While I’m pro-choice, I also feel that this is total government overreach.

182  Other / Politics & Society / Re: North Korea demands Japan pay compensation for sinking fishing boat - KCNA on: October 12, 2019, 12:46:44 PM
From the Washington post:

“ The North Korean vessel made an unauthorized entry into Japan’s exclusive economic zone, Fisheries Agency official Satoshi Kuwahara told reporters. He said the two ships collided as the Japanese patrol boat was warning the North Korean vessel to leave.”

It seems like North Korea is at fault, so I doubt they will see a dime.   Japan will be releasing the video soon.

183  Other / Off-topic / Re: 10 years of bitcoin! on: October 12, 2019, 03:12:47 AM
I’m proud to be involved with bitcoin 7 of those 10 years.    It’s only uphill from here!
184  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How much do you think Bitcoin.com is worth, what price would Roger sell? on: October 12, 2019, 03:10:45 AM
Based on BItcoin Cash price and traffic estimates I would sell at 10-15m USD

I’ll take e.  PM me when it fills please.
186  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Antivaccination propaganda here and there. on: October 12, 2019, 01:41:12 AM
Some people say that 'let AVs alone, it's their problem'. The thing is vaccines work decently only when a specific percentage of people are vaccinated. So we are to hold back AV propaganda.

Except when one sees the junk and garbage in modern vaccines, one realizes that vaccines are poison. Sure, they work well only when a large percent of the population is vaccinated, but what is working well? If you poison only a few people with vaccines, you don't get your desired goal. Poison a bunch so that you get your desired effect.

Cool

I don’t care if they make me glow in the dark.  Ive never gotten smallpox, measles, mumps, rubella, polio or anything else I’ve been vaccinated for.   Oh, except the flu, which I only had for two days because I had built up a decent immunity due to vaccines.  Do you have an argument for antiviral drugs for people with HIV as well?

This is what happens when you give greedy capitalists control over a basic utility that everyone depends on.

Another example of how government overreach and the ultra-liberal agenda affects real human beings:

188  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Democrats are moving the goal posts, shifting from Russia to Racism on: October 12, 2019, 01:26:41 AM
I’m by no means a trump fan, but I agree with you.  I don’t know what happened before the last election but both parties shifted and almost became fringe parties.   It became more clear than ever that the 2 party system is ultimately broken.  I didn’t know who to vote for because all viable candidates were way too far left or right for me to even bother voting.

I don’t want open borders, and I don’t want higher taxes.  But I also think women should have a say in what they do with their uterus and think war should be avoided at all costs.   What do I do now?
189  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [RAFFLE] Kialara Labyrinth Silver Balls #626 on: October 12, 2019, 01:18:53 AM
I’m interested but I feel like the ticket price is a bit high.   16 x .0065 = 0.104

I think at about 2/3 of that price you would get this to fill up nicely.
190  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Auction] Sail the High Seas 2018 #11 Coin | No Minimum + No Increment! on: October 12, 2019, 01:10:15 AM
0.0001 BTC
191  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [RAFFAUCTION] 6-Prizes|Satori Chip, Graded Binary, BP Stickers, KY Coins & More! on: October 12, 2019, 12:51:59 AM
4 tickets at .0003 BTC
192  Economy / Goods / Re: Gameboy Pocket for sale, if there is a market for that on: October 11, 2019, 06:52:54 PM
While there definitely is a market for it, the value is only about $30. You would have to decide if it’s worth it for you.
193  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin 10 Years From Now on: October 11, 2019, 06:22:33 PM
My hope is that in 10 years bitcoin will be able to be used just like a credit card or Apple Pay.    Imagine if apple starts supporting bitcoin? You would be able to spend it by tapping your phone.
194  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Will you use a Facebook coin? on: October 11, 2019, 03:19:45 PM
If it is a stablecoin and has limited investment value, I may buy some to use for my kids.
They are always playing FB games so if it can be used as in-app currency it would be convenient to be able to keep my credit cards numbers out of my children’s phones.
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you sell your entire crypto right now with 500 percent profit? on: October 11, 2019, 02:29:43 PM
I would not sell.  I truly believe that in 10 years time I would be kicking myself for not having bought more.  Just like right now I regret selling all the coins I did when bitcoin was at $1000
196  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Eckmar's Marketplace Script v2.0 [MULTI-COIN] [TOR] [DEMO] on: October 11, 2019, 12:17:55 PM
By any chance do you have a demo running on an onion link so I can see how fast it loads over tor?
197  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Where do you stand on abortion? Let's have a civil debate. on: October 11, 2019, 12:12:27 PM
I don’t have a uterus.   So I believe I should have no say in what other people do with theirs. I don’t think it should be used as a form of birth control but I think it is a better alternative than raising an unwanted and unloved child.
198  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Is there anyway to buy alcohol online with bitcoin? on: October 11, 2019, 03:04:26 AM
I would specifically be interested in buying absinthe online with btc if anyone has leads.
199  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Backup your Private Keys ! (Before it's too late) on: October 11, 2019, 02:11:25 AM
I would recommend against using OP’s advice on a net connected computer.  More simple, write it down with pen and paper and jam it into a fireproof safe.
200  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Religion of Peace? Why Religion At All on: October 11, 2019, 02:09:06 AM
You can find Islamic peace without Islam. And when it's without Islam, it's without the violence written right into the Koran and Hadiths - http://www.thereligionofpeace.com/quran/023-violence.htm.

Cool

Or we could abandon religion altogether? Jihad, crusades, slavery.  Religion brings very little good in this world compared to the mass atrocities it creates.
