WHY NOT JUST KEEP A BACKUP HARD DISC, WON'T THAT SOLVE THE PROBLEM?
1222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Terrorists to Release Biological Weapon Unless Crypto Ransom Paid on: October 31, 2014, 04:12:27 AM
I think I saw the same post out here couple of days ago. Why does the moderators allow same kind of thread twice?
1223  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinbase has a multi-sig vault. You now control the keys. on: October 31, 2014, 04:06:39 AM
It looks like multi-sig vault is the way to go. people loving this idea of having more people involved in the same outlet. Nice one. It was only a matter of time for Coinbase. Cool
1224  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: About smart phone wallets.. on: October 30, 2014, 06:26:52 PM
I think mycelium is the way to go. Cool
1225  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First (?) Hospital to accept bitcoin on: October 30, 2014, 06:22:08 PM
Well I don't know why but I certainly had this picture come to my mind,

Imagine a patient is admitted in the hospital for a surgery. Now he/she has 2 btc that's worth about 330 per coin in the current market. And the surgery will cost about 500$. So he/she thinks that it is enough. Now the next morning, given the nature of the Bitcoin, the price just dropped to 200 per coin. Now what will happen?
1226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The first Montreal Cafe to accept Bitcoin on: October 30, 2014, 06:15:40 PM
I just can't get enough of the line that says, "Bitcoin Is Accepted Here". It's like my four favorite words. And bravo to the cafe. Cool
1227  Other / Off-topic / Re: SF Giants win the World Series. on: October 30, 2014, 03:37:57 PM
I was just enjoying the whole series, actually pretty much whole playoff. it was just a roller coaster from one match to another. Go Giants.
1228  Other / Off-topic / Re: What are you going as for Halloween? on: October 30, 2014, 03:35:19 PM

1230  Other / Off-topic / Re: The best way to earn money fast on: October 30, 2014, 03:29:33 PM
Well in my view, porn industry is the fastest and safest way to make lots of money in a short amount of time. Maybe have a audition for the playboy TV. Tongue
1231  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who's your superhero? on: October 30, 2014, 03:26:57 PM
I like the multimillionaire crime fighter from the Gotham city, the Batman. Because he doesn't have any superpowers but still he's a superhero.
1232  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are bitcoiners regular at Facebook ? on: October 30, 2014, 03:24:03 PM
Most of BTC hardcore users are tech loving people and they don't like hanging out in the social sites too much, at least that's my guess. Even I don't like to hang out that much.
1233  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Hollywood on: October 29, 2014, 04:03:26 PM
Lots of celebrities use BTC now.

so why not make a movie out of it.
1234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you work for Bitcoins? (not bitpay etc) on: October 29, 2014, 04:00:29 PM
I am freelance writer too. But I refused to take BTC as a payment and still do. Don't have the guts to accept it I guess. But might accept in the future.
1235  Economy / Economics / Re: Was Bitcoin actually just a Pump and Dump? on: October 29, 2014, 03:58:12 PM
I don't have any doubt that this was all just big pump and dump, but my theory is, even the BTC creators didn't realize that Bitcoin would go this far.
1236  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin on Facebook on: October 29, 2014, 03:55:39 PM
there are some games where you can earn free credit by signing up few bitcoin exchanges such as Xapo. But no game with direct BTC payment.
1237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth it? on: October 29, 2014, 03:53:18 PM
Not really no, signature campaigns pay out better, even with the low amount it's still something you can use, I've actually decided to open up an Etsy store and I'll be using the money I earn from the coins I make to do some advertising and pay for fees Cheesy which will hopefully end up netting me some money which I can then re-invest.

Right now there aren't many opportunities in Bitcoin but I hope one day we'll see a lot more trading, I am seeing merchants adopt it now but it's not happening fast just yet.

This is by far the MODEST opinion of a BTC user I've ever heard. I really hope there are other guys like you to make this community a whole better. Grin

I think you need to read more. There are plenty of people around here who have modest and rational things to say about btc. I also don't think you needed to quadruple post.

My post, my opinion. So I would be glad if you kindly don't stick your nose in it. Just mind your own business Please. Thank you  Grin
1238  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth it? on: October 29, 2014, 03:49:12 PM
Forget about faucets.
You can make way more money on this forum just attending in signature campaigns.

Would you kindly tell me a bit more about some signature campaigns. That would help me a lot. Smiley
1239  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth it? on: October 29, 2014, 03:47:35 PM
It's official: it's not worth it because the amount is very small, not paying even for your tiny time to load the page and fill the captcha and on long time it will make your address pay bigger transfer fees.

BUT it may worth it in certain cases:

- you spend that time on forums or gambling sites anyway
- you invest those pennies in something that grows fast (or it will worth it if BTC reaches 1000 times the current value)
- you are not too attached to your current BTC address and you will change it every couple of months.

So, um, yeah, it's debatable. The signature campaigns are clearly the way to go, but with only one account (cheating is found sooner or later, I think it doesn't worth it to try to multi-account) there's plenty of time for ... alternative means of getting some pennies if you have the time.

In my case, I get in one day, from a single faucet once per hour, more than I get from mining. I am stupid? Maybe. Or just maybe the term "worth it" is different from person to person and from case to case.

Yeah you make some interesting point, not undoubtable but still significant facts. The point I like is that "IF IT REACHES 1000 TIMES THE CURRENT VALUE." Oh boy  Shocked Wouldn't that be something  Shocked
