I do not know why people are still comparing gold and Bitcoin like it's never dying. Physical and Digital currencies are both different.
If you are saying that Gold is INFINITE then it's rarity will be decreased and it will not be considered as one of "rare earth metals" because of "INFINITE SUPPLY" of Gold. I think Gold will not retain it's value if it will not be rare and some poster here already said that NASA will not just go there to get that Gold it will also cost of millions for that another project.
People comparing bitcoin with the gold due to the value and long term surviving in the world. So how we all expect bitcoin to survive in the world for the long time. In Feburary we find the bitcoin value compare with the one ounce of gold. Now 2 ounce of gold is compare with the 1 bitcoin. Value movement million time faster than gold. |

There are not many projects out there with real value. But I think Waves is one of them. Will hodl my bag for at least one year.
Current price range is good entry point for mid / long term hodl in my opinion.
We can say like that dude. We see that waves value and market place supply gives the steady growth in the price chart. Then you can speculate their rate so cheap in future. You may notice the bitconnect value when it started but now it is one of the competitive investment for the many peoples. Well crossing $7000 mark sure would be hard but not impossible.Bitcoin can never go past some amount, always has been in the mind of the people but bitcoins has always surprised people with sudden growth so you can't predict that bitcoin's end price would be below $7000.Just keep holding and by next year who knows wjat would be the price then.
It does not touch that since the peak value is lesser than that. There are many people expects the 7k USD value in this year end itself. But practically it is not at all possible since there very few adoption expectation in the upcoming months. Long term holding will always gives the doors for the seeing the profit in the amount you have in your wallet. |

I just checked poloniex today and btcprice went don't to $5506.28 so that would be -$500 dive. Is this because of the upcoming fork? Can somebody enlighten me what could be causing this?
Of course BTC has boom and busts periods. It's part of the financial industry and BTC maybe worth nothing someday or worth tens of thousands. Don't care about price in the short term, only know BTC is the wealth storage of the future. It is not a part financial industry. Bitcoin has the price fluctuation tendency so we will not be expect the bitcoin price always moving forward. There are certain time in the bitcoin fluctuations actually. If you cross over those times you no need to worry about the bitcoin price. You can easily able to manage in the bitcoin price dump as well. Try to be long term holder to stop loosing your funds. |

The bigger worry than breathing the air is the fire risk involved when running miners in your house. That is way more likely to kill you than breathing the air. Dust/dirt build up, loose connections, overloaded components, excessive heat, placing miners too close to flammable materials, all far greater concerns than the air quality. The air quality issue (if there even is one) can be alleviated to a great extent by simply cracking a window or two to vent in fresh air, but the fire hazards are a lot harder to mitigate.
Still we all using the electrical and electronic products in your anf my house. Since the hazardous release is from the material it contains the electrical wastages you will find the impure gases from that. You may avoid the heating issue by having your AC cooling in your home. Other than the coolness factor do you really need to run more than 13 GPU's off of the same motherboard? I know there is economics of scale, but these motherboards cost more as well, offsetting the savings gained. Plus you need extra PSUs, more memory and a bigger SSD. So adding all this up the cost savings really isn't a lot more than say 2 smaller rigs.
Also, a point that has been argued before, if the rig experiences issues, then you have 19, 21, or however many GPUs you manage to get running down at once versus with smaller rigs you would have maybe 8 GPUs down while the others would remain running. While these videos are nice to watch for the geek factor, it seems to be pointless after a certain limit.
6 rigs are suggestable to use in the mining rig right! One rig can give 6 card pci riser I think. How it is possible that we can run a 12 GPU cards in the one processors with the windows os. Since it has the riser limit of one PCI slot with the 6 cables are only gives 6 cards options. Please explain me clearly. |

Altcoin market is so unstable lately and this making it so hard to make predictions but there is this fact no matter what waves will hit the jackpot one day or another. You should definitely consider buying waves. Also ark is a promising coin that can see great numbers in long term.

As you said, most signature managers do not accept posts in Local Boards and they will not count to the qualified posts when it comes to the minimum posts. Most probably might be the reason that there is low demand of viewing this thread means the advertising or that the advertising is based in English which the people in Local Boards do not care about it.
This tells me, we should get companies to offer Signature campaigns within specific geo locations. Some Chinese or Asian companies might need to target a specific geo location with their advertisements and they will get the best exposure if these signature campaigns can target specific markets. Go to Bitcoin merchants and tell them about this opportunity and see what pops out.. You never know.  If you anything like you can share it. People from the concern country will be able to get the help because of the sharing right. I see most of the campaign manager expects the people to write properly english. If you are able to construct the english properly You will be able to get into the campaign accepted easily. The only way to get accepted to any signature campaign that you applied to is to post quality contents in this forum. Always bear in mind that managers check your post history before accepting you so it would be best if every post you made is in top quality and has content to back it up. Also, always protect your trust rating. Don't get involved in things that might be bad for your profile and might provide you a negative rating in the long run. There are other ways to be accepted but I think these are the most important ones. But I see some of the campaign managers takes the people inside the campaign without checking the quality of the member and adding as they applied in first. So it is simply like first come first serve for the people in the campaign. Some trusted campaigns like manage by the edwarded, yahoo and all search and filter the people who want to participate in the campaign they are managing it. |

In my opinion by investing all savings in cryptocurrency no good idea, I think maximum 80% of all savings and other 20% keep on fiat. Because we need to keep Fiat for urgent needed, and when this happen and the price of cryptocurrency down then we should be withdraw it. So that we are in loss. In my research good coin for longterm investment is BTC, ETH,WAVES and DASH by portofolio 50% BTC and other 50% for those altcoin.
I think you should divide it into three parts, the first part is for your investment this is the half of your saving or 50%,but make sure pick the best cryptocurrency to invest second is for your saving make it 30%, and for the third for your emergency need and make it 20% Go for the multiple coins would be good for the altcoins investment but if see with the comparison with bitcoin and altcoins you need thing that which coin is best in the market and value would increase future all that time. In such cases, bitcoin is every time best investment option so you can invest all your money only in bitcoin itself. |
