1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum gas problem to be resolved in July on: February 23, 2021, 09:12:30 AM
Many of us are deservedly outraged by the high gas price that has recently been paid for moving ERC-20 and ethereum tokens. However, the solution to this problem is already approaching. In July, in about four months, as part of the improvements to Ethereum 2.0, it is expected that high gas prices will go away, if not forever, then for a long time.
Ethereum Improvement Proposal (EIP) 1559 is the most anticipated improvement along with increased scalability for the network since the launch of ETH 2.0.
We hope that the staggering popularity of Ethereum will not only recover, but also soar to an unprecedented level.

THere should be a big problem with this update and that will be the miners of ethereum https://www.coindesk.com/ethereum-mining-pools-threaten-contentious-update

Just at that dude. Some miners were against this ethereum improvement proposal. That means there might be a possibility for more and more miners to unite against this ethereum improvement proposal. I thought that if that will not be running smoothly as per the news.
It's why I won't believe anything buterin vitalik says until they actually make it happened, miners and pool runners aren't happy with the EIP1559 and in few more weeks the battle against EIP1559 can begin, this isn't the perfect solution honestly
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: how to use integrated graphic card for os and dedicated card for mining ? on: February 23, 2021, 09:09:40 AM
Hello

I just started mining and i use ethereum as Coin and Phoenixminer as miner, windows as os

I saw when mining and working in my computer my hashrate is about 24 to 25 especially when using navigator the gpu is solicited so that lead me to think how can i use my integrated graphic card for os purpose 'i believe it's a intel hd xxx" and left my dedicated gtx 1060 to other purpose, mining or gaming, for now when my dedicated card is plugged then my integrated card is deactivated", a suggestion is to check manual how to use them both IF it's allowed where i did not find what i want.

is there a walktrough for that ? is it good idead to do this ?

Best Regards
one word "dont" if youre expecting profit from IGPU, for learn to mine is doable but a bit different method compared dedicated gpu, and IGPU use ram memory which is not fast enough for mining

just for hobbies & fun it should be fine
I don't think that's what's happening here with OP, he or she wants to get display from igpu so that gpus for mining can reach accurate hashrate, I always lose 0.6mh when I use hdmi cable on my gtx1660 super for display
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Great miners in the house, your help is needed! on: February 23, 2021, 09:07:21 AM
Something crazy is going on with my rig, I just find out that my rig is consuming up to 600 watts power, WTF? Is my motherboard faulty or what?  Help!! Here is my configuration

1. CPU 2nd gen i5 non overclock and not using for mining
2. One RX580 undervolt and miner shows 80watts power consumption
3. Two Gtx1660 super at 31mh each, no overclock, @ 81 watts each

That is freaking all, even if my motherboard is eating up to 150 watts what is eating that high watt? OMG 😱😱😱

rx 580 consume around 140-150, and gtx 1660 should around 110-120,, all component with riser should easy go 100w, total around 500w if youre using gold/platinum psu

so 600w there will be some gpu dont apply the config...

advice use wattmeter instead rather than depend on software measurement...
So risers are consuming some powers too? 🤔🤔🤔 Damn I really need to get my hands on wattmeter ASAP, at least I would know the exact amount of power I'm using, all these guess doesn't count, anyways, OP you can close few cores in your BIOS settings, i5 cpu isn't needed for mining
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ZOTAC GeForce RTX 3070 Twin Edge OC as a mining card ?... on: February 22, 2021, 12:05:58 PM
Just a pure white zotac 3070 graphic card for 1200$ in my country and I'm using it's to mine ethereum right now with good result, 60mh at first and after switching between miners and finding the sweet spot for ETH mining the card is now doing 63mh per second, it's a good gpu for mining
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is your worst loss in 2021 bull run on: February 22, 2021, 11:49:16 AM
Half bread is better than none, selling bitcoin or ethereum at lower price than what they are worth today shouldn't be considered a loss, you sold because you are satisfied with what you got at that time, real loss is when you lost something without making anything out of it
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Initial twitter offering?? on: February 22, 2021, 11:41:52 AM
Actually I trust @top7ico source, they hardly talk about crap crypto projects but twitter offering is nonsense, who thought of such idea in the first place? Twitter is full of bots, cheaters, scammers etc why the hell would anyone bring this idea up? Like seriously I'm confused
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance USDT TRC20 has been changed from 0 to 0.20 USDT on: February 21, 2021, 10:44:41 AM
I don't see any changes on my binance account either, I can still withdraw USDT-Tron lesser than 0.020USDT that OP is talking about, I'm not sure what's going on here, probably a glitch in the system maybe?
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange Dogecoin for what? (I need advice) on: February 21, 2021, 10:40:19 AM
If you are satisfied with the present gains from dogecoin I suggest you change them to USDT or other stable coins, don't expect that dogecoin will keep growing higher, there will be bear season sooner or later, be prepared for that
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Short term solid projects? on: February 21, 2021, 10:37:58 AM
Hey, what would you recommend to buy and keep for 6 months? I have BTC, ETH, Dash, Monero, Litecoin, Tezos.

Which altcoins do you recommend for few months?
I think you can buy dot, and other polkadot related project. Also those binance smart chain projects are in hype. But not sure why you only will hold it for 6 months. Sometime some crypto takes longer for price appreciation. But if you want an early profit try to risk on some degen projects on Binance smart chain good profits.
The reason why binance smart chain is in big hype is because ethereum is getting harder to get along with, imagine that insane amount for gas fee, that's enough to turn off new projects and developers so binance smart chain looks attractive enough at this time
10  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Amepay does not keep payment promises Bounty on: February 20, 2021, 12:21:54 PM
I think the team are avoiding the payment somehow, it's very easy to deal with this problem, since the team have the tokens they shouldn't bother paying in their tokens, they can pay hunters in btc, Tron, USDT and others, saying gas fee is high is not an excuse, we are in bull run season and everyone knows that gas fee will be high already
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: And yet another problem for promoters on: February 20, 2021, 12:18:39 PM
Yes I've think about this issue before this day, gas fee is pretty high and some bounties will make excuses out of the high gas fee just to avoid paying bounty hunters, even if bounty hunters have to wait they will paid when there is no more bull run and probably the tokens will have dumped alot in value
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No year of altcoins coming. All the big money is pouring into bitcoin. on: February 20, 2021, 12:12:23 PM
I'm not buying this point at all, all big money are pouring into altcoins and yet BNB turned 300$, all whales favour bitcoin accepted but polkadot grows over 1100% gains already, are you seeing avalanche? Neo? Compound? Bro the list goes on and on, a 1000% gain is a altcoins season for me
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin did you make the most money from? on: February 17, 2021, 05:26:54 PM
For me, that had to be Ripple. I traded for 100%+ thrice and still holding a position at $0.40.
My next coins are:

1) Ripple
2) ADA
3) Bitcoin
4) Ethereum

What's yours?
I hold very little quantities of these coins in my portfolio so the money I make from them are pretty low, instead I made good amount of money from YOUC and DIA, that DIA net me over 800$ and thats because I hold till price gets to 3$ again and YOUC was amazing, I made 1000$ gain from the project already
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is this safe to run 24/7? on: February 17, 2021, 05:24:44 PM
Worry less, I have a nvidia gpu running at 65°c for complete 4 years now with no problem, still alive and kicking asses lol, even 70°C is still considered a safe temp, you have nothing to worry about, keep watching the temp and if it goes up in future you will need to reapply thermal paste and you are good to go
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is still profitable to buy an Antminer L3+ in 2021? on: February 17, 2021, 05:22:17 PM
The only thing I fear about L3+ asic miner is electricity cost, that thing consumes lots of watt and the profit is just 2$+ per day while 1.92$ goes for electricity, this is paying way too much for electricity, its a no for someone like me
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: New to mining, but I want to learn, newb help? on: February 17, 2021, 05:19:19 PM
Why is no one warning this guy about using a laptop to mine? If that's not a quality high end laptop you will damage it easily, its better to go and buy  a gpu and insert into a desktop and mine with no worries of burning any components, laptops aren't safe for mining
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If a project gets too complicated on: February 16, 2021, 02:13:04 PM
well , another curiosity about HEX , i also curious about hex , but after i try to review , they even do not have a team, whitepaper , roadmap , hex just instant finished product from nowhere to somewhere. its too complicated to me to understand how Hex have a value after all, because its not like another tokens , i do not see any real demand for this HEX . almost 2 billions marketcap but no real demand, its really strange, i wonder its that possible to get x 50++ just for staking ?
but well, if u want to do a quick "hit, waiting then run" , its fine i guess.
HEX have a team and everyone knows the CEO himself, you need to do good research before saying something you aren't really sure about, I'm not a fan of hex but it does bring profits to those who believed in the project, too complicated for me to and I don't like investing money on something I don't understand, it's like putting oneself in the dark
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If a project gets too complicated on: February 16, 2021, 02:11:00 PM
It's always in investors best interest to understand what they are investing their hard earned cash on, do not invest in something you don't understand because think about it, how is any of this make any sense?
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Rx580 overclocking on: February 16, 2021, 02:07:02 PM
Wattman from AMD can be very confusing for newbies, you can still use msi afterburner and get away with good hashrate if you know what you are doing, it's all about finding the sweetest spot, I'm getting 29.99 MH on my micron rx580 gpu, all you have to do is

Change MV (core voltage) to -162
Power limit to -16
Core clock 1106
Memory clock 2104
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Should I be worried or not? on: February 16, 2021, 01:56:49 PM
I'm mining with three gpus and NB miner showing my gtx1660 super having 5000+ memory but my RX580 8000+ memory, the gtx1660 super is where I'm confused, they have 6gb memory so why is miner showing only 5gb ? Should I be worried?
