It took awhile and didn't go exactly as planned but the coin arrived today and was dropped into the Salvation Army kettle this evening. I did snap some quick pics of the coin for everyone and even though the coin has been donated there is still time to add some bitcoin to it, and any bit helps. Coin address - 1BTCA3A5xuN6NoM6STcak3L5nPGE2noAKx  Did the coin actually fit into the bucket??? Seems like the capsule might be just a bit too big..... It did fit but barely, I took a short video of the bucket and a young man who works at the store helped by putting the coin in while I recorded. I think the SA could get a lot more funds if they turned around and auctioned the coin. I'm sure the "community" stamp on the coin would make it fetch a high price. |

Ive attempted to sign from my main address. Ive never done it before, so I don't know if it worked.

It belongs in this section. Most of the collectibles guys are aware by now (at least the "core" group is, as we shared it in our chat). Also, I've left a neutral feedback on your trust page pointing here to increase visibility. The wallet I use does not allow sigs as per the guide. Ill let the dust settle for a day or two & then figure things out. And thanks for spreading the word. You can export a key to another wallet then sign from there... |
