I've been bookmarking a lot of useful threads that I come across, but the number of bookmarks I have is becoming excessive. Within these threads, I'm searching for a particular post most of the time that I came across before. Is there an easier way of searching for previously viewed posts within threads?

AFAIK you can search a post within threads by click the Show results as messages before you search and choose the specific board you want to search

It's possible  just click on the thread you want to search the particular keyword from and then use the seach box at the top. The results of where the keyword was used in the thread will be dispayed.

I will suggest you read the post that is of use to you and understand it, the longer you are here it's more likely you will view post that is useful in a thread, so it can get overloaded if you saving them without reading them and freeing some space up,
You can screenshot if you are using a mobile phone,

There are no ways to easily search useful posts within a thread, because usefulness of a post/reply do also depends on a user's ideology and sense of understanding. Meaning, everyone has different perspective on what is a useful post, and what's common.

Yet I think there are things that can help you archive messages.
  • Save link of the certain message by:
    • First, right click on the #{number} on the top right of the post.

    • Then, select "Copy Link Address". then simply archive that link and put some title on your note depending on what do you think why is it helpful for you
  • Or, simply use Screenshot/Snipping Tool and manually crop and save posts that you find useful.

why not create a thread which consists of all links or quote the threads and posts you find useful/helpful and post it on off-topic or archival(I would ask a moderator first if it's allowed) and lock the thread to prevent people from commenting on it. then bookmark the thread you created.

Probably you are looking for compilation threads that contain useful topics. Sometimes I bookmarked them when I come across.
Example,
Some examples of threads that I bookmarked, but it's up to you if you will use the search box button the most convenient way of searching topics.

Scroll down on the main page of this Bitcointalk site and you will find the recent post.

You can use the forum's search engine as suggested by logfiles or use this tool developed by TryNinja:
https://posts.ninjastic.space/

If you are interested in the post itself more than the topic, then it's the post's link that you should bookmark. You can get the post's link by clicking the number next to the merit button.

If I see an exciting and educational post that is worth taking note of, I do this by putting it in my Watchlist in the forum. There are notable threads that are worth putting it in, and when there's a reply on that particular post, it's going to be shown in the Watchlist thread.

For searching, you could just use Ctrl + F in the Watchlist (if you have a lot of topics there) make sure that you remember the keyword that you are going to search.

If you are on a specific topic, you could just use the search bar here in the forum. If you are on the topic, that's where it would search. So you could do that as well. I hope you find it useful.

It looks like the OP has got the right answer at this time. This step does not require a bookmark bar but only requires some space in the notepad to save. Saving post links with specific titles will also be very helpful to find posts on threads that you only watch at a glance. A little advice for OP, make a number of different categories so you can easily select them when needed and I think this is a good step to get references.

If you want to save a good contents or thread you can use the

when you are in your computer you can use these to save the thread
  • Print Screen button

  • Snipping tool
  • Bookmark CTRL + D shortcut

If you are on your mobile devices
  • Screenshot
  • Bookmark

Also you can use the forum search if you know the title and some of the statement on the thread.

I've been bookmarking a lot of useful threads that I come across, but the number of bookmarks I have is becoming excessive. Within these threads, I'm searching for a particular post most of the time that I came across before. Is there an easier way of searching for previously viewed posts within threads?

There are no ways to easily search useful posts within a thread, because usefulness of a post/reply do also depends on a user's ideology and sense of understanding. Meaning, everyone has different perspective on what is a useful post, and what's common.

  • Or, simply use Screenshot/Snipping Tool and manually crop and save posts that you find useful.

Not only the number of the post also you can use the header of the post once you click on it will hyperlink to the post of the particular post, comment, quote or thread that you can copy link address too.

There is a thread created that contains different useful threads. If you prefer doing your own then there are other ways to do it and you don't need to bookmarked the thread. All you need to do is open notepad and copy all the link of the thread you want to bookmar but this time you only need to copy the link and type the thread name.
(Thread name) - (thread link/url).

Yeah, but it's also worth searching for a thread within a board...

How to find your post in a topic? was posted just a week ago Roll Eyes
I'll recommend this again: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5112444.0 (Show All on long topics) since the search doesn't return all results.
