The parts i "liked" is the parts where he refusing escrow, saying they are all scammers including me, leaving false negative feedback and so. Doesn't matter i like it or not, the conversation is there. Do you want me to post the full conversation? I don't mind. |

I'm not entirely convinced this is actually an escrow scam attempt. From reading what Tedfrost wrote, he sounds more like a confused newbie who doesn't know what escrow is and doesn't trust people--which is a perfectly acceptable sentiment in the world of crypto. He sounds like he doesn't have any experience in trading crypto for fiat and doesn't know what we normally do around here
In addition, escrow is useless with PayPal anyway.
Then again, I could be completely wrong and Tedfrost could be a cunning scammer posing as an inexperienced noob, but I'm not sure that's the case here.
OP, if you really think this is a scam attempt worthy of a flag, you ought to post this in the Scam Accusation section.
A newbie won't know how to post ratings and feedbacks but this kiddo is pretty familiar with the things around. I respect the benefit of doubt you giving him but sadly, the facts, the words and the acts talking by their self. Being cautious is always the best option! Being disrespectful and aggressive to all new members is the worst attitude you can show to someone new.
Seems like people forget they were all new members.
So is it a good idea to call an established member a pedophile repeatedly in their trust feedback after they discovered and proved that you are a scammer? Is that a way of setting an example of respect? Just wondering what your take on this issue is. Perhaps if dirty, amoral scammers (worthless people) didn't keep on registering new accounts on this forum to prey on others and instead contributed positively in any way, shape or form, then we'd have a bit more respect for newbies. You should ask that member who called that established member a pedophile probably. Are you trying to point that "you" as "me"? Actually if you visit this board you can see only those people who post this type of topic is newbie, when they are a little old like me usually do not create any topic like this.
As strange as it is, I have noticed this as well. Obviously because many new members finding this forum late and giving it a try to sell/buy or exchange stuff. Ranks means nothing in sales/exchanges if people provide security such as escrow or safe place to meet. Everyone is equal here, no matter how people around are trying to "flex" with merit, rank, feedback. In the end, most of the members not even coming back after they sell or exchange what they need... All of us should accept the fact that people are not coming here to stay, being interested or have time to waste raising their accounts to something that would bring them nothing. Some people just come, post and leave. Cannot disagree with you, but at the same time this board is just full of scammers so being cautious is not shameful  Being cautious is always the best option! Remember how people were acting to all of you when you discover that forum and being a newcomer. And also, you will ALWAYS receive what you give.
