1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Introducing Bitfresh - iGaming with 90s UI on: March 21, 2021, 04:07:56 AM
Hello everyone! We understand there are concerns about the lack of updates in this thread and our Telegram channel. Rest assured that the project is still ongoing and in heavy development.

Due to recent increase in Tron Network fees, Bitfresh is doing a whole revamp and migrating into the WAX ecosystem. This has made the whole team focus 100% on this during the past couple of weeks, for this some of our communication channels have been more silent. Rest assured that while our official mainnet release might be delayed a few months, we are 100% on track to complete the project. We love what we are doing and are committed to deliver to our loving community.

This thread has been updated with the latest news, and soon a new Whitepaper will be delivered with all the new plans and mechanics Bitfresh on WAX will have.

As I read Bitfresh platform uses RNG-certified game providers and provably-fair technology for in-house games. Can you please explain what RNG-certified means?

Hello Asssoryash,

RNG means Random Number Generation.  RNG-certified means the games are provably fair.  But I would also like to know how they are doing the provably fair aspect of the gaming.

Cheers,

Waya

Thanks for pitching in! That is exactly what we mean. Though at first we will only work with in house game, yet eventually we will have to integrate ourselves with game providers to remain competitive. When doing so we will make sure to only work with RNG certified providers.

As for the question at hand, we use the most common pattern to keep our games provably fair. All of our rolls take a client generated seed as part of the RNG generation, this seed is always unknown by the house as it is created client side. In the future we will consider letting the user manually input his seed.

The current implementation uses three seeds:

- User seed
- Blockchain hash
- House seed. Which is committed before the user sends its seed, and revealed one block after and merged with previous blockhash.

This commination of seeds during RNG make our games probably fair and tamper safe for all users.

Is there a white paper to clarify your project? With the BFT token, each user will get dividends in the form of tokens back or USD ?. I am more interested in your project. hopefully soon it can clarify in order to find out

Thanks for your inquiry, as Jemzx00 pointed our you can get to our whitepaper here.

As for your particular question: Dividends will come in the form of the currently accepted currencies. At first it will be only TRX, yet as the platform grows more and more mainstream currencies will be onboarded.

Let me know if you have further inquiries.

I think it is good decision to build Bitfresh on the TRON ecosystem as TRON offers a comfortable and convenient architecture for iGaming deployment and I'm agree with that

Thanks for this! We think Tron offers solid foundations for iGaming while there are also plenty of successful gambling dApps built on top of it.

Idea is good. I have seen similar project but they all failed cause of bad final product. It all needs to be working with 0 lag bug etc. Those are the best set backs for this kind of project.

We agree 100% on this. Scalability and usability are top priority to us.

Long time no see - something new to the dice scene.

When do you plan to run live, out of Alpha, the Old-school UI without clutter?

Good luck!

Thanks a lot for the appreciation. We expect to reach beta on mainnet in the following 2-4 weeks.

I like that there are many interesting game mechanics here like automatical betting, some hidden jackpots and community challenges Smiley

It makes me happy to read this Smiley

Old school games sounds pretty interesting Smiley Also very cool when you are rewarded for your playtime as the platform grows - it motivates people

Thanks a lot for the feedback! I'm glad you like the system. What type of rewards would you like to see in the platform?

I was hope that the game is not only dice or coin flip games, even gambling site that have more than 10 games is enough to makes people bored, I talk about more many games, as provided on the roobet because it's too small if only few games playable.

We understand what you mean and you are right. We are just starting and looking to build this from the ground up with your feedback. What games would you like to see?

Maybe, but sometimes people's tastes are different from others. It cannot be with only one form, it will create limitations. But your idea to give users reward maybe interesting to do, like if someone achieve an achievement, then there will be a reward for him. The reward could be in all forms, like free roll or another thing.

Excellent feedback! We do like the variance on the rewards, is there any other particular reward form you have in mind?

Basically Bitfresh provides a secure and transparent blockchain-based gaming platform, we heart about it in other projects already. More interesting to know more about range of games provided Smiley

Thanks a lot for getting back at us! I want to invite you to check our website and Alpha platform to see our unique design and experience, our value proposition goes beyond being transparent or secure. We have:

- One of a kind retro looking design with desktop like experience
- Dividen sharing and in house token economics
- Community based
- The transparency you might expect from any blockchain based casino
- Many more to come Wink

Hello welcome to the forum I'm not quite sure you will be moved to other topic there is a casino here wherein if you deposit they will exchange your currency to another token which is the same concept as you have and if you are going to withdraw it you can withdraw it to Bitcoin or Ethereum right? Well I was looking forward on your launch I would love to test and play on this kind of graphics this is very new to me something like retro or something.

Thanks a lot for the warm welcome! At this point we do not support depositing or withdrawing in neither ETH or BTC, but will likely do so in the future. If you don't mind playing on the testnet you can check out our current alpha platform here https://alpha.bitfresh.win/. I hope you enjoy it! Feedback is welcomed and rewarded.

There's no platform to check yet since it's in alpha and I don't want to just give my email or be bothered creating a new one just to test your platform.

Out of curiosity, why did you choose the name Bit"fresh" when your UI is 90s? Isn't that ironic? It doesn't look "fresh" so maybe change it to something close to nostalgic or maybe classic?

Exactly what I thought too since the website looks like Windows NT interface. It doesn't match up with the word "fresh". But then I also remember there was a defi project successful somehow named DIEGO that has this kind of interface as well. I wonder if the developers are related.

Anyway, I notice its on TRON and I guess you will also be releasing TRC20 tokens for stakeholders and dividends.

We like the name. It's funny because we almost didn't pick it. Deciding on a name is a difficult process. Nothing suited us, but Bitfresh popped out of the conversation. We thought from that point on, it was perfect. We can't tell if it's ironic or not, only that we love it and people will do too  Cool.

The platform there isn't on the mainnet yet, but you can access it using our alpha url in the meantime. No email address required.

For the time being a TRC20 is the plan. Though we are not married to any blockchain platform at this stage. We are also not related or affiliated with DIEGO in anyway.

Upon checking your get started page, you are encouraging the users to join your ambassador program to get an early access and exclusive benefits. May I know if what are your general requirements for your Ambassador program?

I am a little bit curious, as I am sure that not anyone can participate and become an Ambassador for sure so it will be good if you can drop also an additional details about your Ambassador program so the visitors will not waste their time if they can see that they don't have the required requirements.

There are no general requirements to join the program Smiley For this reason we encourage everyone to join, there is no wasting time while doing so. With our ambassador program anyone can get early access to our platform and exclusive rewards. These rewards will be based in the merit of the actions you take as an ambassador, for this reason we have no requirements as long as you wish to be part of our bounty program.

Welcome to the forum, I noticed about the 90's UI I really love those graphics of yours I'm getting bored of the casinos with almost the same modern designs. An answer to your question about not having a Bitcoin offered I'm afraid that you may need to remove your thread to appropriate section but I hope you would add Bitcoin so you would be able to post it here and find more possible players.

Thanks a lot! We are glad you love the graphics and thanks for letting us know about the section. We are seriously considering making the move you suggest.

It's great to know that there would be having a new casino here in the forum. Welcome! by the way it's too bad that you doesn't offer Bitcoin yet, I don't think the mods will move your topic since you are not operating yet and you still have chance to add Bitcoin on your website.

Thanks for commenting our thread!

We do not accept BTC at this moment, does that mean we need to move our thread?
Yes, if the platform only uses other cryptocurrencies then you should move your thread at Service Announcements on Alternate cryptocurrencies Tokens(Altcoins)as it fits on there. If I am correct, this section is for gambling platforms that involve bitcoin and other cryptos. Or rather you can lock this thread and create another thread there since the platform may accept bitcoin in the future.

Thanks a lot for that idea! Locking this thread and opening another one at the altcoins section sounds like good advice. We will definitely look into that and do something about it soon. You are right, we will surely accept Bitcoin in the future, yet it is not the case right now.

Yes, the to games we currently have are coinflip and the classic dice game with auto betting.

It would be a great gambling site if it involve other games that gamblers can play. Dice game is a great and a classic gambling game but it is too common but a coinflip is rather a unique gambling game.

We do plan on adding more games and trying to innovate leveraging the retro look we have. We started out with the dice game because it is a crypto classic and the auto bet mechanic with token minting is great for miners and investors alike.

We do have promotional plan and we plan launching a signature campaign.
Signature campaign would be a great way to introduce and advertise Bitfresh platform throughout the forum and you could do some promotional contest and giveaways as it attracts attention to the forum.
As the writing of this post we are on test net, we do want get user feedback prior to our launch and mainnet deployment, for this reason we have not really started to pump the gas on promotion. We believe focusing on user feedback at this stage will help us deliver a better product and experience.  You can check our alpha app at: https://alpha.bitfresh.win/
You could do a promotional campaign where users will be rewarded to provide feedback to the gambling platform. I will check out this platform and provide a feedback about the experience.

We indeed have a bounty program in our pipeline, which will include a signature campaign, social sharing as well as doing usability tests and providing feedback to the platform. We figured we should first announce ourselves, have some initial interactions with the community and then launch our bounty campaign.

After testing the platform, I can say that it brings the old school vides of playing games on old PC which is such a classic. However, there are a lot of space in the platform which may indicate more games will be added soon. Also, after testing some games it got stuck flipping the coin after I did an all in bet, it is also slows on flipping the coin with lower bets.

Would you be so kind in providing more information on what you saw? We would love to understand better and be able to reproduce. Consider joining our Discord server to share your input and help us build a better Bitfresh.

This may be align to gambling but if there's some kind of token sale involved I think you should move this to Altcoins Announcement (Tokens) board as it's more appropriate to post this kind of stuff. Look for the "move" button link on the bottom-left corner of this thread to proceed.

Thanks a lot of the suggestion, this will be taken into account and moved there if we see it fit.

There is no issues with token sale or something. The site can still be able to remain in the Gambling section.
But if they don’t accept BTC as one of the payment system (deposit, withdraw ) then surely our beloved mods will move this thread to the respective section.

We do not accept BTC at this moment, does that mean we need to move our thread?

At the start, there will be only two games

Will you like to provide the names of those? This will help us to be known for the thing that we are waiting for.
Moreover is there any kind of promotional plan for promoting the site?
A signature campaign can really help you guys to find the potential gamblers and investors in the site.
