I think his b250 mining expert was gone to junkyard today, It's funny to see that many people here posting their comments on the post they didn't read well. It's September 2020 today. By the way one of my B250 mining expert is the same problem with you dude.  Wink  Wink

Mine went down 2 months ago... no reason of the crash

3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PhoenixMiner 5.1c: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux) on: September 10, 2020, 06:24:30 PM
⚙️ Hardware requirements
For mining Ethereum/Ethereum Classic using PhoenixMiner on AMD Vega/Navi GPUs you'll need 6G+ RAM.
For rigs with 4G RAM and overall for AMD GPUs we highly recommend TeamRedMiner.

Why now phoenixminer do not work on last HiveOS beta image?
This way I will have to move all my farm to TeamRedMiner...

In RaveOS PhoenixMiner is working perfectly with Navi and Mix Rig… and with lot of options to optimization … Now I'm in :
334Mhs - 775W (Wall)

Equihash192 with AMD:

08:23:16 Failed to initialize miner on GPU0: POWERCOLOR Unknown AMD GPU 8GB: Unable to load binary kernel

I have this problem with 2.22 in Linux with a Mix Rig of AMD and Nvidia

So...
here's what issue I've been running into.
First... my rig:
Gigabyte GA-B250-FinTech LGA1151 Intel ATX Cryptocurrency Mining 12PCIe 3.0 DDR4 Motherboard
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07988FLFW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
100GB of virtual memory on a 500GB SSD.

I have 10 RX 5700XT cards.
(3 XFX Reference and 7 Sapphire Pulse cards dual bios cards)
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07TB5FBV6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07WC7683C/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
All ten have the 1500 strap bios mod.
Windows 10 ver 2004

Currently with PM 5.1c and Adrenaline 19.9.1

Now... for some reason my clock speeds are:
Core: 1400
Memory: 880
cvddc: 880

If I upgrade the driver (to say 20.4.2)... a random card will crash. Guaranteed. Never the same one. If I remove one I have a pretty good chance of it being stable BUT not at those clock speeds. I have to change the memory to 1750. Any higher and I get a crash. (blue screen)
Temperatures seem fine.
Command: -mi 14 -hstats 2 -mt 2 -tstart 60 -tstop 85 -wdog 1 -tt 60 -ttli 90 and I'm averaging 546.6 for all ten so that's almost 55MH/s. I can't really tell how much from the wall because I have it on a 220v circuit with two other machines but it looks as though each card is running between 104w to 110w.

So my questions:
Why is my current driver (19.9.1) displaying 880 for memory but as soon as I change driver I have to double the memory to make it work?
Why would my rig crash (BSOD) with the latest driver that everyone seems to say is "stable"?

It seems to run fine as is... but it sucks that I can never seem to update my driver. I've tried DDU and that doesn't help. I've tried MPT. I've done the bios mod... went back to stock bios (for each card that I individually saved but later found out that GPU-Z corrupts some of the saved bios files. I'm *thinking* that the GPU-Z backup was corrupted, modded with RedBiosEditor and since I flashed it to the cards I could have *possibly* messed something up... but then why would it run fine with 19.9.1 driver? Now I'm hearing from RedPanda that some manufacturers aren't even letting customers RMA their cards if they've been bios modded because of the PID mismatch so even if I acquired a fresh bios somewhere online the PID wouldn't match up.

So... I'm thinking that my best option is to find the original bios for
Sapphire 11293-01-20G Radeon PULSE RX 5700 Xt and XFX RX-57XT8MFD6 cards.
https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/214054/sapphire-rx5700xt-8192-190812
https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/212289/xfx-rx5700xt-8192-190616
Red Bios Edit the straps to those. Flash them individually, then with just ONE card installed flash the latest Adrenaline driver... then plug in each one separately and hope that it works.

Unless... someone else has any other suggestions.

Personally... it's working fine for me other than the fact that I can't update the drivers so I'm not in any hurry... but I am open to suggestions if anyone has them.

Thanks!

After 20.4.2 the memory change to real memory in PhoenixMiner is not half... the crashes come because you push to high the memory... test all of them at 1750 Mhz ...

Hello guys. A Filipino Miner here
Just wanna share a rig I got commission to fix.
It is a unknown Chinese mining board.
A pain in the butt. Intended as a 12 GPU Rig.
In the end I manage to get only 9 GPU Mining Ethereum.

Nice rig... Use Linux... You have 13 GPUs in Windows 12+1...  And probably the CPU can not handle all of them
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Modified GPU BIOS for Mining on: August 16, 2020, 08:38:33 PM
Are there any BIOS out there yet for 5700/5600 XTs?
Lot of thems...
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: RX 5700 EOL | testing RX 5600XT mining performance on: August 14, 2020, 09:15:22 AM
i got an XFX 5700 red dragon for 300$ (consider i live in Spain and here everything is much more expensive than in the US) almost brand new. I bios flashed it with the XT version of this card. At this very moment is doing 58mh/s at 140W at the wall.

In terms of efficency… you can low the Mhs but reduce the Watts in Wall... You can try 52-54Mhs with 90W... That is 1,73W x Mhs… If you look diese extra 4-6Mhs are nearly 9W x Mhs… But if you have a free plug… PUSH 58Mhs  Tongue

Anyone mining on ASRock 5700? getting crazy high memory junction temperatures (Using HwInfo64). Have core undervolted to 800mv, memory stock. Fan 75%, core temp 68C, hotspot 76C, memory 106C core clock throttles heavily (900-1100MHz depending on fan setting). Core starts out 1300MHz, goes down as soon as memory hits 104-106C.

Memory 106 is shutdown GPU... in BIOS is 105 Memory máximum...  you should check or death card… If you want more information contact me for BIOS MOD

Which of these video cards is better to buy?

SAPPHIRE AMD Radeon RX 5600XT  11296-05-20G PULSE RX 5600XT BE 6G OC
MSI AMD Radeon RX 5600XT  RX 5600 XT MECH
SAPPHIRE AMD Radeon RX 5600XT  11296-01-20G PULSE RX 5600XT 6G OC
POWERCOLOR AMD Radeon RX 5600XT  AXRX 5600XT 6GBD6-3DHR/OC
I have had tested both Sapphire pulse and MSI mech , and hash-rates for MSI mech much better then Sapphire pulse unfortunetly ;(
Sapphire cards always has better built quality

With mod bios or normal bios?

Hello All,

Agree with jgonzi  for the cards ranking, Sapphire is the best brand (easy replacable fan, very high quality build and impressive cooling, with NITRO+>Pulse>Pulse BE

If someone can give us information about flashing the bios I would be interrested. I saw a couple of video about rx 5700 biosmod but until now noone of rx 5600 biosmod

Regards
Jean

Bios RX 5600 is the same… copy STRAPS...

Great OS...
I think it would be useful to have the new settings OC in webpage too. Like a fast guide...

The autofan works perfect... the best to have mininal fan consume.

Could you also add for ETC crypit.net?  It is a pool with high Hash... I added manually and perfectly

You are right... I was pushing the pool but the admin don't pay me too...

He die the pool and make new one saying is a loose of the miners and he is not paying... I really not recommend that pool

Hi everybody, I have a problem to need help

I have a rig with 5 cards: 1 x rx580.8g + 4x rx570.4g .
It has gone well in win10 64 with driver 20.4.2-may25.Hash : 32,2, 30.2, 30.2, 29.7, 29.3 => total 151.7 Mh/s

After I have uninstalled by ddu program the driver, I install driver 20.7.1-july9.
But the Claymore causes Windows system crashed. Is it not running with driver 20.7.1 ?

if Works don't touch it...

I get only 10mh.

Computer mode

The CPU cannot handle all this quantity of GPU... put less GPU... some time that help… with 10 or 11 can work but not 12...
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Nicehash increased withdrawal fees on: July 22, 2020, 02:51:28 PM
you should try another coin with lower fee… I had the same problema in another Exchange...

They start with low fee in BTC and now is 4 times … in only 3 weeks...
