42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: characteristics of fraudulent projects on: October 04, 2019, 04:34:45 PM
when investors and the crypto community already believed, but the team said differently!
- The team did not respond well to the crypto community.
- The team is very shady and does not provide updates about their projects on the telegram & social media channels.
- The team plans to take a vacation
- The team blocked accounts one by one from each community who questioned about the development of the project.
- and finally you are banned in this group  Grin

it's so annoying, how you feel?  Roll Eyes
I am suspicious of projects that are active in social networks, but their posts do not carry any information about the project. Usually, such projects spread news from the crypto world)
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to detect desperate Developers and scammers on: October 04, 2019, 04:07:03 PM
Obviously any project that promises you any of these are either scam or dangerous investments plans managed by desperate developers

1. Huge ROI in short period of term
2. Risk free investments
3. Assurance of what to come
4. Big exchanges listing like binance

I have promoted projects that pretends to have listing plan on big exchanges just to make people promote the project and make investors invest too
Good projects also have to resort to such promises, otherwise, they will collect very little investment. If all the projects were telling the truth, none would have collected the required amount of investment.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you desperately looking for exchanges to dump your altcoins on: October 04, 2019, 11:15:30 AM
These altcoins or shitcoins has become an eyesore every time I checked my wallets three wallets full of shitcoins, I'm desperately looking to trade or dump these altcoins, because it just reminds me of wasted time and money.
Are you also desperately looking to dump your altcoins.
I do not do this, because it is not profitable and time-consuming. It is better to spend this time analyzing new projects.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Betting : A big problem to crypto? on: October 03, 2019, 11:03:34 PM
I once came across an article where it was stated that over 60 percent of most crypto transaction were used for betting. I don't see anything wrong with that. But don't you think it portrays crypto in a bad way?
Are there so many bookmakers and exchanges that accept bets in cryptocurrency? Why do people use cryptocurrency for betting? The first time I hear about this.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Do You Look For In A Bounty Campaign on: October 03, 2019, 10:49:16 PM
I recently started managing my first bounty campaign, however, its been a few days and we have yet to see any traction.

The project I'm managing the campaign for is currently in their early startup stages, however, they are running on the VeChainThor Blockchain, they are closely related and in collaboration with an existing prominent project, and are set to release their MVP before the public sale is even set to end.

All these are clear indications, at least to myself, that the project is legitimate and seems to have potential to be a great success. So I would have expected to see more traction by now, but I haven't.

So my question to you all, what do you look for in a bounty campaign?
Do you value a project with a better product, or a project that is giving away higher rewards?
For me, the quality of the project is more important, but if the bounty company will be allocated a little money, I will refuse to participate. I think balance is important.

Are there any requirements that steer you away from participating in a campaign?
For me it is important that there was a limit on the number of participants.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is this still possible today? on: October 03, 2019, 10:40:38 PM
I just find out that some coins might start with very low volume and marketcap and end up growing big? true or false? i tracked back some old coins that start with trading volume around 6k and end up in millions, is this still possible today?
Of course, it's possible. There will always be new projects that will become popular. Only they are very difficult to find at the very beginning of their development.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investors are impatient and too quick to judge projects on: October 03, 2019, 10:29:41 PM
It usually surprise me when I see investors complaining about a good project that didn't increase  or providing returns immediately it got listed on the exchange and they term it scam or say different things like rekted.
But the truth is, are these investors investing in the project because they believe in it or are they just in it for the immediate profit and move on?  Because if you are investing in a project because you believe in it then you should be willing to HODL the tokens and wait for the team to gradually deliver the project and meet its necessary roadmap before you judge it and not condemn it on its first listing.
That's the problem. All people want to quickly sell tokens and get their profits, so everyone demands that the project appears on the exchange as soon as possible.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How many crypto exchanges are really required? on: September 29, 2019, 11:19:27 PM
Now a days, I have observed that out of ten projects three or four are of new exchanges. At the moment there are so many exchanges available for cryptocurrencies. When we invest in other projects and its token got listed in one of the new exchange, we have to create account with that exchange to trade those tokens.
Do you really think that there is a need of so many exchanges? isn't it very complicated and lengthy to keep accounts in many exchanges?
Please share your views.

Of course, there is no sense in such a large numbers of exchanges. Now there is a competition for leadership in this market, so such a large number of exchanges are created. I think that over time they will become much less.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: investing does not have to wait long on: September 29, 2019, 11:07:09 PM
what are your goals by investing? yes I think everyone wants to benefit from investment and trade. given the market situation is not yet fully stable, I'm sure you can still benefit from them.
I mean investing does not have to wait long, you can sell it at any time, when you see your coins above the initial capital price.
Everyone has different strategies, everyone should invest for the period that he sees fit.

if you don't do that, you will starve!
This will only happen to stupid people who make investments their main earnings.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bakkt disappointment on: September 29, 2019, 10:56:15 PM
How many of you guys feel disappointed about how bakkt did nothing to crypto market price but shrink it down to where it is today? i am one of those who think bakkt will have huge impact on crypto market since 2018 so here we are today and things went sideways
I did not hope for Bakt because I noticed that when everyone is waiting for something it does not happen and it becomes only worse. This time everyone was waiting for a big increase in prices, and in the end, the price collapsed.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why its hard to attract investors on: September 29, 2019, 10:30:59 PM
Before investors are everywhere in crypto currency specially mid 2017 but everything change
Ico's started to boom in the internet, you can choose a lot
of ico that you like, but then started to change , there are ico that are scam, running with investors money in a snap, lending platforms also can be seen, the same happens they suddenly disappear
we have already have a very good market if there are no scammers
they change everything, now investors are so hesitant whenever there is a new coin that are good but they opted out because they think its a scam, I think we should find a way to lessen or better eliminate them for good.
New projects need to be as open as possible and then the problem with investors will be solved, of course, if the team is working on projects and there is a good idea.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holding Altcoins can get you Rekt on: September 28, 2019, 11:11:30 PM
Often times I read various posts of people/traders/investors preaching HODLing some altcoins for years and so on thus I took some to research on altcoins 3years and guess what? Most of the altcoins in 2016 are no more to found anymore. You can take a deep look as well via https://coinmarketcap.com/historical/20160103/

My candid advise is to trade with the five senses intact and not with emotions. Don't get on some shitcoins with the intention to hold for years else you might get rekt.
This is quite a normal situation, the same thing happens with ordinary companies. The most important goal is to find a project that will not close and will develop for many years and will bring its investors a large profit.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is China ahead of US now in terms of digital adaptation? on: September 28, 2019, 11:01:55 PM
I think that China has always been ahead of the United States in this direction because it is the most developed country in terms of technology.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Ripple not dead? on: September 28, 2019, 10:41:04 PM
I think the only reason Ripple is alive is because States need it and they support it.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoiners, don't give up yet. Bitcoin can't do it alone. on: September 28, 2019, 10:20:26 PM
The altcoin industry have lost some big percentage of patronizers due to the poor performance of the market in the recent months, this have cause so many enthusiasts to lose interest in altcoins in general thinking the cryptocurrency industry can do with them. There's no denied the industry can do without most of the present altcoins but cryptocurrency can't can't survive without altcoins been present in general. No disrespect to Bitcoin as it started the journey but the industry have grown beyond bitcoin.

The achievement and development ethereum as a blockchain has contributed for the industry, if the industry had just bitcoin it wouldn't had recorded such developments. We can't do without altcoins, they have become a part of the industry. The sooner we realized that  the better the industry become. Don't misunderstand this post, I'm not advising against investing in bitcoin or encouraging investing in the present altcoins although, all I'm trying to say is, if you think the altcoin industry is going into exile, think again.

The altcoin industry is only going through a phase which won't kill it and as what doesn't kill you only make you stronger, the altcoin market will come out stronger as the good will be separated from the bad projects although bitcoin will always be a household name. Invests wisely and don't forget the best of the best altcoins are yet to be developed, the current ones I consider them to be just test dummies, preparing the way for future altcoins.

What's your take on this, do you think the industry can survive without altcoins that's just bitcoin been the only currency in the space.
The industry will not survive without altcoins, because they push it forward, if there will be only one bitcoin, then the development will stop.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee Believes Dogecoin “Will Go To The Moon” on: September 27, 2019, 02:47:21 PM
Well!!

We all are aware that Elon Musk has publicly stated that Dogecoin is one of his favorite cryptocurrencies. At present Dogecoin found a new fan,
John McAfee, the most popular public figures in the crypto industry. John has agreed that Dogecoin is cryptocurrency gearing up for a big price rally.

What's your take on this, will dogecoin price surge up?
I doubt it because John McAfee can't be trusted. It has long been known that he is paid money for advertising and he does not care what to advertise.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hack any wallet? on: September 27, 2019, 11:35:25 AM
So there are 12 words chosen from thousands to recover any wallet.

If you iterate through random word combinations you will eventually generate a wallet that exists, correct?

I know the number of combinations is astronomical. But in theory if you keep generating random phrases, you might eventually stumble upon a wallet holding millions?

In theory, Yes, but it could take a lifetime. Even if you're lucky and you steal that money, I think this man will find a way to get it back if it's a huge amount.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Anyone suggest me a Good ICO or an IEO? on: September 27, 2019, 11:17:28 AM
In this past few days, I have been looking and wanting to join any good IEO or an ICO project, But I need to invest with a promising project that maybe profitable in the future.

Any suggestions are accepted, Thank you!
No one will tell you that. You have to study everything yourself and only then, thanks to your knowledge and experience, you will be able to find a great project for investment.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are the scam projects killing entire crypto space? on: September 27, 2019, 11:07:44 AM
From my point of view, scam projects have taken away the glory of genuine projects.
Due to too many scams around crypto space, investors are not confident on investing in new projects. It's Becoming very difficult day by day to find out the legitimacy of the projects.
This in turn affecting the projects and result of this is not raising the funds as expected and required for further development of projects. This is daviating projects from their roadmap which is resulting in too much delay or even failure.
Missing interest in investors is somehow obstacle to growth and further research of dApps projects.
I think, rugulations will solve the topic to great extent, but is there any other way to stop the scamming and not just going away from it?
Please apply your thoughts.
I think there is nothing you can do about fraud, it has always been there in all areas. The only thing you can do is learn to recognize it.
