What a complete and utter farce this coin is. I signed up days ago to get my free coins and I am clearly an active member of this community, and now it looks like all coins have been given away. This doesn't seem like a fair community coin for me as most of the community were never given any coins.

Quote
2nd delivery completed

Bullshit. How long did that take? A few weeks? Should have kept going over 6 months or so at least, and should have counted roughly how many active members exist in this community and divided the total number of coins by that value. There are a LOT more than 500 active members in this community.

Quote
Dear Community: we have to report an incident to you. This morning one of our team members computer had a hard-drive failure, and as a consequence many files were lost including one of our COMM coin depot wallet, with approximately 196.8 mil COMMs in it. Despite all efforts we are not able to recover the wallet, and unfortunately no backup was made for this wallet (while we made backups for other wallets, this one was somehow missed as it was created later than others).

Yeah, right. You just happened to loose it did you so you can no longer give away coins, even though at first you stressed this was a fair launch, with nobody having more than another person (to start) including the devs. This was all lies to push up the value of your coins. Just you guys wait for this coin to get on an exchange. As soon as it does you will see a little dump here and a little dump there. They will rinse this coin dry with their HUGE 20% pre-mine.

Too bad because I liked the name, but the picture wasn't big enough. You can't expect a coin to do well when its main purpose is to serve the community of a tiny forum on the internet and the initial distribution was to 500 individuals. Nobody will buy into that.

100% correct.  One of the only rational posts.

Are there other programmers who can help out with a patch? Please contact the dev.

You can ask for help DigiByte Dev. They are good and helped DOGE community with KGW implementation.

also micyron he is good dev and very helpfull. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=218684

I'm still at a loss as to why there is such a push to get this coin on mintpal.  It seems like the only focus is getting on mintpal.  Getting on mintpal is not going to do anything for this coin.  The only thing that is going to help this coin is an acceptable outcome to the disposition of those 200 million coins.

Instead of making posts about voting for mintpal, people should be making posts asking the dev on the status of the 200 million coins.  I'm not spreading fud i'm stating facts.  It seems that a majority of people in this community are so afraid of the dev that they are unwilling to ask the questions that they should be asking.  Everyone knows that 20% of this coin is unaccounted for.  You can get listed on mintpal, cryptsy, bter, etc... but this coin is going nowhere until the issue of those 200 million coins is resolved.  This community needs to stop living in fear of making the dev mad and start asking serious questions regarding the main issue that is keeping the value of this coin down.

I'm done slamming this coin and i'm not spreading fud.  If the dev is unable to fix this issue then you need to get someone that can.  It's that simple.  This coin goes nowhere until that issue is resolved.  That is a fact and not fud.

Here is the latest ranking on coinmarketcap.  There is only $ 6,918 volume in the last 24 hours and the majority of that is members of this community buying and selling to each other.

47    CommunityCoin   $ 410,079   $ 0.000404   1,013,882,778 COMM*   $ 6,918   +3.92 %

If you want to save this coin you will all focus on getting the 20% issue resolved.  You do not need to fear the dev.  You need to question him.  Stop being sheep.  Stand up and demand answers and demand them now.

Send your btc if you want to give it away to a scammer.

Scam_Exposer, would you please just STFU with your childish scam postings on EVERY SINGLE NEW COIN THAT COMES OUT, THE MOMENT IT COMES OUT.

The only reason that these scammers run off with btc is because there are fools like you on this forum.

And no I won't shut up.  There is nothing childish about pointing about these scams.  I have a 100% track record so you need to shut up.

You're likely just another one of the scammers that I stopped and are still mad.  Too bad.

If you don't think this is a scam then you have no brain.  You will never make any money in crypto because you are too naive.

16041 votes on Mintpal. Good job guys. Keep voting until we get on top.

Still on that mintpal bandwagon?

Like I have already stated.  This coin is toxic until the 20% coin issue is resolved.  What do you think getting on mintpal is going to do for this coin?  No serious trader is going to touch this coin wondering if he's going to get dumped on by a 200 million surprise.  People already know where to buy this coin and they're staying away.  Why do you think the price is so low?  It's not because of posts I made.  It's because nobody's buying the story about the hard drive and the 200 million coins.  Mintpal won't help this coin at all.  Start demanding answers about the status of those 200 million coins.  Don't worry the dev can't do anything to you and they won't be giving out anymore coins so you have nothing to lose.

@brightlight.

Me too! Recieved 4pm´s  today. Try to defence against troll´s  and only stress. I think i´m out soon. Sad

Please don't judge everything from the 2nd stake point of view.

I bought with no hesitation more coins, when there was 1st round in progress. I believe that all this COMM related will turn to good. Many applicants didn't deserve even 1st stake. Those who blame dev for not being accepted in 2nd round.

If I didn't receive 2nd stake, I still decided to work in favour of this coin.

How's that investment working out for you?

The caravan move on.  But lost in the desert without a leader.  You're another member of this community that is more of a problem than anything.  All your swarm team will do is annoy people.  That's the dumbest idea yet.  If that's all you got then you don't have anything.

This mess needs to be fixed before you go around telling people about it.  First impressions are important.

Think before post!!! Swarm team is not my idea! I am just collecting community incentives!

The only problem here is you!!! I want to see your face in reality!

Please don't bring your internet tough guy act into the conversation.  Nobody's impressed.

Why a loser spent so much time to trash this coin? I think there's only one answer: this is a cheater and was recognized by the dev team, so he did not get the 2nd round coin... lmao, continue spending your whole life trashing this coin, your badge already told everyone who you are, keep going since there's nothing better in your life  Grin Grin Grin

I didn't apply for any free coins.  I make my profit by mining and trading.  Think what you want if you can think at all.  I made plenty trading on the exchanges even while posting on this thread.  Did you see how many coins shot up in value?  While you were here begging for freebies I was earning mine.

You know nothing about making money off crypto and never will.

So I don't believe anymore in this forum fairness. Those, who are scamming on this forum are able to post anything they have in mind, but my trials to make the thread more healthier are assumed as something threatening.

So many hours and efforts involved to COMM, but those two guys are ruining every effort of us.

Don't think your anything special.  I had four posts from this thread deleted as well.  It's not my forum and the mods have every right to do what they want.  Crying like a child is a waste of time.  Grow up.

Why are you people so focused on getting this coin on mintpal?  You have much bigger issues that need attention.  Getting on mintpal will do nothing for this coin.  You need to focus 100% on those missing coins and how to resolve that issue.  Nothing else matters at this point.  Until that 20% coin issue is resolved this coin is toxic.  That is a fact.  You can wave your pom poms and be a cheerleader all you want but getting on mintpal will do nothing for this coin.  Do you understand?

Who si responsible for this thread right now? Please pm me, we have to solve some problems and go on with development.

I say you and GatorJMT organize a takeover and right this ship.  The two of you seem to be some of the only intelligent individuals in this community.  At least you understand the brevity of the situation.  communitycoin and adrian are not up to the task.  They never were.  I question their dedication to this coin as it now appears with the lame story about the hard drive and their lack of communication that they never intended for this coin to succeed longer than the time it took to dump as much COMM as they could.

And in this coins case, a second round of free coins.  Nobody wanted to question the dev out of fear of losing their second stake.  That would be a violation of the dev's rules.

It's bullshit, I manage to register multiple stakes, and yet some user are waiting
also some of my account had been hacked by another person and used to gain comm stake
for sure the attacker would of had multiple accounts (i guess minimum 5).
how is that for fair community distribution, just bend over and say it feels good

Match that mess of a list the dev was posting with people on this thread.  I'm guessing that many don't even have any posts.

     Hi OP/Dev/Community,

To play my part, I've made a dice site here: http://commdice.supercrypt.co/. I have also made dice sites for HASH, COIN, AIDEN and CaiShen    previously.

Unfortunately I was not selected for both round 1s and round 2 (so far) and so do not have any bankroll of COMM to begin with.

If someone can send some over to the address in my signature I'd use most of it for the COMM Dice site.

Best regards,
Shuxy

Please vote with your posts for mymenace logo and donations for this job are warmly welcomed!

If I have missed something, someone in the thread, let me know in PM. Today I can't be online all day long and posts are coming in like from cornucopia.

WE NEED TO MAKE SUBREDDIT PAGE MORE APPEALING AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!!!

Applications for swarm team opened. Please send jiosefjd a PM with your email address if you want to join.

Something is wrong with block explorer?

Why you think so?

Not the dev's fault.  Block explorer hosted at coinexplorers.  But that brings up another question.  Is the dev unable to make a communitycoin block explorer?  It's not difficult.  I'll do it for free.

Specialist companies can recover data from a hard drive, often for as little as $120.

In the worst cases when they have to recover the data in a clean room it only costs $580 maximum.

I live in Great Britain, so I posted a link to a UK company's examples of Previous Data Recovery Jobs and their prices.

http://www.essentialdatarecovery.co.uk/Data_Recovery/Job_History.html

There are plenty of similar companies all over the world.

What symptoms does the hard drive have?

Does it refuse to spin up, is it making a beeping sound, is it clicking, can it not be accessed by a laptop, is it no longer seen as a drive in My Computer?

A data recovery company could fix any of these problems.

You don't really think that there was really a hard drive failure problem? How many of you had any problems like that with crypto coin wallets? I mean everybody backs up anything slightly valuable. Now imagine you are sitting on a bagload of coins, would that really happen to anybody? On chats of exchanges people are branding your coin as a scam coin. The developer should have never gone that route. Better be honest, otherwise it will bit you in the ass.

It's total nonsense story, as usual scam which has been brushed under the rug by many bagholder
A fabrication. Even barely competent user that doesn't know how to backup can give drive once over with HDD regen, testdisk.  and photorec
stick in freezer bag even, you get extra time to recover on cooled platter. Have recovered many many drives over the years with such simple methods. Anybody who has even cursory experience with data recovery and forensic know the story is nonsense simply, cannot even waste time to properly refute it.

To devs, thx for few btc profit, I'm out of this shit mess now. good luck all holders, we know how fickle crypto coin communities can be, all you need is orchestrate a new direction and people will quickly forget about any other indiscretion and scam attempts, as long as they have $$ in their eyes.

And in this coins case, a second round of free coins.  Nobody wanted to question the dev out of fear of losing their second stake.  That would be a violation of the dev's rules.
