Good job on resolving the issue with neymarjr12 - very happy SportsBet.io did the right thing here.
I've removed my support for the flag and I won't be posting against you in the near future after the satisfying outcome.

Thank you and good luck!

I also will remove my support for the flag as we can assume neymar has accepted the outcome? Would rather the outcome was posted but I will trust it has been resolved satisfactorily.

Hopefully Sportsbet can also clarify the other scam accusations that have appeared, then I can go back to betting with them confidently
22  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Sportsbet.io (Withholding funds from 24.07.2020) on: August 01, 2020, 03:42:26 PM
Hi, I have the same issue since Monday, I have been following cases on the forum and I did not want to end posting it, but I have no option since I have not even been given a solution yet and today they blocked me from the Live Chat for asking them to not keep on sending me automated responses.

Moreover, I have not received a reply by email for 3 days already. On Monday I sent them several docs for KYC and did the Veriff thing (which was stated on the App to be successful) but they do not unlock my funds yet, they do not return them to me. I am also being accused of multiaccounting, and I was given several usernames, but obviously I denied any involvement since I just have ever had one account and so only used one.

What have brought me the biggest concern is to seeing SO MANY cases against this site, I could have never imagined that I was giving my trust on a site with such complains.

Furthermore, I am not confident on submitting the case on AskGamblers since I have seen several members stating that they are not the most neutral body since they are being sponsored by casinos. I do not mean to bring negative/positive feedback to anyone, nor to harm their image, I just want my funds back and forget about this story once and for all.

Therefore, I believe the best is to post it on this forum.

Please post a new topic following these guidelines, providing proof: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=260073.0

Seems like this is another case exactly the same, I think there’s a lot of this going on.

Yeah me too.

It's pure coincidence you started sportsbet.io, do you allow the use of VPNs? before anyone actually mention VPNs.

Now army of newbie accounts all registered through vpns from Russia crying that their 15 mBTC accounts are disabled.  Cheesy

Let me guess neymarjr12 also registered through VPN?

Black PR or extortion attempt, which one is it?

I started that thread because I use Sportsbet.io through a VPN. Not breaking country restrictions but to protect privacy and I had seen some posts mainly the neymar topic and I want clarification that VPNs are allowed.

I imagine more cases have come out of the woodwork because of reading the neymar topic, nothing to do with me.

Users are most likely to be new rather than established as they will find these posts through google.

I have however decided to stop using sportsbet.io for a while until all these issues are resolved.

Seems like this is another case exactly the same, I think there’s a lot of this going on.

More players seem to be arising with similar issues because they can see others in the same situation. I wonder how many players sportsbet.io do this to every day? And how many have to just accept it because they don’t know where to make a noise.

I am sure Steve from Sportsbet.io will also look into this one but I am worried by the amount of complaints recently. I am sure it’s not Steve’s job to be involved in all these disputes and realistically how many can he get involved in.

Sportsbet.io need to get their shit together by providing more proof to users of their claims

ps I can read OP’s images all fine. The entire email chain is visible.
25  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Get a Price ₿oost on every sport, every day! 🤑🤑🤑 on: July 31, 2020, 11:05:04 PM
It’s against their own terms and conditions to not KYC you for such a large win, in line with their gaming license.

Quote
9.2.      Sportsbet.io reserve the right to carry out additional KYC verification procedures for any withdrawals exceeding the equivalent of 1 Bitcoin or €2000 as regulated by our gaming license. Account Holders who wish to recover funds held in a closed, locked or excluded account are advised to contact our Customer Support.
Normally I would side with the cynicism of the gamblers in the proverbial battle, but if you examine the clause closely you need to respect the careful semantics: they reserve the right to carry out verification. They don't need to, but they have the ability to: that is what you're agreeing to. If I reserve the right to call someone an asshole, it doesn't mean I have to do it.

Sure, so there gaming license states they can pick and choose when to KYC players? I dunno, I don’t buy it. I tried to find the regulations online but can not find anything.
26  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Get a Price ₿oost on every sport, every day! 🤑🤑🤑 on: July 31, 2020, 10:56:09 PM
I'm not sure where else to vouch for Sportsbet.io but I deposited 1 BTC and won 4 BTC by playing Live BlackJack, they did not KYC me for such a large amount.

Follow their TOC and play legit and you won't have any issues using them. I also do Sports betting with them.

It’s very likely that had the player been winning then Sportsbet would have pulled out the multiple account / we are seizing your funds malarkey.

The player is always at a disadvantage, casinos tend to do what they want. Interested to see Sportsbet comment on this accusation as it’s for a shit ton of money compared to some of the other cases floating around
28  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Confiscated balance at sportsbet.io on: July 31, 2020, 10:48:36 PM
Only you and sportsbet know the full details, so I can't comment any further, sorry.
It's kind of strange, the resolution of this:

You have a player that voluntarily gave up KYC, presumably expecting to be cleared of concerns and to be given his winnings. Unfortunately, though, the KYC turned out to have no effect on the case and they decided to close out their account and only return the deposit.

Outcome:

Sportsbet.io gets a user's KYC for free.
Am I missing something here?

Sportsbet.io are yet to comment on this, Steve has said he will look into it.

Hopefully they can resolve this. Seems sportsbet.io are being hit with a lot at the moment
29  Other / Archival / Re: [sportsbet.io] Responsible gambling failure, not honouring their own t&c's. on: July 31, 2020, 09:51:48 AM
Wouldn't be that hard to detect and know where they are and issue a case against them, especially amidst this pandemic?

They have a license:

https://validator.curacao-egaming.com/validate?domain=sportsbet.io&seal_id=ce1fe30eb692473c751d3737d65bd753108999a1eeb9896d4b649466f328bfbb8a2c126253365800bea988199489b315&stamp=e6586fc3812998301d79616f6d178f06

Obtaining the details from Curacao shouldn't be so difficult and it won't be costly neither.

It's the case itself that would be costly but this is up to both sides to work it out legally.

Players always are at a disadvantage as these big companies are so not scared by the thought of legal action.

I also imagine legal action against a Curacao company could be pretty tricky
30  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Sportsbet.io (Withholding funds) on: July 31, 2020, 07:12:09 AM
Is there any progress on resolving this case yet? It can’t be that complicated Smiley

Thanks for your response. I appreciate it, I also understand that it is a huge sum of money and posting on a forum is very unlikely to change the outcome. I wanted to raise awareness to the case and also get the opinion of others.

I have also been advised to create a flag against sportsbet.io which I have done so:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=2181

Please support the flag, if sportsbet.io come to a reasonable outcome I will of course remove this. I hope there is some support for my case and help from the public to push sportsbet.io to reconsider my case. Thanks

I have added my support to this flag to help your case. I believe you are both in the wrong but I can see it from your side too.

Good luck and I will be following this closely but I do agree with get-paid, you really should be getting a lawyer and not posting this on a public forum. Hopefully it helps.
32  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: sportsbet.io, do you allow the use of VPNs? on: July 30, 2020, 05:04:37 PM
Of course Sportsbet are avoiding this thread.

They know they do allow most users to use a VPN but don’t want to put them off by setting the record straight.

They also know that by not answering, they can continue to pick and choose which users, when it suits them, they will use this as an excuse for not allowing them to withdraw their funds.
33  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Sportsbet.io (Withholding funds) on: July 30, 2020, 01:56:59 PM
New positive trust is given to sportsbet.io by LFC .. this is really bad when an accusation is going on don't add new trust please until solved.

Shut the fuck up

I agree with AjdinS, LFC just seems to very ignorant.

As soon as the case is resolved I will remove my support for the flags.
34  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Sportsbet.io (Withholding funds) on: July 29, 2020, 05:35:59 PM
Fantastic to see this being re-reviewed by Sportsbet and allowing a 3rd party to review.

Let’s hope it is resolved fairly regardless of the outcome.

Hi Steve @sportsbet.io

I see you have replied to most of the Sportsbet.io related threads. Please can you take a few minutes to clarify and provide a response in this thread:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5263916.0

Thanks
36  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Sportsbet.io (Withholding funds) on: July 28, 2020, 05:01:59 PM
It seems Sportsbet.io are avoiding posting on the forums at the moment. The account has been online various times but they are probably ignoring all the heat that is around them over the past few days.

Playing the silent game.
37  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: sportsbet.io, do you allow the use of VPNs? on: July 25, 2020, 02:14:59 PM
Yes hopefully, a very clear response is what we all deserve

We can then close the thread and use it for future reference. Very simple! Smiley

It is settled then. Pick your guys.
I guess it makes sense to pick the most active and reputable users in this thread, not matter if they were for/against my case (please correct my choice, I might have missed someone):
@Royse777
@LFC_Bitcoin
@efialtis
@buwaytress
@SyGambler
@actmyname
@Trofo
@gosha@e-coin

The dude at the bottom is a scammer, he got banned as game-protect. Do not send him any information at all. Just so you believe me -
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5260668.msg54863330#msg54863330

To be honest I didn’t really want to say but most of the people supporting efialtis flag are suspected alts of this scumbag.

What he used to do as game-protect was charge people like yourself for supposed legal action & advice against casinos. He obviously would never get any money back.

But yeah, looking out for you here, do not send him any personal info.

Thanks for heads up! Updated list:
@Royse777
@LFC_Bitcoin
@efialtis
@buwaytress
@SyGambler
@actmyname
@Trofo

No offence to any of these, but I recommend you don’t share your ID out to anyone. When sharing with a company you have certain protections in place.

AskGamblers is truly your best bet, unfortunately I believe they are in bed with sportsbet.io and refused your complaint (amongst many others I imagine).

Unfortunately I am not sure what to recommend, it’s very hard to know what to do going forward, sportsbet are starting to get a very bad name. Only sportsbet can resolve this case in my opinion and provide some proof to you which indicates multi accounting. The best help these users listed above can provide you is by pressuring sportsbet into providing the proof required.
40  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Sportsbet.io (Withholding funds) on: July 24, 2020, 05:48:02 PM
Hi guys. I hope I'm not yet another unneeded cook but I would like to reiterate my suggestion in that we request both neymarjr12 and Sportsbet to both proceed with this situation through a recognised gambling industry arbitrator -- AskGamblers.com.

@neymarjr12 Please if you haven't done so already, do open your case against them using this link: https://www.askgamblers.com/casino-complaints/

There is a tutorial there that I urge you to watch and then submit it and wait for it to appear on that same page (your complaint will register there if it meets all the requirements). Then, I would ask you to update this OP with all the information, I am more than certain Sportsbet will respond to that complaint there.

Why do this instead of involving all of us and others here?

1. As much as I respect and love many of the posters here -- I know almost all of them by name and consider them my friends and like-minded allies in gambling -- I do not think it is fair to ask you OR Sportsbet to disclose any private and confidential information. I, for one, would really not like to meddle with GDPR consequences, nor would I like anyone I know here to expose themselves to that very real, potentially litigious risk.

2. As much as I'd like to think my opinion counts (it is possibly not objective as I use Sportsbet myself), I don't think it is also fair to ask anyone to accept our unqualified observations, since none of us I believe actually work in the industry. AskGamblers is the only 3rd-party, independent arbitrator that I trust and I know many others online trust as well. THEY are qualified to intervene and mediate.

3. AskGamblers decision will carry more weight, and should be final, more so than any decision either of us individually or as a group could possibly have. Casinos know their reputation and will be eager and keen to resolve this with them, in a way that protects their method (but opening themselves to inquiry by AskGamblers), and protects the user (so neither I nor anyone on this forum can access your data). We may be able to affect trust ratings here but a flag by AskGamblers will affect trust ratings elsewhere online, arguably with wider impact.

OP, you can inform Sportsbet you are doing this, update the first post with relevant and updated information, and keep us abreast and informed.

Hi @buwaytress,
I submitted my complaint to AskGamblers, but unfortunately for me they said that "In a situation where terms violation is being disputed, AskGamblers Complaints Team is following a strict policy of non-intervention as we are adamant in our position that once accepted and signed, all the relevant casino and bonus terms should be followed. " - so they rejected my complaint based on it.
This is a screenshot of their full reply: https://ibb.co/s2H9pCg
I will still ask them one more time and post the link to this thread (I hope it will matter that so many people replied and raised their opinions and concerns).
If anyone has any contacts with AskGamblers or knows how to explain them that this case actually can be reviewed by them, it would be very helpful.

I find this very suspicious.

AskGamblers complaints system has hundreds of complaints of casinos violating their own T&Cs.. yet they decline it for this?

Coincidence that Sportsbet.io won AskGamblers casino of the year or something similar?

Sportsbet.io have a suspiciously low amount of complaints on AskGamblers system, only 4??
