2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Open Source Bitcoin faucet system on: July 09, 2014, 04:19:06 PM
There are already a lot of open source ones and none have performed well in the market, because a product cant grow, unless it is developed in house. Still, if u r looking for one, try this.

Nice one Smiley, I've seen few, just thought if anyone would like something different and with extra features, but if you think it's generally a waste of time then ok.

Best Regards!
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Open Source Bitcoin faucet system on: July 09, 2014, 03:00:18 PM
Hi,

I was wondering are there any open source bitcoin faucets, and if someone can give me some links?

I want to contribute to this community, by making open source bitcoin faucet in PHP, I've seen a few but I don't like them a lot because they are complicated to setup for average users, but before starting I want to see if someone is currently making this, and what features would you like to see.

I was planning to add these options:

1. Multiple wallets options (BlockChain, CoinBase and some others)
2. Multiple captcha options ( ReCaptcha, SolveMedia, and some other captchas).
3. Admin panel for viewing stats, adjusting payment options, user managment, etc.
4. Easy install script, like some systems have.
5. More options suggest here.

Best Regards!

looks exactly like bitbin.it.

You aren't by chance the same guy?

It's done on bootstrap it looks similar because of that. I've added other options hoping to improve it more in the future, if you have any suggestions.

No I'm not the same guy Cheesy.

Best Regards!

Hi,

I've updated the site. Now you have world map with info about hits. How many hits came from which country. I will add more stats in the future.
If someone has some suggestions post them here.

I don't think so, most of those systems are made out of scratch. You can check hotscripts.com, maybe they have something that you can modify. In my opinion it's best to make it from scratch because you will make things you need.

12  Other / Beginners & Help / Recommend a miner hardware for beginner on: April 24, 2014, 02:24:46 PM
Hi all,

I don't know a lot about miners but I decided not to go with GPU, I've heard about ASIC miners and company butterfly labs but they are too expensive for my budget, are there any other companies that make ASIC miners with similar hash rate but lower price (something normal)?

Best Regards!

I think it's value won't go over $1000 for a few years.

how many views, on average, are needed to get payout?  Smiley  10, 100, 1000?

also do views add up? say you have 3 pastes with views 12000, 1431 and 3011, would the sum of them be used, or every paste individually?

It depends on the ad income every day. No fradulent hits are counted. Yes hits sum up, total balance of btc address (all unpaid hits) and withdrawn.

hmm i will try but how to make it real easy works ? and must always check website or not ?
 Cheesy

You don't need to check the website constantly, all stats are added to the database, and withdrawal happens automatically.

I would like to hear some opinions on how could I improve the site or the whole system.

Best Regards!

How long It takes to make that 0.0025 BTC with this site? thanks.

It really depends of your pastes, and how many hits they get.

Best Regards!

Not to be rude, but isn't this just a poorly made ripoff of bitbin.it?

Thanks for your reply. I think competition is not bad, sites are similar that's true, but I haven't found any other alternative to bitbin, so I decided to develop one, also I hope to introduce new features, and payments are not calculated the same.

Best Regards!

Payout happens every day when you reach 0.0025 BTC aprox. $1.

19  Bitcoin / Project Development / Paste4BTC Earn free bitcoins by pasting, pastebin alternative that pays! on: April 22, 2014, 12:38:25 PM
Hi all,

I'm a Web and Desktop developer. I'm new with bitcoins but I think they will be web currency of the future.

I had an idea to develop a pastebin alternative that gives you bitcoins by sharing source code, logs, or any other text (that's legal). For every hit you get on your pastes you will get a certain amount of btc. I know that developers use pastebin a lot for sharing their code with friends, so why not monetize all hits you get on your pastes. Site is still new and there are not a lot of pastes currently.

Site is called Paste4BTC http://paste4btc.com.

You can find more information about payments and content that's allowed on FAQ page of the site.

Site is online and working, but I will upgrade it in the future with new features, of course I would like to hear your opinions, because this is a big community.

UPDATE (2014-05-05): Added a world map with info about hits on your pastes.

All opinions are welcome!

Here are some images:
Front page of the site:

Syntax highlighted paste (using SyntaxHiglighter.js):

My pastes page (stats about your hits, and total earnings)

Thanks for reading my post!
Best Regards!
