21  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Transaction stuck... on: December 20, 2017, 05:14:02 PM
ok I'm lost. the transaction just vanished from my electrum, the "good" news (if I trust the program) is I got back my coins as if I didn't send anything yesterday (?!)

still listed as unconfirmed on blockchain
https://blockchain.info/tx/863ee04ecf4dbe39f961846d3e27bb9a7cc68d4d80238bb1b7fb6447815caf5b

wtf is going on?

The TX is still on the blockchain and waiting to be confirmed....
Could it be your Electrum is out of sync?
22  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Transaction stuck for +24hrs despite a decent fee on: December 20, 2017, 04:34:48 PM
I sent a support and ticket and it was answered pretty fast. They said they didn't expect the fees to rise so fast in such a short time and recommended I should wait for the transaction to clear. It's also impossible not to receive my btc, right?

The fee is 345/B so i think it should confirm eventually.

If i was you i would wait it out.... might take a few days though
24  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Wallet.dat could be corrupted by -zapwallettxes? on: December 20, 2017, 01:48:32 PM
Ok so put the file back into the BCC folder (back it up first)
Now open Bitcoin ABC again and use -zapwallettxes again

That should do the trick to get your BCC working again
25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Wallet.dat could be corrupted by -zapwallettxes? on: December 20, 2017, 01:41:04 PM
Do you have your private key of your BTC and your BCC addresses?
26  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Corrupted old wallet help!! on: December 20, 2017, 01:03:29 PM
Thanks for your help but I don't understand nothing of these commands and don't know even how to rule python

I'm not a computer engineer nor a programmer :S

Well you will quickly have to learn because as far as i know trying to recover the private key with pywallet is the only option you have so far :-)
27  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: [free] help with your stuck transaction on: December 20, 2017, 12:42:39 PM
Hi, my transaction has an unconfirmed input, can please someone tell me what to do? thank you in advance!

You need to give more info... Transaction TX? Your BTC address?

Did you install python?

I said that on previous post. I've installed python 2.7.

Ok do these steps:

Download the egg files:

(32bit). http://pypi.python.org/pypi/setuptools#downloads to install setuptools
(64bit). http://pypi.python.org/pypi/setuptools#windows to download, then run ez_setup.py

 4. Go to C:\Python27\Scripts
 5. Run easy_install.exe zope.interface-3.6.4-py2.7-win-amd64.egg

30  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Stuck transaction & issues getting BTC out of Multibit Classic on: December 20, 2017, 12:18:40 PM
I think the best you can do is download Electrum and import your wallet using private key (you can export it in Multibit).
Do NOT just sweep the private key though.

EDIT after that you will have far more control

Thanks, am considering doing this but should I wait until my stuck transaction becomes unstuck before importing the wallet? Or will this not make any difference?

It will not make any difference... infact, you can get it unstuck if you use Electrum

Look here:

https://blockchain.info/address/1DCVZer3a9h2oWCHj778e9zWatseehD69g

This is (according to you) yuor BTC address.

The incoming transaction has to low fees, only 24.67 sat/B
The outgoing transaction has enough fee but can never get confirmed if the incoming does not get confirmed

You will need one of the bitcoin core specialists here to try to resolve this
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Binance withdrawal LTC too low fees on: December 20, 2017, 02:46:36 AM
EDIT: Resolved

Follow up:

With Exodus you can not do anything... you might be able to recover with Bitcoin core but only if the transaction drops from the mempool if i am correct.

At 2017-12-19 10:15:45 you received 5.2299 BTC but a few minutes later, at 2017-12-19 10:34:50 it was send out again.
Both transactions gave not yet been confirmed however.

What is your receiving BTC address? Is it 1DCVZer3a9h2oWCHj778e9zWatseehD69g ?
38  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Received BTC from ??? on: December 20, 2017, 12:22:31 AM
Seems like a one time transaction addy....
Would be very hard to see who it belongs to.

I guess Santa came early this year :-)
39  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoin wallet, cant remember the password on: December 20, 2017, 12:20:42 AM
Did you try Hanqtr%7abcz3$3%9&bnxklAqripBvz5^ahwtGhqrweU/n (/n is the "space")

Did you copy it from notepad or notepad++?

No i did not try that, I can't try it now, will try in few hours. Let's see, maybe it could work. I dont remember which one i used, i have always used notepad++ too but at that moment I just can't remember.

I don't know how BTC core handles if you copy a regex with it and if it's even possible.
You can read the regex codes here: http://docs.notepad-plus-plus.org/index.php/Regular_Expressions

copy paste your password to notepad and notepad++ and see if there is a space at the end in both
