1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CAN RIPPLE SURVIVE? on: February 19, 2021, 12:07:53 PM
Ripple (XRP) has been suffering series of hindrances from regulatory body (The US SEC) since late last year. The attack led to a litigation in a US court leading to panic sales of XRP from majority of their investors. The litigation in the US saw the co-founder of XRP who happens to be the CEO of Stellar XLM sold his XRP. This created more fear among the investors before XRP started to gain the market loss back in January.

Another report came out a week ago that the UK treasury has classified XRP as non-security asset and this is different from the law suit by the US SEC filed against XRP.

Will this mean the XRP might be back to it's position in the Cryptocurrency community soon?

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Ripple said this Monday,Feb. 15, 2021 that there’s little chance of settlement ahead of the expected trial of the blockchain payments firm (XRP) over alleged securities infractions. and Ripple has refused to comply saying the documents fall under attorney-client privilege and that the SEC’s request is “improper and lacks legal foundation.” The SEC may ask the court to compel Ripple to provide documents and related deposition testimony, the regulator said in the letter. But the fate of XRP will not depend on that, it will surely depends on the people who still believe in it.
2  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How much did you make in Bitcoin trading? on: February 17, 2021, 10:35:16 AM

Things are going back to March 13, 2020, the second day of the 312 crash. I personally watched Bitcoin fall to 3,800 U.S. dollars, which is a few hundred U.S. dollars per second. I was shocked, because in my trading history , I’ve never seen the btc so low before, not to mention that there are only two months left before the 512 reduction

If you're being impatient on your Bitcoin investment you'll do a short trading/day trading which I think is not that profitable compared to long trading/holding but it really depends on the person and how good he/she is on handling investments. FUD is really a patience killer so better DYOR (do your own research) at all times.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Here's my two cents for Dogecoin on: February 15, 2021, 01:23:59 PM
A quick definition of what DOGE is: Dogecoin (DOGE) is a digital cryptocurrency with the same algorithm and technical parts as Litecoin, meaning that all modifications and updates made to it will also be done to Dogecoin. It is a peer-to-peer network that allows its users to send money online easily. Dogecoin right from its launch has become very much significant in the crypto world. It is primarily used for tipping users on Reddit and Twitter, but can also be a method of payment by a few dozen merchants around the world.

In spite of its humble beginnings, Dogecoin is undoubtedly a very serious platform with plenty of high-tech surprises to show. Set up to reach a broader demographic scope than Bitcoin. Furthermore, Dogecoin was an alternative for those who rejected cryptocurrencies from the mainstream.

Dogecoin has proved to be one of the best coins in the market and one that’s usually associated with non-profit organizations and charity fundraising. The digital currency has probably the most devoted and responsible community. Dogecoin is all about goodwill and promoting charity.

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: btc vs ethereum on: February 13, 2021, 07:47:54 AM
bitcoin is techically more superior then ETH ,yes but the use cases are bigger for etheruem now!

real utility for ETH ARE BIGGER.

ETH: defi, icos, dapps, stable coins.
also the very good liquitity !!

BITCOIN ?

yes you can buy thigns with btc but so you can do with ETH.

BTC & ETH are both digital currencies, but the primary purpose of ether is not to establish itself as an alternative monetary system, but rather to facilitate and monetize the operation of the Ethereum smart contract and decentralized application (dapp) platform. Ethereum is another use-case for a blockchain that supports the Bitcoin network, and theoretically should not really compete with Bitcoin. However, the popularity of ether has pushed it into competition with all cryptocurrencies, especially from the perspective of traders.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which stablecoin is best? on: February 11, 2021, 02:07:02 PM
I used to use USD tether all the time and still using it for trading purposes and liquidity purpose but recently we have seen a FUD or may be truth that SEC may have issue against them although they clarified that they are running it under registered business etc etc. Is tether risky from that purpose? Even if SEC warrant something like XRP, what will happen to Tether?
What about another alternative stablecoin?

SEC issue on XRP is different and in fact, they're on the 3-day winning streak against SEC and I think that's the reason why XRP is now on its way to $0.6. Ripple price is on its way to posting a 3rd straight day of gains after an intraday violation of the 0.50650 resistance. The active candle needs to close above this resistance with a 3% penetration to confirm the breakout.
6  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How did YOU start trading in bitcoin? on: February 05, 2021, 12:45:49 PM
Hello everyone!  Grin
I am a starting player at the BTCitcoin trading world- haven't bought any yet.
Just a young man looking for investing his money from high school, and I don't know where to start! Smiley

How did you start trading in bitcoin?
How could I do that too?
Do you have any tips for begginers?

 Huh

Happy 2021 -Tzutzik

Here's my top 3 tips every beginner should understand about Bitcoin
[1] Study about Bitcoin - The first and the foremost thing that every novice should do is the study entirely about bitcoins. Getting to know all the details about cryptocurrency and bitcoins becomes important when you are investing in it for the first time.

[2] Understanding the transaction process - The very first time you create your Bitcoin wallet, you will be given a private key that can be used to access your data. As a beginner, you must understand that all the information related to your money will be available on the public ledger, and nothing is going to be confidential. Only the username and the password of the Bitcoin wallet will be e kept as private information. So, you must not be surprised if the transactions that you are getting displayed on the dashboard of the public ledger.

[3] Do not be surprised if you lose the Bitcoin - Sometimes the price of the BTC can drop down immediately, and you may incur losses, and your Bitcoin wallet can go to negative. Do not be surprised, or do not even panic! This is how Bitcoin works, and as you start mining, the more you get the hang of all these things easily.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH keep breaking record and what happened to BCH? on: February 03, 2021, 12:09:49 PM
Will ETH break it to 2k?? and does anyone know what is going on with BCH? it's basically the only coin from the top ten lists that haven't raised and still remember when it always been higher than ETH, but now... Huh

Corrections are over, it's time for ETH to shine! I guess ETH can hit the $2k resistance before this week ends or maybe by next week, hopefully there's no sell pressure happen. And speaking of BCH, no wonder why BCH doesn't have any impactful movement because their blockchain is still slow.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 99% money in Crypto is dumb money. They buy expensive shitcoins on: February 02, 2021, 11:21:46 AM
I get so mad at this. I made x50 on a lot of projects like Link, Verge, Aave(ETHLEND), Nano, and I know other crypto billionaires did the same way before me on BTC and ETH and even Doge.

But the reason we made these insane profits is we bought projects CHEAP. None of the crypto billionaires bought projects EXPENSIVE. Like Ripple, ETH, Link or Doge are now.

If you want to make $500k from $1000 you need to buy EARLY projects before they are big. And that is the beauty of crypto. Even the poor guy can make a fortune if he spots the rights projects while they are still cheap.

Like KoinOS which was made by the Steem DEVS (they had a hostile takeover by Justin Sun from TRX and were so mad they started Koinos). Koinos is still at only $0.03 a coin with a marketcap of around $3 million. Its CLEAR this will go to $50m or even more. So for every $1000 you put in you will get $50k$ back if it succeeds. I dont see how it cant succeed with having some of the best blockchain devs in their team.

Same for BANANO which is a fork of Nano. Nano(RAIBLOCKS) was distributed for free here on Bitcointalk back in the day. But now its expensive. However Bananao is still cheap at only ~ 2 Million Market cap also. Why would you buy NANO now??? I see people on reddit shill Nano to death but why? Because they got Nano for 1 cent? Well do you really think that will benefit you? How about buying Banano now for 1 cent Huh?

Why do people in crypto not get this? If you want to get rich with ETH it would need to go to $3mil for 1 eth. Or you will have needed to buy ETH for $0.25 as many did.

Buying ETH now for $1300? Lol Whats the point? Ok maybe it can go to $3000 and you gain about 150% but what about those who bought it for $0.25 gaining 10029292010% ? Dont you want the same? So look at KoinOS and Banano and other promising LOW MARKETCAP PROJECTS.

So you're suggesting to buy some coin/token while it's on ICO price? We all know that buying those "LOW MARKETCAP PROJECTS" is just nonsense. I only trust these coins/tokens: BTC , ETH , XRP , LTC , BCH .
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading Or Invest ? on: February 01, 2021, 02:17:21 PM
When the altcoin price was experiencing a positive change I was confused ... whether to invest or trade directly ..
your advice is advice to me .. thank you

There's no certain time on when will the alts or even main coins/tokens will become positive to be honest. Some alts are worth trading like shorting everyday, some are good for holding and selling when the right time comes, some are good on both (ex. BTC, ETH & XRP). In short, you can do both but make sure you already know what coins/tokens to invest. Always buy the dips and have a lot of patient. Buy low, sell high, that's the most common word for trading, also make sure you store your crypto on a right & safe wallet.
10  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you using a trading bot? on: January 29, 2021, 01:17:46 PM
I'm using BitUniverse's Grid Trading Bot, and I think it's really good to buy low and sell high everyday for me, cause the market is fluctuating recently. More importantly, it's totally free and supports 20+ exchanges like Binance. Any more bots are you using? Please recommend.  Huh
I am currently using KuCoin's Trading Bot, you can access it on your mobile phone through app. Pairs like BTC & ETH have a very low minimum investment on KuCoin Trading Bot. They have Telegram Group where you can freely ask anything about how their trading bot work.
11  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does Trading have an advantage over investing?? on: January 29, 2021, 10:21:09 AM
Trading or investing ..does Trading pay more than investing
You mean trading or hodling? Of course trading is much profitable than just investing onto something and sell it when you see some potential profit. I mean trading coins/tokens with the simple rule (buy low sell high) is much better coz' you'll earn daily.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Is this the right time to buy? on: January 28, 2021, 12:11:15 PM
I need some advice, I had some crypto a few years ago and then sold it and made some good profits and I am now planning to buy some crypto once again and I admit that I am outdated on the crypto world right now. Can someone give a brief explanation of what DeFi is and what are your top 5 coins/tokens and where do you usually trade it. Thanks!  Wink
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi Tokens on: January 27, 2021, 09:40:27 AM
Hello guys, I'm on a low budget right now and looking for Tokens/Crypto that would be really good to invest on. Recently, I was looking for DeFi tokens and kept my eye on Fantom and SushiSwap. But right now, I think I can afford and buy more Fantom once the price got lower.

Do you still have other suggestions or ideas that you think might work on investing DeFi tokens? What are the good DeFi tokens that you think that would be profitable in the next few years?
I do have SUSHI and FTM holding/trading on KuCoin right now. Both have good reputation and trading volume on KuCoin coz' they have their very own DeFi Trading Markets and I guess your right 'bout Fantom, wait for dips before you buy coz' FTM might get some correction around this week. Anyways, if you want other tokens aside from DeFi's I suggest you to check XRP, ETH & LTC.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are you guys trading today? on: January 25, 2021, 02:12:58 PM
Bitcoin (BTC) continues to be stagnant at $32k giving time for some alts to recover at a certain level where they can compete like Polkadot (DOT) and Chainlink (LINK). Ethereum (ETH) still on its streak of going up maybe going after an all new ATH. But the real competition starts with top 4 to 10 giving them more chance to gain resistance at this stagnant market. What are you guys trading today?  Huh
Today or currently I only trade three Altcoins, Ethereum, Link and LTC, besides that I only keep temporary assets in USDT because now the average increase in Altcoins has started to be high so it is not suitable to buy at the current price.
I guess this stagnant market will soon experience some sort of correction coz' we experience almost 2 months of being bullish. We never know when will the bear market comes. So Hodling might be a good idea for now, but you can always buy the dips if you have the opportunity. Well for me I just hodl my LINK, DOT & ETH on crypto exchange (KuCoin) so I can easily trade if the profit comes clearer.
