Thanks for your tips and insights! Adding additional cooling fans or changing the thermal pads isn't really an option since the PC is brand new. Installed MSI Afterburner and started testing...

- Core clock -200 doesn't work since the LHR tuning needs a fixed/locked core clock to work correct
- Lowering the memory clock lowered the memory temp but killed the hash rate
- Lowering the power limit doesn't work since the LHR tuning bumps into it
Also see: https://github.com/Lolliedieb/lolMiner-releases/wiki/Nvidia-LHR-and-Kernel-Mode

I ended up with something else that more or less works:
- Set a fixed core clock at 900 via lolMiner itself (--cclk 900)
- Made a custom fan profile with MSI Afterburner including higher fan speeds
I now have slightly better memory temps of 98-102°C which seems good enough since I only mine 5-10 hours a day.

Ok nice to see such improvements.I have seen these kind of cards doing like 57-59 Mhsh but I would be happy with 53-54 Mhsh as long as the memory temperature hits a maximum of 102 degrees which should be fine as long as you only mine a couple of hours a day.Make sure if you switch from your home PC to making a real mining rig to choose non LHR cards no matter how difficult is to find them,or at least use GDDR6 only memory and not GDDR6X which you have seen yourself throttle a lot and suffer from high memory temperature.

Probably best will be to change pads... that will completely solve your problems

hi, is there any kind of dual-intensity option ?

You should play with the lock core. With that your are able to control the intensity

Is dual mining actually worth it?

Make your own calculation with whattomine? Or you are to lazy?  Roll Eyes

Short yes but you are to late for dual mining eth with ton - ton reward decreased bei 50% - and it is over in 2 - 3 month - because the givers bleeding out.

Hashrate for my 6900XT

61mh eth + 5gh ton use around 220w = double profit last month

Hi bro, mind to share your 6900XT setting for dual mining? my 6900xt only get 61mh +2.4Gmh, tks in advance

First of all thanks for this fantastic miner!

Today I updated to version 1.48 and saw a mem temp of 100-103°C. Is that too much? Anything I can do to lower it?

OS: Windows 10
Video card: RTX 3070 Ti (LHR)
Extra settings: --cclk 990

Thanks for your answer.

The 3070 ti has GDDR6X memory which tend to overheat quite quickly and although most people say as long as you are keeping the memory temperature to below 110 Degree Celsius you should not worry much I think that we should worry until we put the temperatures to just below 100 Degree Celsius and I think that should be fine then.

The correct settings in Windows for this GPU are:
Core clock -200
Memory clock +1800 max (maybe unstable lower until you hit the sweet spot)
Power limit 50%

If you have these settings then you can add additional cooling fans to your rig or change your thermal pads.
What type of cooling fan do you think is better for 3070ti? A table fan or those aluminium fan that is built for 3070ti 3080 and 3090s backplates? There is also few copper back plates with no fan on them, just the heat sink copper only.

+1 That would save us a restart of the system after mining!

I'm using a fixed Core Clock (through lolMiner) and have to restart the system to get rid of it. Even MSI Afterburner does not reset the core clock when I click "Reset".

It is an utility for Nvidia OC : lolNvidiaOC --reset

You can downloaded in the Wiki section

I missed that. Tested and 100% working on my RTX 3070 Ti.

Thanks!

Check the documentation: https://github.com/Lolliedieb/lolMiner-releases/wiki/lolMiner-Extra-Parameters-(English)
There are some parameters you can add to your bat-file.

Code:
--tstop
--tstart
--tmode edge/junction/memory

Is there any way to print the current dev fee? I'm using 1.48 with --lhrtune off and --mode a, so it should be 0.7% but the miner dialog doesn't mention it...

RTX 3060 v1 (ETH + TON mining)
NVIDIA Driver: 460.39
lolminer v1.46a
Latest HiveOS

I have just updated to lolminer v1.48
I m getting lower hashrate foır ETH + TON.
Should I go back to v1.46a or update NVIDIA driver to the latest one ?

Don't update you are in the right driver... could you share which is the lower hashrate you comment?. Is it true the 1.47-48 is more aggresive in the Unlock that could be the reason

Hello,

question regarding rtx 3060 v1

Hiveos, driver 460.39, lolminer 1.49

I have still the same hashrate in ETH+TON (40.5 MHs/1GHs)(1460cc,2300mem) on version lolminer 1.49 as on version 1.48. In the latest patch notes I've read that the lhr unlocker for rtx 3060v1 should be pushed further to around (86.5 - 87 % on RTX 3060 V1 and 460.39 driver).

How Can I trigger my rtx 3060v1 to reach higher hashrate on ethash?

Thanks
