1  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Met Beautiful Young Asian Woman On Dating Site To Teach Me Trading on: June 27, 2023, 08:05:50 AM
I met a young and beautiful Asian woman on a dating site. She is 27 years younger than me.
She belongs to a professional cryptocurrency organization that provides multi-millionaires with when and what coin to trade. About 3 - 4 trades a week.
The reason she belongs to the group is because her Uncle runs it.
She said she will give me the trades for free.
We have done several video chats so she is real.

I used to trade FOREX heavily so I thought Cryptocurrency would be similar.
I open a Coinbase account.
She tells me to Buy Bitcoin and keep it for 60 seconds and then sell it.
I don't know how to work Coinbase but I do see Bitcoin go up and up.
So now I'm trying to learn how to trade on Coinbase.

She gives me another trade, with the same instructions, Buy and hold on for 60 seconds and then sell. But I don't know how to do that. Bitcoin goes up and up.
I'm amazed at how this professional group is able to do this.

She said that I can't trade on Coinbase because it doesn't offer the features that her platform does. On her platform, she can Buy and hold on to it and Sell it in 60 seconds. You can't do that with Coinbase.
So she wants me to transfer all of my Coinbase money into the platform she uses, which is:
BitContractPro

She has $100,000 in her account. She averages $10,000 a month.
She will teach me how to trade on that platform.

trust no one this space, everyone tends to put themselves first and that's okay, I'm my number one priority.
If the lady's so eager to help, let her share the platform with you, you make your research too to be sure you're not been mislead even though your story says so already.
Be careful, women are not an exemption of scamming activities this days.

Well it might not be illegal from your own view and perspective but like zlantann said some religious actually see this act as an ill act and its probably not welcome by them and if the father is a Muslim then I think his reason for rejecting the money justifies his claim but thats if the son is in a stage where he can't decide for himself because possessing such money can even make the son disown the father if its calls for it because money always come with a spirit that changes or amplifies someone character.

I can agree to religion being the reason why the father is against the money and as for the age i doubt it has anything to do with that.

I did a little search on the news and found at that the son is 19 years old which in most case is old enough to make his decision, and I also fount out that the day is not as rich as others as suspected him to be, and according to the image below the family is currently behind two months house rent payment.

If I'm in such situations, I'd rather disown my dad nor return the money, with the aid of my siblings and mum, I could play that I've returned the money while I hid it somewhere and watch him do his things, soon the young child will be an adult and would need to start a life, then I'll build my world with my money and my dad will have no choice but to accept me and my new world.
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you cheat in gambling? on: June 27, 2023, 07:57:19 AM
What's the possibility of cheating a betting site or casino.
But to be sincere, I can't give an accurate respond to whether I'll cheat or not until I am caught up in the situation, what you term cheating may not be so to me.

Once a casino was having a down time, the where to pay me 72$ but mistakenly paid 20$ over, I know so many person's would say their luck had shone on them but I made a report and I was awarded 2.5% of the 20$ that is 5$, it may not be much but at least I got my dignity and self respect, imagine if I didn't make an attempt to return the money and the eventually get to find out (I doubt they'd have found out though)
4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you find it offensive to be referred to as an addicted gambler? on: June 27, 2023, 07:48:17 AM
Many people find it difficult to accept who they are and the bad habits that they have, accepting a habit is the first step that will determine if any help offered to you will work. As a gambler, will you find it offensive if you are referred to as a gambling addict? will you easily accept it or try to give excuses like some other people do, saying that they are not addicted to gambling when the signs are clearly there. Do you think identifying as an addicted gambler will make people stereotype you. The answer is different for every gambler here.
well, like I said in a post earlier, so many addicts do not know they're addicts, the may never even know but they're best ways to make things known to people and they'd appreciate, if I'm an addict, it's not wise you call me that to my face, it makes it look like we have a problem and I may never regard you.

They're best approaches to matters, seek the right approach and watch the persons involved celebrate you.
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Easy or hard to quit? on: June 27, 2023, 07:43:10 AM
Can you quit gambling if you make a life changing money and never go back to gambling?
I am not gambling to make money, I gamble for fun, but making sure I am not wasting money on gambling. But if my work takes most of my time, I will prefer not to gamble because I put where that I make money from to be first.

Have you ever won a high amount of money from gambling and managed to not lose them all back to gambling? And to date, you are still gambling?
Yes but not so big to make a life fortune. I do not know how to answer this than saying that I have weekly budget for gambling which is very small in amount and I do not go more than it.
when y'all say you don't gamble to make money but rather for the fun of it, trust me I get confused.
Is it that you don't make earnings from gambling or, you don't have a strategy with which you gamble with??

What happens to your earnings from gambling since you're not gambling for the money.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble Responsibly on: June 27, 2023, 06:16:47 AM
I still hard to believe if a gambling addict will stop and realized if they was wrong with their gambling habit, because there are many gambling addict get forced by their parents to not gamble and get kicked from their company, but it doesn't make them to stop gambling.

There's nothing wrong about this thread, but if you hope you can help an addict by creating this thread, you shouldn't hope to high.
I think this is because most addicts are in ignorance, it takes a very responsible person to know when they're doing too much.
Gambling is very seductive, the sweet offers lure you in more and more on a daily that you at a point are not interested in how much you've invested in it but you rather interested in bringing the bag home.
7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Advice when you are going a bit far in gaming and betting on: June 27, 2023, 06:11:56 AM
People often underrate the power of being in perpetual lose, you can set into depression without you even knowing it, I speak out of what I've seen, not what I've heard..

A lot of people ignore their mental health for the bag and it's not wise, take a break when necessary, speak to people about your journey so far, help may come from there, discipline your expenses and, guard the amount you spend on gambling.
8  Economy / Gambling / Re: Without money, does it still qualify as gambling? on: June 27, 2023, 06:00:50 AM
Have you heard of Superpicks on DSTV? where you can make predictions and win money without staking your money?

if you have not, check it out. Superpicks.com

My question is can it still be called gambling if it is not played with money?

I think yes as you are predicting the future and predicting the future it is called gambling because no one can predict the future correctly always, sometimes we see and choose the favorite team to win in a sport event but most of the time everybody is on a losing run.

This can also increase your desire to start real gambling with real money once you get used to it so even if it is not called gambling in the beginning,it has super high chances leading you to gambling so I would put this in the gambling category.
This is kinda funny because how would you say that "you predicting the  future and predicting the future is called gambling", what if I predict that there is going to be rain tonight and the rain eventually falls which means I have predicted the future but does actually mean that I have gamble ? Answer=NO, because gambling has to be involved with taking of risk and predicting an unknown outcome with a possible result of you losing something that is involved which is the risk so even you predicting games with no risk involved is actually not gambling.
I completely understand your point, but, what happens in a case where you have free predictions to win a prize, if that's not gambling too, what Is it??
9  Economy / Gambling / Re: Top 50 gambling Instagram & TikTok accounts on: June 27, 2023, 05:55:41 AM
I want to ask this question for a while now and I think this is a good opportunity, are gambling influencers real gamblers? Or they are just doing their influencing job to attract many people into gambling? Because I find it very hard to believe that all gambling influencers are into gambling, many of them don't even want anything to do with gambling, but as a influencer for different types of casinos, they will make a lot of money from those casinos, way more than being a crypto influencer.
You've answered the question yourself already mate, most of the gambling influencers, don't even know their way around gambling, they only put out what's needed with the help of the casino and this is why it's expedient you get to make your own research before using a gambling platform, if you trust everything that's put out to be white, it's at your own peril
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there real sports bet groups on: June 27, 2023, 05:51:19 AM
Because I believe that if anyone knows a way to change their life around, they won't tell anyone, they will enjoy the moments and pray it last forever.

you make it sound very real, I on the other hand do not think this phylosophy is common to everyone, they're people who would painstakingly let people into their space and teach them what the know, you can say I'd not show you the entire strategy I use, now that's real and good for me, I can't give you water to drink, teach you how to put it in your mouth and still teach you how to swallow, they're things you have to figure out yourself.
11  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin trading be my sole source of income? on: June 27, 2023, 05:44:58 AM
As a young person, I am overwhelmed by my curiosity in trading Bitcoin, but I'm not sure if it is appropriate for me to resign my white collar work and return to trading exclusively Bitcoin.

This was a conversation a buddy of mine and I had yesterday, and I felt compelled to bring it to this illustrious platform for the best types of advice and counsel.

Is it safe for a Bitcoin trader to quit their jobs and focus solely on Bitcoin trading if they can devote their time and attention to maximize the benefits in the Bitcoin world?
except there's another reason why you'd want to quit your job, I personally think it's not necessary.

What grounds have you attained in trading, how much have you earned so far and what's the guarantee or confidence you have that Bitcoin would be able to meet up your daily demands, answer this questions and you'll get the advice you seek.

P.s, hope you they're days of dip and of dump, don't get overwhelmed, take your time.
12  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help and encourage newbies to grow. on: June 27, 2023, 05:34:06 AM
When i came into the forum I found It a little difficult finding my way around and could barely relate or reply to some posts but I took it upon myself to learn the ethics and norms of forum and know what it's all about. And as time went by my journey here became easier even though I'm still under a learning process.
I've come to understand that the forum is not a competition and everyone here have a say so far you're not going against the rules guiding the forum. So rather than being discouraged by some negative replys from senior ranking members, let your mistakes serve as your motivation, do not give up and don't be in a haste to do unnecessary things that would get you banned.
One other thing that's motivated me is the posts from high ranking members, so sometimes instead of rushing to reply I take my time in going through the profile of these members to see their post and take note of those quality contents that got them merited by others, we learn everyday and I believe that's one of the reasons why satoshi created the forum, feel free to ask questions so as to learn because the more you remain ignorant about things in the forum the lesser you grow.
The ideology of this post is to motivate newbies that find it difficult moving forward, cause I believe the're people that fall under such Category, feel free to drop some words of encouragement for them.

it's not unusual to find it difficult to fit in the forum and get used to it, most things in life proves difficult but with consistency and determination, you can easily crack the hard shell.

So for the newbies, there's a reason you are addressed as a newbie so don't get worked up or give giving up a thought, you'd be better with time
13  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I have been gone for a while on: June 27, 2023, 05:26:52 AM
Hello all,

Coming back here is nostalgy.
I was active here 2016-2020.

Wow, how things changed. I need to find my way here to fit in again.
2016-2020, your date registered shows June 2023, so what happened in 2020-2023???
Well, nothing serious has changed since in the forum and since you've been here before like you claim, I believe you'll know your way around.
14  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What your opinion? on: June 27, 2023, 05:08:23 AM
I really was having this question in mind to ask if it will advisable for somebody who want to start up trying doing online investment and chooses trade as perfect for him or her. What will be your advice for such person as a beginner into online Invertement. I want to hear your opinions if it right or wrong despite it risk,so what your opinion or advise .
to trade isn't the same thing as to invest, good thing you know they're risk involved in trading, so best thing to do is to get acquainted to how the system operates.
Read trading related courses, watch videos, get a mentor, whether offline or online, just get someone you can trust with questions.

15  Economy / Economics / Re: Look for what to invest, not what to eat on: June 26, 2023, 10:44:52 PM
I don't know why some people in this platform are looking for what to eat at the moment, not know that they can invest in a potential projects that will put food on their table, and they will not lack what to eat and what to spend in future. I saw some message in the Bitcointalk.org where some users are trying to sell their account just to get what to eat not knowing that they can use that account to work to get a huge capital that will bring them out from poverty, and make food surplus in their home. I knew some senior members in this forum that started using member rank to work before they get to legendary to spread many investments around the country, because they didn't look for what to eat at the moment than to work hard to used their opportunities to invested in BTC before they became who they are today.
Will you invest now or you will be like that person that is looking for what to eat? It will be favourable if you can change that attitude of selling what will make you great in future just because of what will survive you at the moment. No way you will invest in BTC today and you will not have something good to eat because, investment is like a seed planted in a due season to expect something good in the future. Is it a good thing to invest or is good to continue looking for what to eat?
What do you think.
you can not invest on an empty stomach, it takes only a physically and mentally stabled person to even as much as think towards the line of  investment.

I think you should rather suggest that while eating, one should also consider investing.
16  Economy / Economics / Re: What roles does the poor play in the Economy? on: June 26, 2023, 10:38:00 PM
What's your definition of poor, financially incapable??
What role do you expect the play??
Every class of personality is actually important in a society, the financially capable and incapable have their parts to play but that doesn't make them less human than the other.
17  Economy / Economics / Re: Has everyone become too pesimistic about the economy? on: June 26, 2023, 10:30:34 PM
I'm a pleb like most of you, and I too have, many times, become pesimistic about the economy in general and in what's about to come. But has anyone ever considered that,

- The economy is not going to crash into a recession
- That there will be an actual soft landing
- That the Russia - Ukraine war will not escalate into a European war
- That Gensler CAN'T truly ban crypto
- Institutional investors will come back and take Bitcoin to six digits

I'm probably missing more narratives, but you get the idea.
I can't say for my country, one minute we're happy that things are getting better, the next minute, we're drown in our fears.

It's worse now that we have a new leadership that is dreaded by even the young, we only pray for God's intervention else we're doomed
18  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: It's Bitcoin trust worthy on: June 26, 2023, 09:33:02 AM
Coming up with a topic which is your first on a forum dedicated to Bitcoin. Then asking a question about trust worthiness of Bitcoin, is stupidity. Bitcoin has been in existence for more than a decade. Try some Google search about it and you will find a lot of answers. Considering the amount of spam on this board. I think you just slided away from getting banned on this forum in a illiterate  manner as you could have got your answer by simply.doing a Google search.
this is rather too mean than necessary, isn't it best you had passed than give this as a response.

It's OP money, and there's no crime is trying to figure out how genuine what he intends going into is.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Without money, the knowledge is a waste on: June 25, 2023, 10:55:01 PM
Yes!
you got the topic very correct and I do mean it because after my last thread, I was actually wondering  the essences of having all the knowledge  about bitcoin and cryptocurrency at large and still don't have the money to buy, I just feel its a waste of effort and such a person  with all his knowledge  will definitely miss out of the opportunities in bitcoin and I'm  on the opinion  that people still need to always have some form of money at all time to buy bitcoin especially  at every instance a dip arises and I want to know the essence of wanting to crowd ones brain Brain with so much about bitcoin  when such a person doesn't have any more to buy rather than seeking ways to buy?
knowledge is power and no form of knowledge acquired is a waste, it may not be useful immediately but it will be useful definitely one day.

I completely disagree with you on this OP, I'll advice you do not put up things like this so as not to confuse the beginners, it's best to acquire as much knowledge as you can, you may have an opportunity where you share your knowledge with people and the pay you real good.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Newbie Crypto Advice on: June 25, 2023, 10:43:49 PM
Hello I am looking to invest my 20,000 dollars for retirement but I don't know the best crypto for me to put into to save myself from inflation. I'm 64 years old and don't have the time to learn the ins and outs of this crypto stuff so if anyone can give me advice I would appreciate it.
You can contact me through the forum or via email I appreciate the help
sorry sir but 20000 dollars isn't 2 dollars that you should be risk off on people's opinion, if you're sure this is what you want to do, I think you need to create the time to study and acquire more knowledge pertaining to it, just so when your given an advice by anyone, with the knowledge you may have acquired you'd know which advice is worth taking and which should be ignored.
