Is the best bid still that low? Mpex is down...

I'm curious - how long are you expected to keep this bond going...a few months? Years?
Were/are the proceeds converted to fiat or are they staying in BTC-denominated assets?
Thanks!

Sorry to revive a old thread, but I gonna ask...
How many of those Something Awful posters are patting themselves on the back for not buying BTC when it was $5?

Card has been sold to Gabbynot with a very smooth transaction. Please close thread mods.
Yep, easy transaction. Thank you!

It's just a psychological thing, that's all. "Tranche" doesn't have the negative connotation that "insiders dumping shares" has.
I don't blame the large investor(s) at all for selling at a tidy profit, even if the outlook is bright. It'd be very hard not to lock in some gains.

Yeah, these are certainly not "tranches"...these are simply shares being dumped by the larger investors. But the term "tranche" makes the process sound a bit more positive.

Is there any way to do some sort of reset/rescan? I have a few transactions that have been stuck at "seen by 1 peer. Not seen in chain" status for awhile. Also, my BTC balance shown is 4x higher than it should be for whatever reason.
I'm using the Mac 0.4.19 version.
Thanks!
Hi Gabbynot, Yes there is a rescan option in the menu option "Tool | Reset blockchain and transaction" The help for it is here: https://multibit.org/help_resetBlockchain.htmlIf I use it I normally take it back to the transaction previous to the one that was causing trouble. Wow, I didn't see that. That fixed the problem easily. Thanks for answering an incredibly stupid question.

Holding shares forever is not absurd. It is my retirement plan.
Pretty sure the SEC (or some other regulatory agency) will be looking at unregistered securities like S.DICE long before "forever" is here.

Highest bid on Bitparking is only 0.00006111 BTC per TRC. But I'll beat that - buying 10,000 TRC for .7 BTC.

Ordered a few of his cards, they came in the mail just 3 days later.
Extremely trustworthy trader! I'll probably be buying more in the future.

Damn, this is starting to add up.

Depends how much you're looking for...you should be able to buy ~25,000 or so LTC without moving the price all that much.

A demonstration will come by a customer very soon, if you wish to wait until then, go ahead; but you then run into the risk of not making into batch #2 That one line just screams "scam".

So how much is the book value of this thing under par by now?
It should be up even if he did nothing except convert initial funds to fiat; LTC was around 7.5 cents/coin when the IPO was going on, now it's only around 6.4 cents/coin.

Whats the FRC to TRC rate at the minute?
Anyone want to exchange this for me?
Curious about this too...It'd be nice if the FRC/BTC CryptoCoin Exchange gets set up soon.
