RTX 3060 v1 (ETH + TON mining) NVIDIA Driver: 460.39 lolminer v1.46a Latest HiveOS
I have just updated to lolminer v1.48 I m getting lower hashrate foır ETH + TON. Should I go back to v1.46a or update NVIDIA driver to the latest one ?
Don't update you are in the right driver... could you share which is the lower hashrate you comment?. Is it true the 1.47-48 is more aggresive in the Unlock that could be the reason

hello; thanks for your nice miner please add a feature to reset overclock and lock clock settings when quitting miner in windows
+1 That would save us a restart of the system after mining! I'm using a fixed Core Clock (through lolMiner) and have to restart the system to get rid of it. Even MSI Afterburner does not reset the core clock when I click "Reset". Greets. It is an utility for Nvidia OC : lolNvidiaOC --reset You can downloaded in the Wiki section https://github.com/Lolliedieb/lolMiner-releases/wiki/Guide-Windows-(LHR,Watchdog,WebServer,OC)

hi, is there any kind of dual-intensity option ?
You should play with the lock core. With that your are able to control the intensity

...
Thanks for your tips and insights! Adding additional cooling fans or changing the thermal pads isn't really an option since the PC is brand new. Installed MSI Afterburner and started testing... - Core clock -200 doesn't work since the LHR tuning needs a fixed/locked core clock to work correct - Lowering the memory clock lowered the memory temp but killed the hash rate - Lowering the power limit doesn't work since the LHR tuning bumps into it Also see: https://github.com/Lolliedieb/lolMiner-releases/wiki/Nvidia-LHR-and-Kernel-ModeI ended up with something else that more or less works: - Set a fixed core clock at 900 via lolMiner itself (--cclk 900) - Made a custom fan profile with MSI Afterburner including higher fan speeds I now have slightly better memory temps of 98-102°C which seems good enough since I only mine 5-10 hours a day. Screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/o9FprFbGreets. Ok nice to see such improvements.I have seen these kind of cards doing like 57-59 Mhsh but I would be happy with 53-54 Mhsh as long as the memory temperature hits a maximum of 102 degrees which should be fine as long as you only mine a couple of hours a day.Make sure if you switch from your home PC to making a real mining rig to choose non LHR cards no matter how difficult is to find them,or at least use GDDR6 only memory and not GDDR6X which you have seen yourself throttle a lot and suffer from high memory temperature. Probably best will be to change pads... that will completely solve your problems

how to set fixed lhr in windows?
For version 1.46a goes with the tune value that you achieve. then you can put --lhrtune 10.4 In the new 1.47 alpha you can put directly the value like --lhrtune 78.2, but problem is that they say that limit the miner and will not run that value if the GPU is not allow to do it. So it is better up 1.47 to don't use it.

Hi! is there a mode to force lolminer to no check all cards in a rig? i have a rig with 3 amd and 14 nvidia.. and i try to use lolminer with --devices NVIDIA option but lolminer crash one of my amd card..a radeon w5700 with special bios (that goes with other 2 amd card with teamredminer)..message is like dead gpu etc etc ...other 2 amd cards are ok and continue mining.. i tried to force only one nvidia device in lolminer with same result..
thanks alex
Try --devices a,b,c or put all gpus with lolMiner if lolMiner handles better that AMD that crash...

Hi guys,
Iv got 3070s in my rigs, non LHRs, all Windows On one of my rigs I saw this morning messages something like, trying LHR tune or similar, causing lower hashrates on cards. I completely forgot to screenshot, so I am not sure if you will be able to suggest anything. I restarted miner and all went back to normal.
Thanks
Try to follow the windows Guide for Windows: https://github.com/Lolliedieb/lolMiner-releases/wiki/Guide-Windows-(LHR,Watchdog,WebServer) And more if you have LHR

2 Developers:
Is it possible to use memory tweaks for 1080Ti in LoLMiner (Linux)? Something like --mt or similar?
Thank you in advance.
At the moment it is not possible with parameter. You should use 3rd Apps to do it. With HiveOS is very easy to apply it.

Can't run dual mining. Ends with this error: GPU 0: Starting DAG generation (normal mode) GPU 0: DAG build complete 16% GPU 0: DAG build complete 32% Ton job with difficulty 274.88G and giver WALLET received. Before it had some problems w/ DAG files, it had defected segments
Yes, just only use another pool like ton-pool.com or toncoinpool.io, that is the big problem, the block of cloudfare from tonwhales.com
yes, there is. Probably --maxdualimpact *,0,0
where * mean exclude, and 0,0 mean default value
--dualdevices didn't work and it will not as stated here:
Use --dualmode TONDUAL in order to activate this mode.
The parameter --dualdevices is meaningless for this mode.
Not 100 % sure but ...
or wait for Jgonzi...
I will try it and will inform you if it worked. One thing I forgot to mention is I am using HiveOS, so I don't know if something should be different. EDIT: I circumvented the problem by just using another miner for the first card, either way thanks for the help. It has been uploaded a new bat file, because the mine eth ton from the zip file it doesn't read the EXTRAPARAMETERS [moderator's note: consecutive posts merged]

Topic should be changed. The last version 1.42 hat lot of improvements around the TON Stability for all the pools.

why ergo not working on polaris cards? it is showin 1.4mhs
They should work... It is working right now in my Polaris rig... have you restart the miner?. Could it be something with the Epoch change?. Have you got a photo?

please enable --mclk 810 for rtx 2xxx series. Thank you
The --mclk is only for Ampere, that is not a Miner option it is the driver option from Nvidia. If they openned then it will be possible. Is there command in lolminer for core clock, memory clock, and pl ?
The core clock can be used always: --cclk xxx (for all Nvidia Turing && Ampere) --mclk 810 (for all Nvidia Ampere, only usefull for TON) For power limit is not added but you can run a command before the miner that will allow you to run the PL: nvidia-smi -pl xxx (where xxx is the value of the Power Limit), you can also add before -i x where x is the Gpu number.

I’m not a troll. Should be happy I did more than most and actually tried it.
What Metroid is trying to said, it is that it could not be the sweet post of Watts/Mhs. If you have free electricity and a good cooling it perfect. For example here is one user getting 5.2Ghs... Cost perfomance 290W (compared to a 3090 is the same)...
