1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] $KAIINU is a cryptocurrency, which base on the principle of DeFi. on: June 14, 2021, 09:40:06 AM
Quite an interesting project, so the longer you hold the more tokens you earn when others are selling as it's a deflationary coin. I also like the wallet interface.
If I may, how often do you do buy back? Is it periodically or it depends on a specific factor before you decide to buyback?
Also are you planning to list on more exchanges, and how does the deflationary process work if you are trading and holding on an exchange? Do you still earn more tokens or I have to hold token in my own non-custodial wallet?

Its the same offer like any other dog inspired meme token. its all the same with different name. We will just see if this project can survive after investors hit and run and rape the market to its lowest.

As always, Know when to sell and don't be the last to hodl the bag.

Projects like this start to annoy people and don't create anything new for the future. Are they going to try to scam one person out of the many investors here?

They caught my attention because at least they are building something, a wallet and also explorer. I'm watching it to see how it plays out.

You actually don't need a premium account for bounty or fund to invest to be able to learn about cryptocurrency. Rushing to make money off a world you barely know anything about will only bring you loss and regret.

Your priority right now is to learn about cryptocurrency, what it is and how it works while you are doing your day job! Don't come with a mind of wanting to make huge money in crypto overnight.

4  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Verified Twitter account is being used to promote fake giveaway! on: January 04, 2021, 07:30:44 PM
It's either Elon's twitter account has been hacked again or another edited image circulating around social media.

Quote
Even this account has only 491 followers. So how is this account verified? They have also verified this account by fooling Twitter!

True, how did this account with few followers get verified, maybe some backdoor verification probably with the main motive of defrauding people.

Quote
It's so weird that this account haven't tweeted since 2017 or maybe tweet was deleted or something

Twitter fake giveaways aren't slowing down atall and wondering if Twitter is actually working on some features to decrease that. I guess need to be aware and learn how to spot a fake giveaway below.

If you're being asked to send fund
If you have been asked for your private key/seed phrase
Always check the URL of whatever websites you are in as some just look almost the same.
If it's too good to be true then it probably is. Let's stay vigilant and safe out there

7  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the purpose of your post ? on: December 23, 2020, 04:52:50 PM
The purpose is a discussion forum is to discuss by sharing ideas, assisting those who needs it and try as much as possible not to spam or shitpost. This is my first signature campaign, wanted to give it a try and i must say it makes no difference to me that's why i chose a campaign that will accept even 5 post weekly as I don't want to be under pressure to have to post when it's not needed. I do read more than posting still.

I don't think someone who does good quality post should feel guilty for wearing a signature or should be blamed unless it's shitposting.

The question is, what is the purpose of your post? To discuss your curiosity right? You see that's one of the purpose of the forum forum hence getting paid to post what you would post anyway ain't a bad thing.
8  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be careful From Telegram Fraud on: December 23, 2020, 12:12:06 PM
Telegram is indeed one of the easiest way to scam people who want to make thousands of dollars overnight. When you respond to their first message and seem interested then they know you are one of the gullible greedy ones so they continue to scam you. You friend need to join this forum to learn how to avoid such scams.

Your friend also need to know in the street of crypto and internet, you can't trust anybody. I hope that wasn't his last penny and i hope he has learnt his lessons.

When it sound too good to be true 'Guaranteed double or triple gains' (It's a scam)
When you need to pay to be able to withdraw (It's a scam)
When they start the conversation with 'hello friend or hello sir' (It's a scam)
If they try so hard to show you documents and license to be able to take money from you (It's a scam)

9  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hope people that give out personal address safe? Ledger wallet users' attacks on: December 21, 2020, 05:14:44 PM
The most worrisome thing is that people's physical addresses and phone numbers has been exposed on darkweb hence several people could be in physical danger. Imagine people breaking into your house and threaten the hell out of you to give your recovery phrase or better yet beat it out of you or even harm your family. This was really unprofessional and careless act from Ledger.

Data security has always been their most promised point and now they can't even ensure that, rather being careless and not being transparent early enough until this happen.

Now people really need to be very careful and tighten their security and ensure to not fall for phishing emails, text and calls. Ledger has some serious damage control to do
10  Economy / Scam Accusations / [ScamAlert] Binance phishing site and fake airdrop on: December 19, 2020, 08:03:26 PM
I have seen several binance fake airdrop today and it's getting ridiculous, please be careful if anyone comes across this especially newbies.
Here is a medium article about fake binance airdrop created today, do not fall victim. I have also reported to google!

11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Warning from ETH founder about taking loans. on: December 18, 2020, 09:25:35 AM
Someone posted here few days ago about being so proud of taking a personal loan to buy bitcoin and made profits, I'm hoping he/she reads this and be careful next time. Though you may win when gambling but the chances of losing is also high when gambling with money. Crypto is way too volatile to take a loan for, the danger of loss involved is way too high. Rather to invest a little at a time or as much as you can afford to lose.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it right time to Buy Alt coins now? on: December 17, 2020, 01:31:08 PM
Nobody has a crystal ball to know surely the right time to buy alts, it's all speculation IMO. The most important is invest in fundamentals and progressive alts not only hyped ones. Currently ethereum is holding it's price strong and many more deployment to come hence the value of ETH right now is undervalued hence whether you got in when it was $150 or now, you would still be making a sensible choice as long as you are not aiming for short term gains.
13  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Ledger SMS phishing campaign – Yet another phishing SMS campaign in progress II on: December 16, 2020, 10:12:07 PM
Ongoing phishing campaign - WARNING Ledger scam email be aware!

website:
Code:
http://ledġẹr.com/
xn--ledr-dxa0756b.com

Supposedly contact and support email address:

Code:
contact@legder.suport

This is just getting even more ridiculous. Ledger users attacks keeps happening concurrently now and sometimes ledger sends warning emails about phishing attempts late to their users hence several gullible users will fall prey to this scam. Any email that request for private keys, recovery phrase, passwords and pin are obviously fake and people should always be alerted about it.

15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Drop by if you are a PayPal user on: December 12, 2020, 06:24:14 PM
Paypal can't just ban an account without notifying you with a reason. I have been using paypal for years and never had any restrictions but I've read that some users get restricted but there's always a reason given which will be within their policies. I haven't used their paypal features as that is not available in my region yet so I can't really comment on crypto trading experience. People need to avoid using paypal for illegal or suspicious activities else they will get banned
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC vs GOLD on: December 11, 2020, 06:05:25 PM
If you consider the 2021 prediction about crypto bullrun, it's inevitable the other markets such as gold and the entire stock market will suffer. Investors are selling their gold share to cash out more profits in crypto. Look at the gains people had from defi hype alone few months and that was just tip of an iceburg.

Crypto is here to stay and many corporate companies are partnering with crypto companies to promote real world adoption hence money will bleed off gold into crypto.
17  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Beware] Fake Blockchain wallet on Google Play stealing people's money. on: December 11, 2020, 11:51:53 AM
If anyone wants to download any sort of wallet, it should be done through their website and also to make sure you are visiting a legit website. There is always a download link on the website. It's never safe searching on google playstore. Google also really need to do something about approving several scam applications. It's a pity this fake wallet has 50k+ downloads hence several users have already been scammed.

20  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Merit] Hey Bitcoiners! Can You Send Encrypted Messages? on: December 08, 2020, 01:02:29 PM
Kindly, lets keep the forum healthy and not just spamming with bounty reports only. Just my 1 cent

My merit giveaway threads have been a bit of an eye opener on these bounty spammers.  Who are these bounty managers that are paying these accounts?  What sort of fraudulent bounty alt account schemes are these people enabling that people are spending their time making these accounts?  Why does the community tolerate this?  Not the topic to discuss this issue probably, but I have a hard time not pointing the finger at bounty managers who are clearly failing the community.

If bounty managers sits up and ensure to accept bounty entries from those contributing to the forum positively, it will make a great positive impact on the forum. These spammers will be forced out of only bounty threads and actually learn and make contributions as well. Even social media bounties shouldn't accept newbies, that could  also decrease the spam.
