you can earn a lot of money from it in several years, so don't say it's not worth.

The amount of time you lose in the process is much costly than the amount of BTC you are going to earn.

Hardly to imagine anyone will be able filling the captchas full day for whole year.

I tested few faucets when I started, but after realizing this is the way to go nowhere I stopped. About two days fun plus new experience  Smiley

If I did a faucet every 15 min, every day, 365 days a year I would lose what's left of my wee mind, and it would only take about 4 hours.

You'll make more money collecting returnable bottles from the trash. More dignified too, lol

Not really no, signature campaigns pay out better, even with the low amount it's still something you can use, I've actually decided to open up an Etsy store and I'll be using the money I earn from the coins I make to do some advertising and pay for fees Cheesy which will hopefully end up netting me some money which I can then re-invest.

Right now there aren't many opportunities in Bitcoin but I hope one day we'll see a lot more trading, I am seeing merchants adopt it now but it's not happening fast just yet.

It's official: it's not worth it because the amount is very small, not paying even for your tiny time to load the page and fill the captcha and on long time it will make your address pay bigger transfer fees.

BUT it may worth it in certain cases:

- you spend that time on forums or gambling sites anyway
- you invest those pennies in something that grows fast (or it will worth it if BTC reaches 1000 times the current value)
- you are not too attached to your current BTC address and you will change it every couple of months.

So, um, yeah, it's debatable. The signature campaigns are clearly the way to go, but with only one account (cheating is found sooner or later, I think it doesn't worth it to try to multi-account) there's plenty of time for ... alternative means of getting some pennies if you have the time.

In my case, I get in one day, from a single faucet once per hour, more than I get from mining. I am stupid? Maybe. Or just maybe the term "worth it" is different from person to person and from case to case.

it might be worth it if you get a lot of people to use your referral link.

also if we see 10k btc price ofc it can be worth it.. but using your time for something else and invest into btc is ofc better,
except if you cant monetize your time at a higher rate.

Keep in mind though, at one point you were getting close to 1BTC a week/month(I wasn't around then so I am not exactly sure what you got) and people probably thought that would never be worth it because 1BTC will never amount to anything...

Well if it does go to 10,000 a coin or something, maybe earning .002 a week would be okay?

this theory is only valid if at this very moment you cant find work that gives you more money today than using a faucet today,
as you could always invest the money you get from working in bitcoin.

so...
if, income from 1hr of work > income from 1hr time invested in faucets(both valued in todays btc price),
then doing normal work and investing in bitcoin is the rational choice over using a faucet.

if u talking about using your free time its all up to how you value it...

Yeah you make some interesting point, not undoubtable but still significant facts. The point I like is that "IF IT REACHES 1000 TIMES THE CURRENT VALUE." Oh boy  Shocked Wouldn't that be something  Shocked

I think you need to read more. There are plenty of people around here who have modest and rational things to say about btc. I also don't think you needed to quadruple post.

I think you'll find posting opinions is how discussion forums work, even if you don't like what someone says. And he's right, you really don't need to make four posts in a row.

Forget about faucets.

Keep it on topic. If you want to talk about signature campaigns make another thread or look in the Services sub.

And even if I try to use more faucet I don't see any options. Because I don't know any faucet that gives more than 250 per 15 mnt with 100% guarantee.

I know one. http://btc25.net/ (ref) pays at least 525 satoshi every 25 min.
And you have chance to win more (up to $25). I won 0.00009898 BTC 7 times in the last 5 days.

Of course, it's a wasting of time, but sometimes it's just funny:)

How much have u got out of it then? Some say btc25.net is suspicious, because as a newbie it has way too massive traffic. And it has a hyper expensive advertising option too. Something odd there. Its withdraw rules are also odd.

Wouldn't touch it, before there are clear proofs of payment. Although even then nothing is guaranteed. New sites (supposing this is new) are always riskier.
