41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Grin | PoW Mining | Electronic transactions for all. Community driven. on: February 18, 2019, 03:55:33 PM
After almost a day mining cuckatoo31 with bminer 15.0.0 it seems the rejected shares run around 15%, so the actual poolside rate is 0.6-0.65 G/s. Someone else will have to answer the 2080ti question.

All my cards (GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1070 G1 Gaming with crappy fans) report 8GB+ of available memory. But again, running on Ubuntu, not sure how those numbers are on Win. I can confirm that Vegas are still not supported by bminer for cuckaroo29 on Win.

bminer 15.0.0 supports mining of cuckatoo31 with 8GB cards, but does not support Win 10 yet. Got 0.75 G/s per 1070 on Ubuntu 16.04.

bminer -uri cuckaroo29://BOB%%40GMAIL.COM%%2FRIGNAME:PASSWORD@us-east-stratum.grinmint.com:3416 -api 127.0.0.1:1880
Thanks ! Got both my cards mining at GrinMint now !
How is the share acceptance? I just ordered another 1070 to pump that hashrate up.

The 1080ti moved over about twelve hours ago, and the 2080ti moved over about six hours ago.

EDIT: Also, I'm not sure how I overlooked this, but grinmint has a 2 GRIN min payout.

EDIT2: A few hours later...

It was 0.01 GRIN limit two days ago...

Not been on here much this weekend but I was at the game Friday night. It was cold, raining badly but a great win. Man City lost today so we are 4 points clear yes.

Still a long way to go but looking very good.

Enjoy your night micG!

Speaking of Man City - Crystal Palace, how'd you like Townsend's goal? Gotta be up there this season...

80% down from high, still possible to go further down... just dollar cost average buys, it should work out

Blood on the streets stage approaching and stuff...

When are we in the infinite supply at 0,3  Roll Eyes Grin Cheesy

Long after the next ATH.  And what you said sort of not make sense.  It should be named a fixed 432 XMR/day supply.

You mean 216 XMR/day supply?

Selling Obelisk SC1 miner and PSU. It has been hashing happily at siamining.com since the October 31 hard fork.

If required, escrow with OgNasty or philipma1957 at buyer’s expense.

Looking for $4500 including shipping in US only via USPS Priority Mail. If buyer arranges for shipping at their expense, price will be lowered. Expected ship time is next USPS business day after receipt of funds by myself or escrow agent. Payment accepted in BTC, LTC, or XMR.

Is anyone here bullish in USD terms for this year?

For the first time since 2015 I’ve run out of hopium.

It just looks so bleak. 😔

Your capitulation makes me bullish.
Every time when it was way too silent around Monero we peaked suddenly and very high.

I fully expect to pay out the guess the 777 date game this year.

Two batches May and June, after algo change.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: March 15, 2018, 09:36:16 AM
12k USD for May batch, and 8k for June, but they are selling like hotcakes. I guess Bitmain will wait for the algo change, adjust and then ship the miners:

Anyone want to venture how this will affect price?
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: March 03, 2018, 01:54:54 PM
As I said before, easy 4 figs this year.

I think for that we need to decouple from BTC's trajectory. But it will happen, hopefully this year. XMR has more than enough to stand on its own merits.

Hashrate over 1 GH/s... Beautiful
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: February 02, 2018, 10:32:04 PM
Hey Guys, is now a good time to buy Monero? Im not sure what to do  Huh

I'd invest in Electroneum, similar but cheaper.

Please explain how similar is it to Monero. Obviously it is a fork of XMR. And they do have an iOS wallet by their dev team, both funded from ICO proceeds. What kind of contribution is that coin making in the privacy arena, or is it just a money grab?
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: February 02, 2018, 06:51:45 PM
Note increased volume in Monero and also BTC looks the same at a glance

Yep, we are suddenly tracking it. In the past it's been an inverse relationship, but occasionally we've synced up, and rallied alongside BTC, which is a perfect situation if you have both.

The only thing is - BTC needs to hold the high 8K range - and that's not something I would bank on, even over the weekend...

Let's keep out fingers crossed that actually was the BTC bottom and hitch a ride up with it - we certainly look one of the better alts just now.

Whatever the reasons, a good time as any to reload... from fiat
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: January 20, 2018, 12:21:39 AM
The fact there is now (I hope legitimate) iOS wallet and Coinomi testing XMR solution might bring new adoption levels... might be the reason for the gentle pump going on.
