Approaching no, i don't think being a gambler. Because, only occasionally went gambling. Also, i think gambling is so stressful that i have trouble concentrating.
To be an expert you need to focus in gambling and that means you have to go full time because any distraction could lead to a bad decision making. We always think we are good but we have to always learn from our mistakes, to be successful is not achieve overnight, it's a process that we should take and be patient enough and must have the discipline to control our emotion to effectively impose our game plan. Why you need to be an expect in gambling. Most of the gambling investor whales loose their money only. In Las vegas casino or Thai casino everywhere you will be loose your money without any gaining your money invested on the gambling. We need to invest the right platform which can give a decent income. If chooses like gambling you will face failure. |

Do I need a lot of GPU for trading like mining? And mining and trading is different right. So How will I learn buying a PC? because I only got my laptop here no desktop. Which is the easiest way to earn? Mine or trade?
It is really different. Mining and trading are not same. But both of them are risky because you need to start big capital in order to do trading and mining. I prefer to you just try to trade. Trading is preferable to people who is unable to invest big fund because if you wish to buy ASIC miner it will definitely cost more than 1200$ and then you need to skilled to be get the profit. Mining and trading are do not have any comparison because investment plays all the time in trading but mining is only initial investment and can gain everytime. |

From what I have seen for the past 4 years, trading in Bitcoin (and the altcoins) is just like gambling. A select few may profit out of it, but the vast majority are going to lose their investment capital. I have stayed out of trading ever since I joined this forum. And I am doing just fine.  It is not like gambling don't mention gambling because gambling is a sin in many religions so i would like to say that trading in bitcoin is depended on luck that when bitcoin goes pump when goes down but in right ways it always goes up. Oops you are taking it as too serious. There are many people in the world involves in gambling and many wrong activities. Some people compare it with gambling due they are facing bump and dump in the same time and facing lose right. That is the case. If you are skilled trader you will utilize both the time for your favour. |

At the current time I wont do anything, just keep them for the future, because the crypto markets are confused and buying altcoins or joining an ICO may be risky, ethereum itself is good investment.
All what we want there must be its risk, but it's good if you use 1-2 ETH for long-term trade or investment. because it can generate profits for you, and the rest you can bear. 10 ETH current price now will be equivalent to $2700. I think it's not too big money right ? if I had 10 eth of course I would first use it to grow and invest so I would get more etherum later on and of course I will also put a few percent like 1-3 eth in the wallet just in case if there is a feared thing to happen because all have risks This is not big fund buddy, you will not be able to buy a car or land also so you can turns that altcoin to bitcoin by exchange it simply. Since bitcoin has the enormous bump value that amount eqvilent to btc. Alternatively you can start trading also with that amount. |

Interesting post on "new ideas". I'm also keen to see this forum generate newer ideas, or introducing better innovation. There are plenty of gems still to be found, but they tend to get easily lost under the pile of carbon copies. The "everything" idea is not practical, nor wise, in my opinion. There are still so many alts that don't even have a market outside of decentralised exchanges or P2P.
You only have to look at those exchanges that specialise in exotic alts to see that their models end up at nett loss when wallets fail and blockchains lose their nodes. You simply cannot sustain "everything". The hit you take to customer confidence is a risk not worth taking. Have you seen the rant posts of X exchange stealing 1000s of "XYZ coin"?
Thats why we want someone to jump in and start it. If you gonna start the project and need of web maintenance team. In that case I would like to join hands with you build bitcoin related career along with you. It is pretty impressive idea from you buddy. Please consider if I can help you. |

I'm new to bitcoin mining. The Antminer S9 seems to be a good box. But is it worth paying a high price on eBay or just wait for their next shipment batch in november for lower price?? Will they ship enough units for the demand?
In ebay you can close your eyes and can buy the miner from there. eBay reserve a rights to send the ordered product to their customer. I knew you will be able to get the miner there but the cost would more than you find the direct bitmain. Since bitmain is not active to transfer their products now. You can go with the eBay reseller without any issue. |

As everyone had said in the previous reply, you should consider the risk carefully. Whether the benefit outweigh the risk. if it doesn't, then it is like your just asking for trouble.
Since op said that he is working in military camp so I think you will not be able to take a risk to start mining. If you near to any computer market. Then you buy around 3 to 4 graphics card and start GPU mining. Altcoin mining is profitable with the graphics cards. |

I really like the sports gambling game. Because I love football and I am always happy to predict every game that will be played. For me this is a pleasure because I can think and analyze what will happen. If I win then I will be happy and if I lose then I will keep trying. But keep in mind make gambling an entertainment and never make gambling a way to earn money.

Well, I created this thread to discuss about bitcoin mixing world.
Bitmixer closed their service and suggested every current mixer to close their services too. But as we see, they not only close but almost every day there are new mixers on market.
Bitmixer was biggest and trusted, they closed their service, we can call that big profit machine. No one will destroy ultimate profit machine without reasons, especially smart guy. So why do these people open mixers almost every day? What's their point? Do they believe that they are smarter than bitmixer? If yes, then when they were before bitmixer's close?
I'm defenately not disagreeing with you, however, bitmixer has stated they closed their mixer because they stopped believing every bitcoin user has the right to privacy ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2042470.0). They might have had an alterior motive (they might have been forced to close shop, they might have been blackmailed,...), but they didn't give any extra motivation. It's not because they had a change of heart, everybody should have a change of heart. Personally, i'm a strong believer in privacy, and as long as mixing coins is not considered illegal in my country, i'll keep on stating that there is nothing wrong with using a mixer. I'll also stand behind any honest and reliable organisation that opens a mixing service. Often heard about it but never use it, i dunno what the use of mixing my coin tho, it not like im criminal who need money laundry  but if someone out there want to open a mixing coin site thats mean he want profit you don't need to be a criminal to mix your coins, your BTC doesn't have to originate from criminal deeds for you to want to hide how much BTC you own. For example: you might have been doxxed in the past, so everybody and their mother know who you are, where you live, where your kids go to school and which address you usually use to receive payments. Wouldn't it be normal you wanted to break any link between your public payment address and your private address? If you didn't break the link between those two addresses, everybody would know exactly how much BTC you were holding, which would give them a great incentive to break into your house at night and take your family hostage untill you gave up your BTC... Wanting privacy != illegal. For normal people being anonymous doesn't matter like you and me but the whales are expecting highly secured privacy to take in every transaction and tracking details of them. Actually bitcoin mixer are widely used by whales only not by the low amount investors. For example you are having 0.05 btc means you don't need to split and send it. This is how it works. |

I think one of its main factors why bitcoins price skyrockets is mainly because of the news about bitcoin or any update about bitcoin; and of course the supply and demand of the coin.

It's good to know that lots of Asian countries are recognizing bitcoin, it's not only going to make the lives of lots of Asian people better but also it's a good sign for the consistent growth of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. It's to be noted that people of the Philippines are very hardworking and honest and I'm sure they are going to take bitcoin to next level in terms of adoption, acceptance and popularity.
These adoptions will erode the Chinese ban of bitcoin. I noticed from last 7 days bitcoin there is many adoption has been added with the bitcoin. That's a good news, with more countries and brand stores accepting bitcoin as payment. One such has happened in South Africa at present. Previously one of the largest retailer of Russia started accepting bitcoin. Hope the same will continue providing more circulation of bitcoin and make it more popular.
That is also again great information bro. Retailer should accept bitcoin. Few years before no one was know about Paypal in my city but some retailers start accept it then it is been popular to till laymen. These kind of moves will take bitcoin to moon very soon. |

Pick n Pay, which operates in a number of African countries as well as South Africa, piloted a payment system in partnership with startups Electrum and Luno. That initiative was limited to a staff cafeteria, CEO Richard van Rensburg told BusinessDay in an interview, and is no longer active.

@ don't accelerate the transaction because it has confirmed already. I don't think it get confirmed after you have accelerate it. Please check the tx id before you accelerate it. As of now I use accelerate the transaction with the viabtc accelerator site without any fees. Antpool may be consumes the high fees to get confirm it faster. |

thats a good question, are the cross transaction coins ever collected
by the exchanges? is it possible for them to collect them?
Luckily I have never sent coins to a different blockchain but I am sure
it happens a lot.

I don't think it is possible to collect the cross transactions, You can send the any transaction with default network pool to do not face any issue in transaction and it will get confirm with in some hours. If you are using desktop wallet also don't change the fees to low let it ny default. |
