people wanting to transact without undergoing KYC, and DEX's is perfect for this.

There's been a lot of talk about regulation, DEX's, DEFI, dApps etc. I'm sure its a wise move to invest in these projects.

The fees collected from the network could grow insanely high to a point where big investors want to join in and get a hold of a few nodes, which would catapult the price upwards like CRAZY.

$100 Blocknet is not too far fetched actually.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Big money moving in next year, means greater demand for DEX projects? on: July 01, 2020, 12:27:25 AM
So I'm pretty convinced that we'll see a mega bull run next year due to the BTC halving. There's probably a LOT of wealthy people looking to invest, if the price starts to skyrocket again, but as we've seen in the past, these people are all about privacy.
Remember the Panama leakage a few years back? https://www.bbc.com/news/live/business-35944255/page/2

Wealthy people is likely to hide a ton of money in crypto, and while you could argue that most of them would hold privacy coins like XMR, there's also a fear that these will be illegal, and delisted/removed from centralized exchanges eventually.

This got me thinking, that perhaps decentralized exchanges where nobody can follow your trading history will get HUGE demand.
So perhaps it's not a bad idea to look into projects like Blocknet for the next bull run? If these DEX's takes off, the coin itself will be highly sought after.

Thoughts?

Well Next year at the time of this post was suppose to be this year for the mega bull run, but for some unforseen circumstances the btc halving did not witness such huge mega run at least not yet, we are at the end of quarter 2, still have 2 more quarters to go, so hopefully the after effect of btc halving will be at or towards the end of the year just like that of 2017,

But till now Decentralize exchange have not receive so much attention like centralize exchange, although there are new more dex lately than before but the demand still not as high as cex.

Rome wasn't built in a day.

The BTC halving WILL have a positive effect on the BTC price moving forward, but we need to be patient for it. Same for DEX's. DEX's has 10xed their volume the past year, and the amount of people trading is increasing month after month.

A year ago the Blocknet DEX had like $100 in volume/day at the very max. Recently they've hovered around $2k - $10k... Some days MUCH higher. More and more people is starting to wake up to the fact that centralized exchanges is NOT safe to trade on.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Lightning DEX now plugged into Binance to ensure liquidity. HUGE NEWS! on: June 25, 2020, 06:28:20 PM
The last part sure is a mind-blowing statement.

But I'm not that kind of person that depends on those words. As I can see, there are two exchanges where XSN is listed. And when your DEX comes then I guess most of the traders for those two exchanges will go the DEX as part of support and comfortability trading their own token.

Where's the link that Binance acknowledges the LA tech of XSN?

You don't need to own XSN in order to use their products. All trading fees will be sold for XSN on the open market, creating MASSIVE buy pressure for the coin itself when volume picks up.

If you decide to trade BTC for LTC, it benefits the Stakenet network, no matter what you trade actually, it benefits the whole network.

Stakenet is using Binance's API (used by trading bots as well) so essentially you'll be able to trade on all exchanges from your own wallet.

Stakenet might not be listed on a lot of exchanges, there's no need right now as the DEX is being rolled out shortly.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Intelligent Masternodes? on: June 24, 2020, 06:24:26 PM
Intelligent masternodes is something I've never dealt with, but it sure sounds interesting. Traditional masternode projects tend to be looked at as "scams" as they serve NO purpose.

I like the fact that these masternodes are put to work, and actually provides services. It's a cool concept.

More and more projects actually starts using their masternode networks as "service centers" so to speak. It's pretty cool since it's decentralized and easily accessible for the people needing the services.

Stakenet's use case is MASSIVE though, and can't be compared with any other project out there. Node owners will surely make a killing in fees long term.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Lightning Network - Thoughts? on: June 19, 2020, 01:00:23 PM
The lack of adoption of Lightning network is as a result to poor marketing, this is what Ethereum does better than any project in the space, I think the team think they only need to build the network and users would rush using it when there are many competing solutions in the space.

There has been very little marketing thus far, but mind you I believe it will pick up, once the tech is easily accessible for the "average Joe"
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Stakenet - Next short term 10x - Here's why. on: June 19, 2020, 12:58:01 PM
Never heard of this project before, but it sure as hell sound promising. When is the DEX scheduled for launch?

I don't believe there is a specific launch date as of yet, but we're getting VERY close based on the recent dev updates Smiley
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Stakenet's Lightning DEX In Action Arbitraging Straight From Binance! on: June 17, 2020, 06:29:02 PM
I'm sure the whole "package"/product will be out real soon. I'm so freaking excited, and using every opportunity to scoop up more while it's this cheap!  Cheesy
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Lightning Network - Thoughts? on: June 17, 2020, 06:21:51 PM
It's indeed a very interesting approach they've going on here, and from the tests I've seen on the DEX itself, I can safely say that it's going to be a game changer.

Anyone will be able to trade freely, instantly, and with very low fees, between all their favourite coins and tokens, doesn't get any more convienent than that!
each exchange has a different advantage. some have a large list of assets. of course, that means there is support from many communities. There are also few assets but with low transaction costs. but DEX always provides the best for daily traders who want to buy and sell quickly and in high volume.

You'll be able to buy from centralized exchanges via the Stakenet DEX. It runs through an API, so you can arbitrage back and forth, instantly over the Lightning Network. It's gonna be a real game changer, no doubt.
it looks like in the future this kind of trading will indeed be very in demand. all traders are looking for profit, and now we can see ways to make a profit more easily.

Definitely. Trading needs to be  a EASILY accessible for everyone, which is what Binance did back when they launched. Their exchange got popular because it was easy to navigate a part from alle the marketing efforts.

When you look at how smooth the DEX works, there's no doubt that it will be a massive game changer for people looking to trade on DEX's either manually or with trading bots.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Blocknet] truly decentralized exchange | token ecosystem infrastructure on: June 14, 2020, 09:33:45 AM
BLOCK is now available to trade on Finexbox: https://finexbox.com/market/pair/BLOCK-BTC.html  Finexbox supports US traders (no KYC or withdrawal limits) Get trading!

Be aware with Finexbox, one of the most opaque exchanges out there, with lot of directly false volume and quite high withdrawal fees. And remember, not your keys not your crypto.

The community asked for a KYC free CEX, and they got it. You can always use Blocknet DX platform if you want to trade trustlessly, but some people prefer the "easy" route and make use of CEX's.

It's a good move, Blocknet definitely needs more exchanges.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Blocknet's DEX and Xrouter. Might Peak Next Bull Run. $100 Blocknet Speculation. on: June 14, 2020, 09:30:02 AM
Once Blocknet's Litewallet is released, which is a multi currency wallet with 1-click atomic swap trading from the integrated DEX by Blocknet. I'm sure volume will pick up.

Looks fucking sick. I believe once DEX  trading becomes as easy as CEX trading that we'll see a transition of people moving from CEX's to DEX's in a slow steady flow.

I'd love to try this wallet, as I pretty much use standalone GUI wallets for all my coins as it is right now.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DEX's with MILLIONS in volume, COULD make you stinking rich, here's why. on: June 14, 2020, 09:27:21 AM
The best DEX is ViteX built on Vite (this is DAG project, like IOTA but with smartcontract). And they share 90% of revenue from trading fees to token holders (10% for owners). And this DEX is for multi blockhains.
Have you heard about uniswap, it's a dex exchange, currently lots of coins in there are doing x5 - 100, to me its consider the best Dex for now because it's really easy to navigate through, lots of people have been made awesomely rich from that exchange

Only thing I know about it, is that you cannot trade BTC on it, which is the main pair for everything no matter where you go. It's great to see that it has a lot of volume though, as it means there is demand for trustless trading. Blocknet being one of the most decentralized in existence.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Big money moving in next year, means greater demand for DEX projects? on: June 14, 2020, 09:21:30 AM
The idea that Privacy lovers can start using Dex exchanges more than any is highly possible but not all privacy coins will be delisted from Centralized exchanges, and again pray that this never happens, privacy coins are lagging presently and if eventually every single one of them get delisted from Centralized exchanges there will be problem, why? Dex has no good volume, bad experience overall, low Liquidity and Dex doesn't solve hacks

I see nothing wrong with delisting private coins from centralized exchanges. Any centralized exchange contradicts the ideology of private coins. I think it will be good if they are used for what they were created for - which means they will go past centralized exchanges and will be used directly by people.

That's true, but there aren't really that many people who transact between each other, so privacy orientated coins fits nicely on decentralized exchanges.

That is not the point here. Whether they do buy privacy coin or simply BTC alone. They need to be anonymous and skip KYC no matter what and if they stay in centralize exchange, they are required the mandatory submission to KYC/AML which in turn doesn't make them anonymous.

They can be anonymous buying just about any coins as long as they are in the DEX which is why they need to move out from CEX. And if all these takes place, the liquidity could improve to be enough for good trading volume.

You can easily buy BTC locally if you want to skip KYC/AML. The biggest problem is CEX's demanding KYC just after opening an account. Regulation has definitely gotten a lot worse, and will continue to be tightened.

DEX's fit the gap pretty nicely, as if you already got a position in crypto right now, you can transact freely without anyone knowing what you hold.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto regulations still have a chance? on: June 09, 2020, 06:14:06 AM
Many people belief that the only solution crypto space needed is regulations, what will this solve? The biggest crypto problem is scammers, how can regulations cure this disease? Because regulations can only work on centralized exchanges and projects, what do you think? Drop your thoughts and let's hear you out?

You cannot regulate crypto, it wasn't meant to be regulated from the get-go, and due to it's decentralized nature, you wont see any real regulations either. Regulations will be from exchanges, but we've got great DEX's such as Stakenets Lightning DEX, which is by far the most promising one I've seen so far!
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Stakenet's Lightning DEX In Action Arbitraging Straight From Binance! on: June 09, 2020, 06:09:59 AM
So this means that you can aribitrage from multiple exchanges in a trustless manner. This project better deliver, and soon. I'm ready!  Grin
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Stakenet - Next short term 10x - Here's why. on: June 05, 2020, 09:34:01 AM
Usually small coins that their only advantage is "high income with PoS mining" are only pump and dump...
Lightning Network didn't prove itself as a game changer until now... too much hype in my opinion.

Stakenet is building an ECO-system of dApps, which will run on Stakenet masternodes. These dApps can be used whether you own XSN or not, it's not the point. The point is, the fees generated from the users is sold, and instantly turned into XSN to distribute to the node owners. This will artificially jack up the price of the coin itself. There's so much to say about this project, and it really blows my mind that nobody seems to pay attention to it yet. I'm sure it's gonna blow up one day.
