Arsenal are in a good place now but it is not yet time to say that the title is a piece of cake. With a shark breathing down your neck even a moment's hesitation can be a death trap.
With a shark down their neck, then they do have a bigger fish to fry. Wondering about what City does isn't the deal, the two teams left is their focus, then the Paris guys. I don't think Arsenal has to worry about what City does with those goals, they're behind, not in front of them, all they need do is stay consistent, a single winning goal or two in the remaining matches will make them champions, and that is what everyone believe is possible for Arsenal.
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Premier League 2025/2026 Discussion Thread ⚽ on: May 14, 2026, 11:34:30 PM
While all European domestic leagues have already found their champions, only the Premier League remains undecided. That's why I want Arsenal to finish their final season and secure the trophy. There are only two games left, and the points gap is still uncertain. This is exciting, but I feel sorry for the Arsenal players, whose energy is being drained until the end, plus they also have to prepare for the Champions League final.
This is something they caused for themselves, Arsenal players would have had enough moment and energy reserved for the Champions league finals alone, had they moved ahead of city with enough point gaps. However, it's better they pay for it with their last drop of sweat, than to lose out completely on the race. Two point gap, is not convincing enough, but, the two remaining games seem a bit fair to the Arsenal side on lifting the Premier league. Also the time interval in-between these two matches and the champions league finals is not alarming, the gunners will have time to prepare much better.
4  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Xenophobic attacks on foreigners. South Africa a nation that is not grateful. on: May 14, 2026, 11:16:58 PM
Thank god you know its complete envy and hatred because I am not sure of the harms caused by Nigerians over there in south Africa but all this are happening as they know Nigerians are doing better than them in all rectification. Know matter what I still remain on that already established thought where I recognized the selfishness and self-centered behavior of Nigerian politicians as the reasons behind all this nonchalant behaviors of south African citizens.
Nobody is perfect, and in every tribe or nation they're the bad eggs, but in this case where every Nigerian is seen as a victim, South African's are completely wrong for doing this, it's not their first time, this is a routine that comes like a wave, this minute they're calm, and the next it's chaos all over the place. The government won't do much to stop this, even the US government weren't able to stop the torturing of white farmers in South Africa. This behavior is now inculcated in them, and would hardly get stopped.
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which do you trust more? Sports bettting or gambling games on: May 14, 2026, 11:02:12 PM
I think sports are more predictable and have more predictable outcomes. With football, for example, we know very clearly that a match will last 90 minutes and there will be three goals from both sides. But with slots, everything is more random  there's no connection or logic there it's just random winnings, and that's just as good. Some people prefer a more predictable and calm game, while others prefer the thrill of an unpredictable outcome.
Same concept for most sport predictors, but they still find it hard to win just like the slot players. Sport looks more predictable, yet is so hard to predict, because it's a real life scenario that unfolds as the game goes, you never tell what happens next. Slot gives this conviction of winning to players as well and some gamers prefer it to sport for the fast response that comes with the game. The winning process is very fast and takes no time for analysis or predictions, you click and it's over in a few seconds of reels rolling up and down, with a win or loss. More than anything else, the fast return is what gets slot players glued to staying on the game, than moving into sport betting.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why i think Bitcoin Cash works better for everyday payments on: May 14, 2026, 11:59:00 AM
Nothing is wrong with bitcoin cash, it's been a long time I used the coin, but during the period I had a good number of bitcoin cash, transaction fees was nice, and from the responses above, the fees are still great. The thing with bitcoin cash over here is that the story behind it isn't great, so whatever goes with BCH, good or bad, won't take it out of the bitcoiner's mind who see it as a shitcoin as what they always saw it as in the past.
7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which do you trust more? Sports bettting or gambling games on: May 14, 2026, 11:47:18 AM
The interest always goes to what the gambler is familiar with and for a gambler that's familiar with sports betting, it's not even a matter of which is more profitable and which is not. Those that are familiar with sports betting will always go in that direction and will hardly change into casino and same is the case with those that are familiar with the casino.

As someone that finds sports like football really fun, it's not normal that I like sports betting more than most casino's and the simple reason is because it's easy to predict and gives me an impression that I'm in control of my game.
Sports and slot is hardly interchangeable, players stick with one, it's hard to find gamers who do both, slot holds its players, like sports does, and there are reliable. One can trust slot just as they do with sport because it's almost similar in terms of returns, no side wins better, it's pure luck.
8  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Xenophobic attacks on foreigners. South Africa a nation that is not grateful. on: May 14, 2026, 11:41:04 AM
I don't blame the South African citizens for all they are doing to Nigerian citizens seeking for a better life but blame the Nigerian government that never considered the interest of citizens but only there selfish interest,  if not for them what will an Average citizens of Nigeria seek in South Africa when we have all it takes to have a better life.
You don't have to say a thing like that, they is a right to immigrate if the regulatory officers doesn't refuse entry, these people are not causing the south African's any harm, it's pure envy, had it been illegal immigration, that's a whole different story. Why chase out people who are running successful businesses in your nation in the name of Xenophobic. Nigerians are not the only victims, even the whites are being tortured by South Africans, I see such news always on X, and don't think it's fake. They should get a life, and stop disturbing legal immigrants who are in great conduct the laws of the land.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can AI really help with sports betting, or are we overrating it? on: May 14, 2026, 11:25:00 AM
There are some platforms that do better than others yet the end result is like the other ones who do not perform as better. I am referring to platforms like Perplexity or Claude with their latest languange LLM and paid subscription you can get for some time as free trial. They do better analysis but the end is that they cannot predict outside factors like referee behavior or specific performance of each player and thus AI is just another option to you before you make up your mind.
Claude seem to be sophisticated, but some users claim that it advances based on the paid subscription, Grok does some wonders too, but not in gambling, these two would make the right analysis based on what is posed on the internet, team status; injuries, and strength, aside that, gamblers only need them to help with fixing up these information then choose right from themselves. Hoping on AI tools for predicting right is just another level of what used to happen with gamblers, when they assume that they should be a way or method to beat sport prediction.
10  Economy / Economics / Re: Earning salary or owning a business which is better on: May 14, 2026, 11:10:53 AM
People feels independence and financially stable if they own a business and also have the ability to make long term wealth. With a successful business people also make opportunities for other individuals and allows to other people to grow financially. But instead of these benefits owning a business is not easy because it requires a lot if hard work, patience and discipline and also the owning individual have the ability to manage risk and failures of the business. That why people avoid to start a business in starting because they have fear to loss in business and that main reason of there failure. With salary individuals may feel secure and stabled but they are limited to access the ambition's but business offers great financial potential. And currently there is lot of documentary on learning business and risk management which helps a lot of people to become successful entrepreneurs.
The early stage of any business is always tough, also, businesses have its own downside that makes people avoid going into running one as a full time job. Most startups leave the admin cashless for months, but with the right steps the owner would begin to see the profits and funds coming in, yet it never ends, the challenges keeps on replaying, and not all the people have the capacity to hold the pressure of running a business.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Premier League 2025/2026 Discussion Thread ⚽ on: May 14, 2026, 11:01:36 AM
Mind games won't work again because logically Arsenal is gonna win the rest of games. No more strong opponents, and they can win both of games. Burnley is so damn shite as well as Palace. I think they already secured their crown, though they have not yet played the two games remaining.
Even almost all of football fans are skeptical about Burnley and Palace will give a fight to Arsenal.

I think the winner is already decided. So congrats for Arsenal winning EPL again after more than 20 years of playing football in modern years.
Burnley would do no such thing, Palace was on the line of being a threat, but we all saw them play last night, and could testify that Arsenal won't stoop so low as to losing to both teams. Once, Burnley is dusted, I think the congratulations should be awarded to Arsenal already.
12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it a cause of concern if your employer frequent casinos? on: May 14, 2026, 10:52:48 AM
Going to the casino regularly will not be bad unless he bets beyond his ability . Even if he bets regularly for entertainment, if he betting within his ability , he will be able to survive in gambling for a long time. Since he owns a catering company, his financial condition may be quite good. So betting for entertainment will also keep his mental condition good. However, should be careful that he does not become addicted. Because many small businessmen have become addicted to gambling and have suffered a lot of financial losses due to greed and have had to sell their businesses and companies.
His business also stands a chance to go bankrupt over a huge gambling loss, it's tempting, and rare not to find him wagering money meant for the business. Frequenting the casino may not be a huge concern at the moment, because the employee who said this to Op, is not sure of the business that takes his employer to the house. Players do make friends, and from time to time go to the casino to discuss while gambling moderately, just like in the night club. However, if the employer, wagers too often while in the casino, then, the business would undergo a big trouble on the long term.
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2025/2026 on: May 14, 2026, 10:31:51 AM
Haaland is preparing for the finals against Chelsea on Saturday. Manchester City performance was pretty good yesterday and Palace wasn't a good match for them. Manchester City will be shocked that with all these their beautiful performances, Arsenal wouldn't lose any match till the end of the season. I believe it's Arsenal turn and nothing can change that.
I hope so, Arsenal has held down on most team they played lately, and doesn't look like they'll be losing a single game again, especially in the premier league. However, spectators I sat with last night in the City and Palace game, confessed that Arsenal's game is boring, but that's not what matters right now. All is required of the gunners is to win their games, not play some fanciful games to impress viewers. Okay, thanks, I never knew of the FA Cup finals with Chelsea, I think City would be taking that trophy home, unless Chelsea pulls up an unexpected surprise along the line.
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2025/26 Season on: May 14, 2026, 10:21:51 AM
I agree with you that Arsenal's defense has  really improved. They have been unbeaten for a long  time. It is very difficult for any  team to break down arsenal's defense now. But at the same time we can also see poor performance from arsenal's attacking players.
Arsenal scored  only three goals in the  4 matches of the quarter-finals and  semi-finals of the champions league. And conceded only  1 goal. Arsenal wil l probably play defensively against psg and try not to concede goals.
Defensive play against PSG would not be fully recommended for Arsenal, although it'll help lower down the tactical counter attacking prowess of PSG, but once it's cracked, the Arsenal side would suffer more loss. It's best to balance the process, make some powerful attacking moves, then balance back at the back, because that's where PSG builds their strength, they let you attack, then move faster to score when your defense is weakened from the strength of players who went to press on their end.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2025/2026 on: May 14, 2026, 10:01:15 AM
You are right, Arsenal can’t bottle the league from the point. Had it been the two teams they are playing in their remaining games has something to fight for it would have been different. None of the two teams left for them in the premier league has something to fight for. Crystal Palace would have been stubborn if not for the conference league final they are playing. I wouldn’t blame Crystal Palace because any other team would have done the same thing.
Crystal Palace has a poor defensive plan, from what happened last night with City, they weren't able to defend attacks that well. Their poor performance would give Arsenal an upper hand in bringing them down in their next encounter. At the start of the game some people thought they'll be capable of holding City to a goalless draw, but Semenyo broke that spell, I was wondering why Guardiola didn't play Haaland, what is he preparing him for?
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2025/26 Season on: May 13, 2026, 02:29:48 AM
PSG also has a more solid defense and a strong attack, so Arsenal must not only think defensively, but also think about how to score goals and how to exploit the situation as the match progresses. Because if PSG wins the Champions League again this season, PSG will be the first team capable of back-to-back Champions League titles, following Real Madrid, Juventus, and AC Milan, who have also won three consecutive titles in the past.
PSG has the experience of playing in the champions league final more than Arsenal, but the game would be on a level play ground, whoever takes the lead both in attacking and defensive force wins the game. This is a game between two smart managers, nobody knows what the outcome would become, but I'm very optimistic that Arsenal would end up winning the match.
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Single bet the best option when it comes to Gambling. on: May 13, 2026, 02:21:17 AM
That is true but most gamblers feels they will be losing out completely if they place a single bet, it all boils down to trust and the ability to make more money if gamble separately.

Most gamblers feels multiple bet that is spreading your games makes you more relaxed and stable in other to avoid excess losses and not to get brokendown easily, they feel not all the game will be lost at least one must be favourable to them and less risky than single bet.
Single games requires big funds to turn into reasonable profits, that aside, it's a solicity for big club lovers, who do not care much about anything else but staking on the conviction that their favorite team, player, or goal keeper, would do a certain action in a match. It's a lovable method of playing, which not for the traditional kind of gambler, who would want to triple their profits, it's meant for full time sport lovers, who value their team, and could go in, on a high amount on a single game. Many atime those who cry over losing a game belong to this category of gamblers.
18  Economy / Economics / Re: Trump is considering a new military attack again on: May 13, 2026, 12:59:56 AM
Trump won't stop trolling Iran, he has about five allies in the middle east who he informed about this attack long enough, during his visit to the middle east, before feasting on Iran. US under president Trump will never succumb to Iran owning a nuclear weapon, if they do, then all other friends of his in the middle east would stop taking his talks seriously. No other reputation matters to a leader like his words, that is what everyone remembers the most, and would use against them anywhere. As for the money spent in making this a success, US can never run out of military budget, it's their thing, and don't forget they're the highest oil producing country in the world, they can attack Iran for life and not feel like a drop of funds left their pause, instead they'll make more money in the proceeds.
19  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The faults of the nation on: May 13, 2026, 12:43:16 AM
Responsibility to a good or bad government depends on both government and the people. The government is the people and the people are the government. A person from among the people become the leader over the people, and has the mandate to listen  to the people when ever they call for help, while the people should also work hand in hand with there leader to have a smooth and peaceful rule.
We complain when majority of what happened during the rule of a leader is caused by us, for example a leader with no goal and purpose for the people campaign and offering gifts. This kind of person will have more followers that someone that have a good agendee for the people, but maybe he doesn't have much funds to bribe people for them to vote for him.
Who makes up a nation? the people. Every other thing is a term or name. Government is a term, people are there, and act based on what they're being told. When people begin to think better or build a structure that encourages good conduct, the nation would be at peace and harmony, with every citizen enjoying all the resources generated from the nation.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Privacy almost looking abnormal online. on: May 13, 2026, 12:26:03 AM
Those who think total control is a good idea have been sunk with the idea that the government sells to them that all this is being done for their own protection; the world is turning into the only place you can consider yourself not being watched by the government is when you are in your restroom built by yourself and not even in a public place. Aside from all the KYC bullshit, there are literally some cameras watching while they are supposed to be for other purposes.
Phones have recorders and cameras in it, these two things work for both the Government and the advertisers, multiple times have I noticed that after conversing with a friend about a certain service, I start to see a related ad on that same service pop up on major sites I visit. It never happened ones or twice, the relationship tallied a lot that I had to notice it, sooner, people would begin to go for phones with no internet connections, there are more ok for usage, and protects privacy.
