An important correction to our TrasMaMod XMG pool ( https://magi.trasmamod.com) : We are now adjusting our limit from 300KH/s to 250KH/s per user! This is because we would like to ensure that Magi COIN is for everyone and everyone can mine it with their CPU and get a real portion of the mining reward when the pool find a new block. We will monitor this and give first a warning about the need to decrease the miningspeed up to our system if the miningspeed exceeds this limit. Magi had the issue with the large miners before.
They are trying to frustrate other miners.
If smaller miners don't give up they will leave. Its the competition in the crypto-world!
Keep up the good work. Magi team is looking into the options to this issue, like we did before. Proof of mining. As you all know Magi team & community are very strong.

I have the same problem as described before with YoBit, no answer from support yet. It's an exchange that appears on the main thread. More than 500 USD that don't get credited on my account.
Everyone focused on mining and stuff...

I have the impression that everybody on this board is only interested in mining. My problem is much more critical (for the coin and its reputation): I cannot withdraw my coins from my Cryptopia account. Cryptopia still posts the error message: Status: Maintenance

I was using XpoolX but after the recent upgrade all my coins are gone and my none of my workers are able to connect for 24H. I see other workers online (60-90) but I can't seem to connect. I read somewhere that they said all coins were safe but they never seem to come back to my wallet so I'm not sure.
This makes me want to change pool. Any tips? Preferably where they don't allow whales to mine everything (I run Raspberry Pi's so I can't compete with that). Thanks!

I need to read up a lot of posts.
Just a short read first. Magi has a unique blockreward system. Mining Magi with huge hashrates will drop the rewards. Its a change of mindset. With btc or others currencies it was always great if you have huge power to mine. Magi is different & made for all people to mine.

If I understand correctly, downloading block-chain data (which is a 1,3 GB file) is not necessary. One can just (1) backup the file wallet.dat, (2) install the new m-wallet leaving the old folder Magi unchanged (3) open the new m-wallet and wait until it syncs.
Is this correct? Is the old block-chain folder stored in the Magi folder still usable? Will it sync correctly? Thanks
Yes, NOT necessary to redownload chain data. Thank you very much! The developers of this coin are very active! Another question: I tried to withdraw my MAGI from my Cryptopedia MAGI account. It is not possible. Cryptopedia displays an error message saying that the blockchain of this coin is in maintenance (at the request of the developers). Will this be fixed soon? I would like to bring my MAGI in my wallet to start minting. Thanks! Cryptopia received message from Magi team. Hope wallets are updated soon. |
