my seednode is running fine addnode=212.24.106.51
heres a copy of my 1337 folder https://www.dropbox.com/s/sogtb8thkcu42xe/1337-10.15.16.zip?dl=0

mirror https://mega.nz/#!i5NDGKRY!_DulTG1utd97ZMaTjwQVQTfWwt8pg93kvmS9IWwQdIE

thanks velvet did the trick  Cool

...

the only thing comes to mind is syncing unlocked,
even if you don't see stakes (orphaned later) that may easily fork,
especially if you have a bunch of heavyweight blocks.
1337 should always be synced locked

yea learnt my lesson on that a few years ago. Syncing with an empty wallet.dat replace and rescan after sync  Wink
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] 1337 [MANDATORY UPDATE] 334.25% APR| FORK ON THE 25TH OF AUGUST on: October 15, 2016, 01:22:22 PM
yea we have a fork, found myself on it last night Sad

attempted resync but stops at block 532177, just about to start my 4th attempt

linux or win ?

linux, been cycling through the nodes using connect in the config to try and sync from one place first attempt (just letting it connect to whomever) put me back on the fork

i can only guess smth is really wrong with this coin and linux
'coz i never saw even a shade of fork passing by my win wallet.
i didn't open mine for several days since i don't have any 1337,
now started for check, it's synced with no prob, 28 peers and counting,
these are v1.5.0.4 nodes on default port:

addnode=5.189.136.83:13373
addnode=72.241.235.204:13373
addnode=85.25.200.157:13373
addnode=195.200.244.73:13373
addnode=212.24.106.51:13373

awesome cheers bud, the first nodes the one I'm currently syncing with I'll add the others though. Fingers crossed this'll do the trick

I've been using the linux wallet for a few months without issue the only thing I've changed recently is moved my balance to a new wallet and increased the split threshold, so much larger blocks than previous wallet file. I'll lower it again once synced.

Hi all
Dont send ya coins to c-cex they go missing.

They're a bit behind. Sent a test amount about half an hour ago, and they're about 400 blocks behind atm.

it doesn't look like behind but pretty much like forked, look at their POS diff...
why do you still mess with c-cex people

... The hashrate has been fluctuating a LOT. Thus block rates fluctuate while waiting on retarget. This isn't an issue of reliability of any kind and as a coinholder/supporter one would think there would be suggestions made to improve something not that the project is doomed and has some horrendous flaw that doesn't exist...

Have you paid attentiong AT ALL to the hashrate?
EDIT: If the ENTIRE community wants another softfork to even slower times that's fine we will comply however when hashrate plateaus don't blame us if the times are MUCH SLOWER than normal.

@EVERYONE THE POOL WILL BE GOING DOWN SOON TEMPORARILY AS WE ARE UPGRADING SERVER EQUIPMENT TO OUR NEW ONES. Services should be back online within 2 hours after outage.

doubt its needed really but 32 blocks in 11 minutes is pretty excessive, how many blocks should we expect in 11 minutes?
how about looking at the difficulty retarget instead if that's the issue?
if the hashrate plateaus as you say wouldn't blocks still be created by pos?

thanks for the warning re the pool  Cool

CryptoID block explorer has been updated to v2.4 and appears to show connected nodes correctly.

PLS UPDATE TO V2.4 BEFORE BLOCK 200,000
V2.3 AND OLDER W/ PROTOCOL <90001 WILL BE LOCKED OUT FROM THE NETWORK
IF YOU RUNNING OLDER SOFTWARE PLEASE UPDATE ASAP

poswallet still using v2.3.0.0-61402 i'll send them a mail

Dev, if you are still working on the coin, it would be great if you show up here. People are worried.
still waiting for devs appearance here as the coin being dumped in every exchange i hope he can give some light about it.

try checking back a few pages maybe? he was here a few days ago:

WoW...  Where is the Dev?

Starting to look real shaky around here. I hope all is well and the Dev is simply working hard to ninja surprise us with some amazing developments.

I'm here, haven't gone anywhere!

I'm still working here, you're right on track  Smiley

if people be dumping people be dumping doubt the dev can shed any more light on the situation than that.

hi guys, pos working pretty well and with the low difficulty im hitting a few blocks a day on an dated i5!!  Cool

Any chance we could get setstakesplitthreshold implemented in a future update? that's if its not already planned in
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] 1337 [MANDATORY UPDATE] 334.25% APR| FORK ON THE 25TH OF AUGUST on: September 27, 2016, 10:06:08 PM
...

i would like to make it clear that its not my intention to force anyone to swap. i also cant guarantee any success after the swap but as things are now i simply cant do much because there is no liquidity in the market. so there will most likely be 2 coins instead of 1 and people will only be able to swap 1337 for the new coin and the old coins will get burned in that process. i have no ETA atm but i'll post my suggestion for the specs of the swap after i gathered more info.

we also need a new name, logo, ann etc etc but those things will come after we came to an agreement as a community. lets give the poll till the end of the week?

Can I see a logo competition in the works?  Cool obviously need to be done after a name change. Why do you want to change the name? I'll try and think of some regardless, would you be putting suggestions to a poll?

Did you build secp256k1 manually?

We will try to build and see if we get the same error

Fresh OS installation (Linux Mint 18 X64 Mate desktop) yesterday so no version of secp256k1 has been built for the system. Literally compiled a few wallets got to Mojocoin been stuck since, the only wallet compiled that also has an secp256k1 folder in the source is Syndicate and that compiled without issue with the standard:
chmod 775 src/leveldb/build_detect_platform
chmod +x src/leveldb/build_detect_platform
qmake
make

This project is dead? wallet not's work... right?

Wallets ok just having a nightmare getting it built personally

Will you let me know if the above works?

gave same error!
Code:
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lsecp256k1
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
Makefile:984: recipe for target 'mojocoin2.3.0.1' failed
make: *** [mojocoin2.3.0.1] Error 1

This is everything I've done:
Code:
git clone https://github.com/MojocoinV2/mojocoin
edited Makefile, added -lgmp to libs  //without this libgmp isnt found (thanks again dsutil)
cd mojocoin
chmod 775 src/leveldb/build_detect_platform
chmod +x src/leveldb/build_detect_platform
cd src/leveldb/
make libleveldb.a libmemenv.a  //without this leveldb.a &  libmemenv.a don't compile giving compilation error
cd ../secp256k1/
chmod +x ./autogen.sh
./autogen.sh
./configure --enable-module-recovery
make
commented out mojocoin.pro#L213
cd ../..
qmake
make

Morning guys,

yesterday i did a fresh install of mint on my staking box built wallets for 1337, Espers, Syndicate & OKCash without issues, still failing to compile mojocoin though current error I'm getting:

Code:
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lsecp256k1
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
Makefile:984: recipe for target 'mojocoin2.3.0.1' failed
make: *** [mojocoin2.3.0.1] Error 1

Syndicate also has secp256k1 in the src folder and built without any issues, any advice?

Would you be willing to put the Coin Swap idea to a vote, let the community decide?

sure, i can use all the feedback i can get. its not something thats going to happen anytime soon though (the swap), still need to work out some details. ive added a poll to this thread Smiley

Thanks - looks like it might be a close decision!  3:4 atm.

One of the things I like about this coin is having a dev who positively engages with the community.  Smiley

I honestly think having a working shop that allows people to use 1337 to buy games is the more important issue right now (but then I may be slightly biased   Wink).  I know you said you're working on it, hope that side of things is progressing.

sorry I just made it a tie  Grin

Cryptohobo You can check the library gmp with this:

Code:
ld -lgmp -verbose

Mine says:

Code:
falló el intento de abrir //lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libgmp.so
falló el intento de abrir //lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libgmp.a
tuvo éxito el intento de abrir //usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libgmp.so

libc.so.6 needed by //usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libgmp.so
found libc.so.6 at //lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6

Also I'll post the diff for the lgmp error....

i got this:
Code:

confused by the last line but then I'm a self taught amateur.

day off tomorrow so i'll be checking through that thread and sorting my system out then

dont waste the space youre typing on. ive been telling this ccex guy that the problem is on his end ever since july but he still wants me to 'fix' my coin and keeps stating that its broken or blockchain is broken... and now he claims i refused to fix something thats not broken... lol

i wonder where he found a copy of the blockchain to give it another try on ccex, he didnt get it from me. some exchange that is, anyone can upload stuff for them to fix their wallet. security must be TOP NOTCH over there...

this whole mess started when ccex 'accidentally' staked their users coins and after i contacted him about this he asked what the problem was... LOL.

but anyways, since ccex seems incapable of fixing their problem i would like to suggest to them to find more competent people to work for them. looks like a one-man-show over there btw so yeah that makes it even more sad. or maybe try contacting yobit and cryptopia? its seems they were kind enough to fix my broken coin for me... or else it wouldnt be working on those exchanges, right ccex?  Roll Eyes

...
...
im working on something to resurrect 1337 again. its not a very popular 'method' and its something that has been abused by some other devs in the past but i see it as a last option. yes, im talking about the dreaded coinswap.

people will get to choose whether to stay on the current wallet or swap them with the new coin. 1337 that gets swapped will first be collected in a designated deposit address and after that it will be sent to our burn address. ive been thinking of a swap ratio of 100:1

i will also make sure that everything is as transparent as possible but also anonymous. i dont need to know who owns how many coins etc so it will either take place on an exchange, or in case i have to do it manually i will setup something temporary where we can communicate. maybe a slack?

sounds like a plan  Cool
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [MOJO] Mojocoin - Hybrid X11 minable / PoS | MasterNodes, stealth, mixing on: September 14, 2016, 07:53:09 AM

thanks hagie, i don't mind being connectable as its needed really if everyone has closed ports connections are a bastard. which is what we're seeing

Well this depends - running a controller wallet on a windows machine you don't really want any software to open ports in your router and build bridges to a windows host.
If you want to run a full / masternode use linux and configure your ports by hand - my two mojtoshis :-)

what about this:

correct me if I'm being dense but I've noticed in the debug.log the 2 lines:

2016-09-14 07:10:05 UPnP: ExternalIPAddress = *.*.*.*
2016-09-14 07:10:05 AddLocal( *.*.*.*:22255,3)

are using the same ip address shouldn't the local address be the local address on my network of the system rather than the external ip?

external and local should be different IF upnp is working correctly. As told prior I never used or enabled upnp in any case  ... I even disabled it on my router.

thats a good two mojtoshis  Cheesy

still failing to build the linux client, got past the libgmp error thanks to dsutil its now listed in the makefille, but now getting an error for secp256k1 also loooks like its to do with gmp.

Code:

shame cause i leave my linux box running 24/7 and usually compile wallets without issue.
