let's talk in 3 years ok? I am not forcing you to mine it or sell it to you, I am buying ......
What is more valuable? HAC or HACD or do they go hand in hand?

Make sense because RX 6600 are around $330sh brand new right now, at least in the states.

It's true that ETH outperforms BTC recently but you also get more BTC for the ETH you're mining if that's the case.

I rather pay $700 for each RTX 3060 Ti/3070 FHR cards than get one RTX 3090. I own a few 3090s but they were bought around the $1700-1900 range months ago but they wouldn't be my first choice especially before LHR was introduced. The memory on the back of the PCB is crap too if you don't add heatsinks or actively watercool them. Have fun with 100c+ vram temp and dead 3090s down the line.
3090 Ti on the other hand.. definitely a nice card.

Hope this helps, some of my RTX 3060 Ti has memory temperature readouts. About 82-86c for the sample of three cards that had the readout with fans running at 75% and core temp 55-56c. Also, please note, the system above is sitting on the top-rack above this system below.. so the temperatures will be higher. The system below has RTX 3080s (memory temp in the 80-90s) and a few 3060 Tis (Core temp: 44c, memory temp 78c) So I guess to answer OP's question, if your core temp is 68-70c, you can assume your memory temp is way too high for a RTX 3060Ti/3070 card with regular GDDR6.

Blower style GPUs are hard to cool, you need a server case for better results, if you have another open frame mining rig nearby it will affect those Blower style graphic cards, learnt this when my brother had a vega 56 8x blower style mining rig.
These A2000 runs super cool though at 75w each but as already mentioned we need more information on the setup etc to determine the issue.

3090 Ti all the way, the increased in density for the VRAM GDDR6X and all of them sitting on the front of the PCB makes a whole world of difference for cooling and maintenance work. You don't need to add active cooling/heatsinks to the backplate anymore like you do on the RTX 3090 to get better VRAM temperature.

For $2500 in the US you can build a full six card RX 6600 rig if you choose your parts wisely in the past few days.

Why would I liquidate my farm when everything has been paid off just because ETH is rumored to be going Consensus layer this June/July? What makes you think if a big bug was found that they'll launch it in three months? lol

Staking is more risky
1. Reward goes down not in USD value but in tokens which sucks. 2. You aren't the rightful owner of your assets anymore until staking period is over and your asset is withdrawn back to your wallet.
Not to mention the tax benefits of buying mining equipment, at least in the U.S. (Section 179, depreciation, electricity...). I know everybody here hates the IRS, but you never have to pay taxes on a mining operation if you just re-invest profit into new equipment. There are no immediate write-offs for staking or HODLing coins. Can you depreciate your hardware every year if you keep on re-investing in new hardware through section 179?

It's always a good time to buy more GPUs to mine especially right now. If it goes lower.. buy more lol

I have a few 3090s and you have to be able to do some extra work for the vrams on the backplate (adding more surface area and a fan..) or throw them all on water-blocks with an active backplate. TBH, if I had 50 RTX 3090 it'll be a lot of work because of the vrams on the back but slapping 50x heatsinks and fans would do wonders making them last and keeping them from throttling.

When Nvidia Vram temps?

Its just two of those rx580 so the 650watt power supply is more than enough for every algorithms that you want to mine, on ETH those cards takes 80watts each = 160watts and on ravencoin those cards takes up to 120watts each = 240watts, still not even close to the half of 650watt power supply.
You are wrong. This cards need 120w for ETH - you canīt use the software reading for this - AMD only show the TGP in every software - so you must add around 30-40w to every card. Example - Teamredminer show 530w for one of my RX570 rigs - from the wall it is 880w. Same for Nvidia, but here you must only add around 10 - 20w per card to the software readings. Yes i know no one will hear this and no one will trust to my words, it is so annoying that so much people donīt trust to my words every time. But you lie to yourself if you think such software readings are the truth. You're correct but why do you have to be so dramatic?

1000w PSU for ETH mining should be fine, you're drawing 700-800w at the wall. I run 4 3070 + 1 3080 off a 850W Seasonic and it only pulls 680w at the wall. You don't need 1300+ watts for only six 3070s.

Don't believe the expensive electricity costs stuff/misinformation... even in California where electricity can be around .27c or (16-17c if you own an electric car) RTX 3000 series are extremely profitable assuming you're not paying super scalped prices. I would tell your friend to go ahead and pick them up if they are priced decently, especially if you they are non-LHR variants.
I assume he's getting them for around $1400-1500 USD if the payback is ESTIMATED for 10-months (of course this can change to 6 months or 2 years overnight)

Can someone point me in the right direction. I have multiple machines that I plan to use for mining Raptoreum, the question is do I have to install and sync a separate Raptoreum core / wallet for each machine?
Or is it simply sync and create the wallet on the main machine and just run the miner off the other machines and redirecting the rewards to the wallet address?
This isn't the right place to ask, but you only need one wallet. Ahhh thank you, didn't realize this isn't the official thread for the coin.
