61  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What 🛠are the advantages 🔝of playing poker💵 on: July 18, 2019, 04:35:57 PM
To be fair personally I find there is no advantage of playing poker online but in real life it's a whole different experience. In live it's pretty easy to blef and understand emotions of your opponents, of course in this situation playing of poker is advantage compared to slots, roulette and other games because here you can feel, understand how others react in different situations, how their mimics change and etc.
There is a huge difference between doing it online and doing it in real life in a casino. However, you cannot deny the benefits and advantages of playing poker online. It teaches you skills and enable you to think strategically. If you play online and then switch to casino poker, you might be able to perform not so bad unlike the case when you start it directly at a casino.
62  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will there be physical casinos operating with cryptos in the future? on: July 18, 2019, 03:40:13 PM
Seems you want to totally avoid fiat while using physical casinos where you currently are, right?
What you asked for should be possible especially in Crypto friendly countries...afterall, there are cryptocurrency atm in some countries these days.
Even if he does not like fiat and loves to gamble using crypto, there is no possibility for fiat to disappear from the local casinos because that is the sign of getting rich by actually going into the houses. The sight of fiat actually lures the layman to get in the gambling. That is more like a psychological advertisement. In addition, there is huge possibility that he might be able to gamble in a casino using his crypto.
63  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin seems to drop faster than rises on: July 17, 2019, 05:30:34 PM
Yes, it's the fact that bitcoin value can't stay in the sky so if you want to make profit from it, follow the trend until it reach highest peak.
But if it's too late, you still can hold it for few months , years until it reach your expectation.

Remember that you're follow the trend not the trend following your need
That's the reality, it's like the aircraft in the sky. It cannot stay for a long in the sky, maybe beyond certain height it can stay for a longer time period. Here, if we're too late we miss the opportunity, so it is good to take your own time and decide what needs to be done to overcome the market fluctuations and experience some profit unlike the market trend.
We know that everyone gets chance to have profit from crypto currency increases and falls so we only have to use this chance it is very important to buy some bitcoin at low price then we will have to hold because only with holding we can make profit. Those to lose patience and sell for panic they only get lose.. because huge things takes time to happen.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fact about Cryptos on: July 17, 2019, 09:25:18 AM
you are not right. Altcoins can be banned and destroyed if someone wants it. Altcoins are centralized and you can come to their creator and ask him to close the project
You just cannot do that. How come you finish or put an end of a coin that has been in the wallets of millions of people around the world. People still demand for it because they see future utility and profit in the respective coins. DO not forget about the market value of ETH back in 2017. We have seen Altcoins scaling heights in a short span of time in the crypto market.
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO can be a safer investment option than ICO on: July 17, 2019, 07:03:11 AM
I dont think so because they are almost the same but ieo is already in exchange but I did not seeing any ieo that list in good exchange and if I am a  investor i will not doing such as investing on the ieos now because at that exchange i now i will lose money. Simple logic and analysis is needen in choosing projects.
Well when it comes to IEO, you do not have to face the problems of FOMO and liquidity. In addition, since exchange evaluates the projects and conducts the IEOs of the token, it is assured that investment in such a project that is normally profitable because it is passed by the best exchange and could give great return. The first even IEO was a huge success on Binance.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: US Government vs. Facebook Libra on: July 17, 2019, 05:35:45 AM
Facebook can't afford to lose US market while the US won't lose Facebook. They would come into agreement of issuing the coin and making Facebook and its currency the universal spying tool for the US government the same way Facebook has been doing in the past.
I think Facebook can still survive without Libra if the US government is getting Libra nightmares. In addition, Libra is going to be in the market soon and people across the US will use it as well because the team management on the back of Libra has already discussed and made deals with the leading banks in the US. In addition, the government might not be too pressing to kill the coin.
67  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Most Promising Cryptocurrencies to Invest in 2019 on: July 16, 2019, 07:10:13 PM
Suggestions for investing altcoin are very good and potentially, to know more you can see in binary exchange, there are lots of stable coins with large volumes. But I'm not suggesting that you invest in new coins in the long run, because it's too risky. You are a binary coin, BNB. That's good too.
I think the profitable and promising cryptocurrencies right now in the market are Bitcoin of course, Binance coin in the market right now and coins like ETH and Litecoin and Bitcoin cash. These coins can promise you some good return because the market price is pretty volatile and there could be good addition to the market value of these coins. I think if you invest now, you might make some bucks.
68  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Correct and Upcoming Price Prediction on: July 16, 2019, 05:19:46 PM
Draper's price prediction of $10k have been achieved while the other prediction of $250k is not likely to happen this year or even after halving because it is not attainable.

That's correct, over a short period of time, it's not gonna happen.
Bitcoin is a big marketcap coin, the number 1 in the market and for the price to rise $250K marketcap has to reach $4 trillion, not easy.  Lips sealed
What do you think about John McAfee’s price prediction? I think it is going to be tough for a coin like Bitcoin to cross one million dollar right? Wrong because he put forwards reasons why the price of Bitcoin would rise high and bear in mind that he has been the guy in the crypto whose crypto predictions have always turned to be reality so this is something to think over.
69  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it possible to trade WITHOUT exchange? on: July 16, 2019, 03:37:37 PM
I think it impossible to trade if your not using any exchanges because all crypto coins work on a exchanges platforms somehow it can be traded also in the wallet without using any exchange platforms.
Of course, I can. Basically, the trade must be seller and buyer. in fact, some people trade on telegram, or social media. they sometimes sell their assets instantly there by finding people who want to own their assets. it's just that the price might be cheaper.
Maybe DEX actually aim something that people can trade and not use exchanges, as long there are buyer or seller i think DEX is only platform and only give place for people to do trading activity in there.
Yes. It is possible to trade your coins via P2P transaction and I think it is also an easy way to trade your coins without getting an exchange involved in the trade. This is like a normal day trade where you deal with someone who is interested in buying your coins and you set the price according to the trade rate on the famous exchange or whatever way you use.

71  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency In The Gambling Industry: All You Need To Know About Bitcoin on: July 16, 2019, 12:36:54 PM
Looks OP took lot of efforts to write this thread. There is lot of reason why gambler like to use crypto currency as a payment of gambling website. The main reason is anonymity, easy and fast transactions. Even gambling legal on few countries but you need to pay TAX. If you use crypto currency like bitcoin then you can save TAX as well. That's the main issue about crypto-currency uses on gambling site in my opinion.

If you are not using privacy oriented coins i think that you are meaning that you can play pseudonymously rather then anonymously.
And saving taxes doesn't apply in where i live where you have to pay taxes from profits in crypto.
But as right now, our government doesn't track profits too heavily and i am rather enjoying this golden age without a kyc and getting as many bitcoins as i can before our laws get tighten on this.
And I think this issue varies from place to place and from one jurisdiction to another. There are people who do not pay taxes and in countries like Dubai, where you do not have to pay taxes, it would not be a problem to use kyc in gambling. They just do not care about their id unlike in countries where by law, you have to be a filer and making more money in crypto would mean more taxes.
72  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which you prefer to Gambling, on betting DApp or Gambling in Dice site? on: July 16, 2019, 10:14:54 AM
Personally I like gambling in dice site because more bigger the interface, more feature they can apply
Yes, if you have no time to gambling, smartphone may become the solution.
Since I'm not gambling maniac, I prefer the first one.

Just make sure that you're in control !

It's hard to be in control when you are doing gambling, no matter it is a gambling site or a distributed app. Only luck will control the gambling win or lose. I too prefer dice sites as they are more familiar and easy to play.
The app that could be easily installed in your mobile phone keeps you engaged and give you access to the site even if you are travelling by a bus. I normally prefer the desktop version but gambling using an app is no bad either. And yes what maters the most in the end is your skills at gambling on a particular game. If you have good knowledge and experience about a certain area, you are very likely to win.
73  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the most unusual games you played in a crypto casino? on: July 16, 2019, 08:09:42 AM
What are the most unusual (or interesting) games you played in a crypto casino?

There are no unusual games in the famous online casino and all the games are normal regular ones which everyone knows about.
Are you referring to any games which are local to your country or any game which is available only at few places and not popular at other places ?
I think by unusual, the OP means the games that you do not know about and which are there on the casinos and you have attempted to gamble in. If that is what the op is asking, my answer is “NO” because I always prefer to gamble on the games that I am expert at and there is no point in gambling at the games you do not know about because ultimately you lose the money.
74  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin believers/investors are foolish or low IQ people ? on: July 16, 2019, 04:57:47 AM
In the field of investment, people with high IQ are unlikely to win in trading or investment times, because the market always goes in an unpredictable direction.
There are very potential projects but it takes all because the bear market takes place.
Therefore, the smart people here are those who take advantage of the opportunity to make a lot of money, not sit in one place and predict that Bitcoin will Rekt or have no value.
The IQ score is not the great index to measure the intelligence of a person and this is kind of absurd to say that people using Bitcoin have low IQ and are foolish. They are the most quick and opportunity recognizing people and in economic terminologies, they are referred to as whales in case they have big stakes. And by the way IQ does not buy you a house in Chicago but the money you make with Bitcoin.
75  Economy / Economics / Re: buying bitcoin is like immigrating to a new country on: July 15, 2019, 08:49:31 PM
Prices will decline very dramatically
The only beneficiaries are the large whales
Because they have a home and a rich life even with bitcoin if crash

I disagree with you on this because it is not just benefiting only the rich but the poor as well. Regardless of the financial status you are at right now, you should be able to make instant cheap transactions with your Bitcoin like any rich guy does. In addition, you should be able to escape the cost of trust that otherwise you would have to pay had a bank been involved.
76  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin a Bubble or Not? on: July 15, 2019, 07:01:15 PM
The Bitcoin bubble and tulip bubble are both somewhat unusual because the assets being traded aren't expected to produce any kind of revenue for owners. When someone buys a technology stock, they expect the company to eventually become profitable and pay dividends. You can say the same thing about railroad stocks in the 19th Century and radio and airplane stocks that contributed to the stock market bubble in the 1920s.

Goldfarb compares bitcoins to assets with "artificial scarcity" like fine art. "It'll have value so long as people believe it has value," Goldfarb says.

We shouldn't take this line of argument too far, however. Bitcoins don't pay dividends, but their value can be pushed upward if a lot of people start using the Bitcoin network. The supply of bitcoins is permanently capped at 21 million. So if a lot of people want to make payments over the Bitcoin network, the value of bitcoins will need to rise (or at least stay at high levels) to accommodate that demand.

The other, weirder possibility is that bitcoins could prove to be a digital version of gold. Gold's value defies conventional market analysis in much the same way bitcoin's value does. Gold doesn't pay a dividend and only about 60 percent of the world's gold supply is devoted to jewelry or industrial use.

A lot of gold is held in vaults and under floorboards as a long-term store of value and a hedge against inflation and global turmoil—and this kind of speculative trading has a big impact on gold's price. If enough people continue believing that gold is a good investment, this becomes a self-fulfilling prophesy.

Something similar could be happening with an emotional support animal (ESA) Letter. Bitcoin now has a large subculture of "hodlers"—a deliberate, whimsical misspelling of "holders"—who make it a point of pride that they hold on to their bitcoins as a long-term investment regardless of short-term market fluctuations. The hodler ideology could be self-fulfilling in much the same way that goldbug ideology is: the more people who come to believe that bitcoins are a good long-term store of wealth, the more it will be a good long-term store of wealth.

Correction: This article originally said jewelry accounted for a small fraction of gold usage, but it's actually about 60 percent.

I think we have seen enough performance in the crypto space so far and I think that it would be sought of absurd to called Bitcoin bubble because it has been pretty amazing so far in the market so far. In addition, the great companies in the IT sector like Microsoft or companies like Facebook have embarked upon the journey to crypto specialization. So there are not enough evidence to call it bubble.
77  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Blockchain Replace Banks? on: July 15, 2019, 03:19:58 PM
Loans can also be work-out under bitcoin, especially if there’s a companies who are willing to do business like this.

Companies that would act just like banks. So what's the change?

what time saying is it already happened now because many people trying to convert their money from banks to blockchain system because of lots of recent and the most important reason is Prophet so that I think in future it definitely possible to beat the banks.

Yeah, the prophet is telling you that you should embrace bitcoin. Paranoia much?

I think blockchain can't do that but wallets of bitcoin could potentially steal some customers. Right now, there are places like xapo or coinsbank or whatever else you want to use and with that you can literally get a debit card that is filled with bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies they work with and than you get to spend it wherever you want like a regular debit card and than you still get to keep the rest of it on bitcoin anytime you want.

See that little bolded part?
You're replacing your bank with another one, but because it has crypto or block or satoshi in its name you think you're replacing banks with the blockchain.
If ING would change its name intro CryptoBank you would all start praising it even if in reality nothing would change.

All those cards you talk about are issued by a bank, just because you load it with bitcoin that get exchanged for fiat it doesn't mean you use anything else. It's still a traditional bank doing the same thing.

I think it is not possible for banks to survive without blockchain right now and in the future specifically. Blockchain is a decentralized ledger and that really gives people the incentive to keep their money in a wallet that enables them to lower costs and make instant transactions. The arrival of Libra in the market will b ring another revolution of the spread of blockchain and banks would be left with no other option but to adopt the technology.
78  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling destitute on: July 15, 2019, 11:18:14 AM
I am not considering gambling as an investment. Profits is not pretty sure to be achieved and it is the opposite instead when one will deposits money on betting or gambling platform. Pretty sure losses will be made or one can still get profit but it will depend on the luck of the one that will gamble. So, I guess it is not a good idea to consider gambling as an investment.
I think gambling is an investment but a risky one and this is the reason why people refrain from getting involved in gambling. Those who want some quick bucks do get in the fight and try to make some good money but overall, it is not considered a good investment of your time and money. One should rather look for promising ventures with good probability.
79  Economy / Speculation / Re: Question of the day: What is your price prediction for bitcoin ? on: July 14, 2019, 05:06:00 PM
$100k by this november? Far too agressive, we'll be lucky to hit ATH by then due to all this slow down (which is healthy, too much parabolic climbing isn't good long term)
Well it is tough to do the price prediction when it comes to Bitcoin but according to John McAffe who has been in the crypto for years and is the famous Bitcoiner in the world predicts that by the next halving, Bitcoin would be pretty much above 1 million dollar in the open market. Anyways, regardless of what the price maybe in future, you would have the surplus if you invest now.
80  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think a "winning mindset" can get you what you want while gambling? on: July 14, 2019, 03:36:00 PM
I have met various personalities and few of them guided me on how to win in gambling. Those guys told me that "If you have got a winning mindset with no negativity in your mind, you are about to start a journey where you will see higher chances of winning over losing."

Is it like meditation where you must focus on your goal and make yourself prepared for the game before starting to play it? I had good experiences till now while following this strategy. It doesn't mean I never lose but chances of winning are really high.

That's not a guaranty that you can win, just accept the fact that it's a game of luck and if mother luck smile at you then you are going to win, if you go there with a positive or negative mindset but you are in luck that night, you are going to win.
Well winning mindset together with some good experience in the area you are gambling at could be an edge to make you the winner. I think it is very important to be optimistic about the things you do. You need to have the winning mindset and it is important when it comes to gambling. Winning mindset makes you make important decisions which helps you escape losses as well.
