1  Economy / Economics / Re: China is winning the Economy Wars on: August 22, 2020, 02:26:45 AM
Actually, chinese are really love money. Most of thw manufacturing companies in my community is owned by a chinese. China is becoming powerful country, they managed to beat a lot of countries when it comes to GDP.  Their country is also rich with minerals and natural resources that makes their country to become rich more.
Do you think China will try and make their own currency to replace Bitcoin since they are so against it? I think people already know how China tries to control so much in their country

No, it was just cropped thats why you havent seen any username but i do still get the same error but it seems this issue is on my ISP since i can access it using VPN.
You were always using vpn to access? You are breaking ToS if you're from a banned country
4  Other / Meta / Re: How about restricting low rank people from opening new topics on: July 18, 2020, 02:58:47 PM

I guess if newbies and few other low rank members will be restricted to get approval on their topic, we may somehow solve the hassles of frequent removal of topics.

Even not across all boards of this forum, restrictions of few discussion boards may help many active posters here.

The forum could not really do that. Restricting lower members to start new topic is a bad move to do for a forum. It is not actually a kind way to moderate the posts here. If it is implemented, it will be a bad image for the forum.
And there are actually new users that are asking and creating topics because they do have some business to discuss.
Restricting will not work.

I agree with you as a new member, I don't like the idea of not allowing new users to create threads. A lot of people like me come here to ask questions occasionally on things they're stuck on. It doesn't really make sense to deny that.
5  Other / Beginners & Help / Why are user stats disabled? on: July 05, 2020, 02:39:09 PM
I clicked on the show "general statistics for this member" page on a user's profile and it didn't work. It gave me a message that said "User stats are disabled". Why is this the case?
6  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I am looking for merits...Let see how many will react violently... on: July 05, 2020, 02:23:03 PM
I was advised from others not to ask for merit on these forums. I was wondering why there is such a stigma against this, I have heard it is is very difficult to earn merit especially as new users such as ourselves. Hopefully as our post quality improves, the merit will come naturally.
7  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is your main goal... ? on: July 05, 2020, 02:16:39 PM
My main goal, as a new user of bitcoin and this forum, is to make a good amount of life-changing money since I'm still young. I'm a believer of playing risky while young, and playing safer with your investments the older you get. This is the prime-time to make big gains for a (hopefully) long life Smiley

Thank you, I was not aware that trust and feedback are separate, thank you for the helpful link!
9  Other / Meta / Trust System on: June 22, 2020, 01:16:50 AM
I have noticed that there is a trust system in this forum. From what I understand, users can obtain good and bad trust, but I don't see what the purpose of it is. Are there any repercussions of having a bad rating in the trust system?
10  Other / Meta / Is there an easier way of searching for a post within a thread? on: May 23, 2020, 10:08:11 AM
I've been bookmarking a lot of useful threads that I come across, but the number of bookmarks I have is becoming excessive. Within these threads, I'm searching for a particular post most of the time that I came across before. Is there an easier way of searching for previously viewed posts within threads?
11  Other / Beginners & Help / Recommended readings before investing into bitcoin? on: May 10, 2020, 10:44:30 PM
Hi guys, I'm still new to bitcoin and other cryptos and have received advice to start reading, and also investing with small amounts until I'm comfortable with everything. I was also recommended to read "Mastering Bitcoin: Unlocking Digital Cryptocurrencies", and was wondering if there are any other great books for someone that's just getting started. Thanks!
12  Other / Beginners & Help / Which exchange would be recommended for a new cypto user? on: May 08, 2020, 02:48:09 AM
I'm pretty new to cypto-exchanges and have been trying to get more into learning about how to transfer funds between accounts (real money to crypto). I've heard about various exchanges like Poloniex, but I was wondering if there is one that is particularly beginner friendly and not full of information so someone new the this wouldn't get confused.
13  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not as risky as many think. on: April 20, 2020, 09:53:42 PM
It is still an unregulated industry that is mostly run by thieves and scammers, but one thing we can all be sure of is the availability of endless amounts of mining profitability. It is possible to mine Bitcoin for free by using open-source hardware and software (there is a guide to getting started). To fully understand the Bitcoin mining process, I would highly recommend watching this video from Bitsonline's introduction to Bitcoin mining: http://bitsonline.com/how-to-mine-bitcoin/
