1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Booming gaming platforms, is it just a moment? on: September 18, 2021, 11:41:28 AM
It is very natural that blockchain-based games have begun to be developed, considering the many benefits that are obtained by the audience, rather than just playing games as a hobby but producing nothing, this is not a momentary phenomenon for blockchain-based games, this is actually a demand for today's developments. this, if we talk about feasibility, maybe it goes back to the initial analysis for everyone in choosing a good and profitable long-term project.

I am not happy with what is happening in the market of gaming platforms. The complete lack of graphics that can be compared with the one that was in the games of the mid-90s of the last century. There is no such attraction in these games, which the Playstation provides us with) The whole point of these games is that you need to buy certain goods for fiat in order to get a bigger profit.
Gaming isn't about the graphics mate it's about how fun and addicting they can be just like how millions of people prefer Nintendo games over Xbox and playstation, crypto gaming is also still very new so not many are ready to build COD like graphic shooters and earn tokens in return, this will take time
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Now that most of RTX 3070 on sale are LHR, what Nvidia GPUS to buy? on: September 18, 2021, 08:23:47 AM
Just switch to AMD graphic cards instead because they are easier to find and you don't have to worry about any limiter on them, the only Nvidia GPUs that don't have LHR versions are 3090 and RTX20** series
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Gpu safe temp on: September 17, 2021, 11:19:02 AM
i have 3 old cards rx470 4g msi which run hotter than my other cards at 75-76 c , is it safe or not as i run them on low TDP with this temps
If you have MSI Armor, then that's okay, because they have a very poor cooling system.
I have several video cards operating at temperatures above 80 degrees, and in the summer the temperature was about 90 degrees.
Yes I have some invalid shares, but it doesn't bother me.
Install additional cooling, this will reduce a few degrees on each video card.
Which part of the world are you from? In summer none of my AMD or Nvidia GPUs goes over 60°C seeing yours at 90°C is surprising, I wouldn't be able to sleep at night if my GPUs temp are over 70°C this is not a safe temp for 24hrs operation
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Wich ASIC did you choose to mine NOW? on: September 17, 2021, 09:38:16 AM
Buy an ASIC and you will be stick with one algorithm forever, for example if it's scrypt ASIC you will have to mine only scrypt algorithm coins

Buy GPU and you are free from ASIC restrictions, GPUs works on many ASICS available, from Ethash to kawpow, autolykos2, cryptonight and many more

Truth is there are few Ethash coins left and if ETH goes dead today your ASIC won't be profitable because no other Ethash coin is very profitable like kawpow or autolykos2 (ergo)
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holding 5 years a just a imagination on: September 17, 2021, 07:49:55 AM
Do some research on top altcoins value 5 years back and use that to judge what their values are today? Saying holding is a imagination is wrong, even those who buy coins in 2020 pandemic period ( A year ago ) are glad they did because they did so well, the truth is you have no problem if you hold the right coins and tokens
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What makes NFT Platforms good for you? on: September 16, 2021, 05:25:36 PM
Lack of real use cases affected so many projects in the past until NFT became a thing, even normal DeFI projects are now implementing NFT in their platforms, to me NFT is something that just works with zero doubts, it's something that wasn't here years back and today it's like a gem, I earned more from NFT projects than others this year so far and the good part is gaming and earning at the same time, this is way better than most old use cases around.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Modified GPU BIOS for Mining on: September 15, 2021, 03:09:39 PM
Are there any BIOS out there yet for 5700/5600 XTs?
Lot of thems...

Could you point me towards them?
I don't think you really need BIOs to make GPUs like 5700 and 5700XT to perform well in mining field, I suggest you download hiveOS and use preset settings available in the OC tab on the last right side of your GPUs, you can get best hashrate and low power without Bios modding
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: I'm jsut starting, please help. on: September 15, 2021, 06:39:13 AM
You can still mine with gtx970 in 2021 though it's a old card but still works on NBminer mining ravencoin, this will bring you 50+ $ every month, expect 14-15MH kawpow hashrate from this card, use this calculator

9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you guys think on: September 15, 2021, 06:35:15 AM
In my opinion.
#1. Every time is good to build a crypto portfolio, there is no way to predict the market when to make a better shot to invest in crypto. But if bitcoin was made in a double amount in dollar value compared to last year, it will have the potential to double again the price in the future. Look around, bitcoin adoption was quickly spreading and for sure this has an effect on the price since it is a fixed amount in total in the market cap. So investing in the long term has a guarantee to make you a profit if you want to start your portfolio now and a friendly reminder, be careful with altcoins investment, it is better on bitcoin because it feels safe.

#2. No one knows if there is a bear market, so far there is no bear market. But as I said above, no one knows.
Adoption was going on and I think more and more countries that crypto becomes legal tender, so it is impossible to have a bear market again. As I said, look around.

Now that crypto is gaining more investors day by day and crypto adoption is increasing massively I don't think that the next bear market will be crazily low like 2018/2019, what do you think?
If you believe and are willing to take a risk, just invest it of what you can afford, and welcome to the crypto world.
I think it's a bad idea to build crypto portfolio when there is good pump in the market, a friend of mine is already at loss here and all I can tell him is to have patience, he bought BTC at 65000$, ETH at 4000+ too, I did warn him to always buy when there is dip but he thought BTC is going 100k as many predicted, now he may have to hold for long term
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Best OS for Vega build on: September 14, 2021, 02:53:11 PM
All mining OS are almost the same, they have same settings and tweaking the oy different here is their looks (interface) yea interface can make things more complicated and it takes time to get used to them, I personally like hiveOS more and one time that I try to see how MMPOS works I ran back to hiveOS, raveOS has the most ugly Interface though
11  Economy / Economics / Re: Ways to avoid being scammed!!! on: September 11, 2021, 08:14:44 PM

Scammers become very skilled in technology as users becoming also knowledgeable in technology. While phishing isn't working anymore some scammers are already creating their own tokens redistributing them again in BSC network mirroring the old coins for you to log in using your private keys. Always be cautious about what comes around because you might think they are real.

It's very easy to build tokens and there ain't much difference how ERC20 tokens are build compare to BSC, this have been around for years so it's nothing new, to invest in new altcoins one need to pick them from reliable sources like binance exchange, kucoin or new platforms like polkastarter and Dao Maker
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Sorting for GPUs on: September 11, 2021, 02:18:24 PM
Is buying GPU at MSRP an unsolved mystery right now? I mean are there still ways that one can fish for GPUs at MSRP? I can't seem to find any GPU value that's close to MSRP, my question is how are you buying your GPUs for affordable price?
In theory, you can buy a graphics card at MSRP. But in reality you will have to compete with thousands if there are new promotions. And there are several dozen video cards at such prices. The store does not just give money to customers. He builds a customer base and invites other customers to buy more expensive models.
Used video cards are also expensive now, and if you are offered a price below market, it could be a hoax.
I think you are right, yesterday I spent hours online to find good deals I do find some used rx580 and when I want to pay for the cards I got out of stock message, I tried others too unfortunately they are all sold out I guess I'm out of luck for now

14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is ethereum taking the crown from Bitcoin as ehtereum reaches $4000 on: September 10, 2021, 02:22:09 PM
Ethereum can't take the crown from bitcoin because its clear that BTC has better value than ETH  and also BTC has lower max supply too, for ETH to reach 47k seem impossible at this point in time, also why comparing BTC with ETH because they really aren't the same thing
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Just tell me if this is a bad idea on: September 09, 2021, 11:07:15 AM
Im looking forward to build my own house 🏘️ soon but an idea came up in my mind today, here is what I think

In my country 20,000$ is enough to build a very good looking home so my thought is since I'm not in a rush to build the house very quickly why can't I just use that money to build mining rigs instead? Then forward the money every three months to build the house slowly ? Like I said I'm not in a rush can take me two to three years to build I don't mind

The reason why this comes to mind is I think having something left after building a home makes sense than just throwing that cash for a home direct, what do you think ?
On this bullrun better focus on crypto side, mining is safer option, but at this very moment to expensive for built mining right, i'm sure if yout right price, roi 4months should be doable, and after you got money back, only left profit continue + got new house
I like this idea than building a house and no money is coming in from somewhere 🤷🏽‍♂️ since OP is a pro in mining field it will be possible to build a house and still get your mining rigs running, meaning after successfully building your house you will still keep making money none stop.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Need Some Help - ERGO MINING - AMD GPU help on: September 09, 2021, 07:07:25 AM
i think my vegas are samsung
You can get 170MH on Vega for ergo mining, I recommend using HiveOS like others said cos there are presets settings available for you to use for any algorithm on your cards, if you don't know how to set up hiveOS to usb stick pls search on YouTube, there are many tutorial video on there

Use the amdmemtweak for your Vega in hiveOS, it's what I used and it works for me either Ergo or ETH
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFTs and how it works on: September 08, 2021, 02:40:20 PM
I understand gaming NFT projects more than art NFT and gaming NFT are easier to sell on exchange it's not same story with art NFT, I'm confused how few art NFTs are been sold for millions of dollars I wish someone can explain how possible this is? If I have to advice anyone to invest in NFT it will be in gaming NFT projects not art NFT
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ventilation - Is this going to work? on: September 08, 2021, 09:39:41 AM
I prefer natural air flow than air conditioner for cooling a mining farm, you need to buy big exhausting fan if you are running multiple rigs, make more space for good airflow and use exhaust fan to get rid of heat, works better than A/C for me
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Give reasons why ETH is better than BSC on: September 07, 2021, 02:43:11 PM
because the binance chain is highly centralized whereas Ethereum is not, and I think it's because of the decentralization of Ethereum that makes it difficult for developers to find a permanent solution to the problem of high transaction fees so switching to BSC, I always said Ethereum (ETH) would worth much more than its current value but due to the high cost many projects moved to the binance chain
I'm not a blockchain expert but I would like to know if BSC has the same security features like ETH chain? Cos it seems like BSC projects are getting hacked easier that's why I asked this question cos I'm not so sure that all ETH features is available in BSC chain or am I wrong?
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: nicehash mining with LHR cards, on: September 07, 2021, 06:06:03 AM
Nicehash have updated their NBminer to 39. Version which unlocked 70% of LHR cards, you will be fine mining on Nicehash mate just keep everything at auto, there are other algorithms that aren't affected by LHR for example ergo and Conflux but it depends on which LHR cards you have, ravencoin is more profitable on my 3070ti and ETH on 3060 LHR
