1  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Question about futures on: March 04, 2024, 09:02:16 PM
If bitcoin is at $60000 and you long it with 3x, the liquidation would be around $40000. If you can take the risk, you can go for it.

Hi, what calculation did you do to find the liquidation price please?

It is simple.

Bitcoin price at $60000 and you open 3x long position.

$60000 ÷ 3 = $20000

$60000 - $20000 = $40000 which is the liquidation price.

There would be a slight difference on the exchange and that is how exchanges are. You can see the liquidation price slightly closer but of very little difference from your calculation. On some exchanges, the liquidation price may be slightly be farther because the exchange keep some money for you instead of using all to open a position.

Ok thank you very much

3  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Questions about perpetual trading on: February 17, 2024, 07:42:29 AM
Thank you all for responding, from what I understand with no leverage I could be liquidated if I short the market but not if I long
4  Economy / Trading Discussion / Questions about perpetual trading on: February 15, 2024, 06:31:58 PM
Hi everyone,

I have 2 questions about perpetual trading:

1/ If I don't use leverage (i.e. x1) do I risk being liquidated if my trade doesn't go in the right direction?

2/ If I don't use leverage (i.e. x1) can I keep a BTC contract, how can I do this in the Spot market?

Thank you
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / I have 2 questions that bother me on: May 05, 2023, 06:45:48 PM
Hi everyone,

1/ Who determines the price of a token at launch?
For example, the SUI token cost a few cents in pre-sale and was listed at almost $1.50 on the Binance listing

2/ In your experience, is it a good idea to buy a chip the second it is listed for a profit?

Thanks for clarifying.

Hello and thank you.. nice work!

Do you know why when I click on the "Please add currencies" button, it loads indefinitely while remaining at 0%?

THANKS
Got the same problem too on the Windows application
It was a nice tool, but It looks abandoned as the last update was on 23rd May 2023 - https://github.com/Escaflownevan/crypTrax

I am thinking of opening an issue, but it's less likely that Escaflownevan might even work on it.

Thank you for your message... yes it's really sad because this application was very well done

9  Economy / Service Discussion / Which app or software to track gains and losses? on: May 02, 2023, 11:32:20 AM
Hello everyone,

When I buy a crypto on the Binance spot market, the % gain/loss and the $ gain/loss amount do not appear like on the future market.

Do you know of any application or software that does this by manually entering the purchase price and the amount of crypto purchased?

Thank you for your understanding.
10  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade with Binance's "Convert" tool for $0 fees? on: May 02, 2023, 11:12:33 AM
Hello, and thank you to all of you, I see more clearly.. I didn't know there were hidden costs.

Indeed you are right, as a trader, you have to use stop losses which do not exist with the "Convert" tool.

Thanks again
11  Economy / Trading Discussion / Trade with Binance's "Convert" tool for $0 fees? on: May 01, 2023, 11:09:16 PM
Hello everyone  Grin

To do spot trading on Binance, you can use the "Convert" tool with a $0 fee (in market or in limit).

My question is why many traders to buy and sell use the spot trading (where there are buy, sell buttons and order book) with fees instead of using the "Convert" tool without fees?

Thanks

What are the most used indicators by institutions to detect divergences?

And what do you think are the best indicators to detect divergences?
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Staking ETH 2.0 and Bear Market on: April 21, 2021, 10:53:38 PM
Hi all,  Smiley

I have a beginner question, I subscribed to the Staking ETH 2.0 for about 2 years but I absolutely forgot about the Bear Market.

Did I do wrong to subscribe to Staking ETH 2.0 for about 2 years knowing that during the Bear Market the ETH will lose a lot of its value?

I bought at 1580$.

Thank you for clarifying

19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is the BTCST token a good investment? on: March 27, 2021, 10:51:38 PM
Thank you all ..

Why do I have this huge daily candle that goes up to $ 1000?

20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is the BTCST token a good investment? on: March 25, 2021, 06:55:17 PM
are you talking about this? https://www.btcst.finance/
is not it in an endless dip after it was launched? I do not see any potential investment in holding this except halving your portfolio.
I would rather buy bitcoin itself since it is in discount right now or at least top cryptocurrencies rather than this.
it is too risky, it is not worth the risk.

It went up to $ 1000, this token is launched by Binance, I think it will go up to its ATH but it is a risk
