1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much damaged bitcoin has brought you? on: July 24, 2018, 08:51:22 AM
Overall i have profited, but if i am talking about not able to sell from the ath in dec/jan 2018, i have so far lost like 60% of my portfolio since the ath.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's gonna happen if Bitcoin gets ETF approval??? All about bitcoin ETF on: July 24, 2018, 08:50:04 AM
What is more update is that even the eth is also having its own etf and we also do see more and more funds are getting into the shorting or longing of btc. These are great funds and systems for fresh funds to get into crypto without a lot of knowledge about crypto.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN is FUTURE !!! on: July 24, 2018, 08:48:48 AM
Bitcoin has started in 2008, it's community is growing and developing its system. It will become viral, governments will just accept it and banks will start crypto adoption or make their own crypto. This is just an evolution money market, the only sector where there are no competitors but central banks yet.

and now almost everyone knows about bitcoin. even the local news has mentioned about bitcoin quite frequently in their programs.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When you think of currency what will come to your mind? on: July 24, 2018, 08:47:33 AM
With 2 years experience working with bitcoin, whenever anyone tell me anything about currency, I only think about Bitcoin and its bebefits

I am more interested to know about what experience do you have with bitcoin? i am looking to do some services to gain some extra crypto but i do not know how.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in business industry on: July 24, 2018, 08:46:37 AM
It is not unlikely because as we all know when you are using bitcoin it only takes a few seconds before you transfer some other money, which is how effective bitcoin is. Yes, it is especially imaginable but it will have a considerable amount of effort and cash.

We do see a lot of people accepting bitcoin and so on. Although bitcoin may not be the best coin, but it is definitely one of the largest distributed coin.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The day will surely come Banks soon accept Bitcoin on: July 24, 2018, 08:45:56 AM
We can actually see that some banks are already thinking of introducing their own tokens. It is just a matter of time.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When you think of currency what will come to your mind? on: July 24, 2018, 08:19:30 AM
At the end of the day, currency is still mainly referring to cold hard cash that most of our society are using. Even talking about going digital, i still face a lot of shop owners are not used to it.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How have you impact people with cryptocurrency knowledge on: July 24, 2018, 08:17:41 AM
i have managed to get my friends to try out crypto. some of them i help to buy tokens while others who are not willing to spend any money can join bounties.
9  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin plays a vital role in the economy on: June 04, 2018, 03:55:08 AM
Definitely bitcoin has been a vital role in the crypto economy as we can see that if the price of the bitcoin went down, the whole crypto market will be affected by it. similarly, when it goes up, a lot of the coins will also increase.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is ICO? on: June 04, 2018, 03:52:39 AM
Is ICO an technology or really what is ICO?

ICO is initial coin offering.

It is similar to IPO whereby stock went to official exchanges to sell their share. Instead, ICO sold their utility/security tokens instead of the company rights. The process of ICO is also shorter than IPO which include many funding rounds and years of preparation.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if someone bought up all the existing bitcoins? on: June 04, 2018, 03:50:31 AM
Buying up all the existing coin is not possible cause this is based on a supply and demand market. If someone want to buy up the market, the subsequent prices that he has to buy will increase and this will lead to a exponential growth of the tokens to a point, he cant buy it anymore.
12  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it too late? (To buy Bitcoin now) on: June 04, 2018, 03:49:05 AM
It is never too late to buy bitcoin. A lot of crypto influencers predict that bitcoin will be at $50k, $100k or even more. Whereas it is not the same for eth because of competitor like eos. So it is never too late to buy bitcoin.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin have more risks than benefits? on: June 01, 2018, 05:45:50 PM
Who said? if I think that bitcoin has many benefits from the risks. because with the bitcoin of the world economy it can be more advanced and bitcoin also helps the economy of the poor as well

at this point of time, because the price is moving too fast, it may not be a good tool for the poor as it may even make the poor poorer, of course in the long run, it would a good tools for them but not now.
14  Economy / Economics / Re: Factors that affects the value of bitcoin... on: June 01, 2018, 05:38:29 PM
Hey guys,  i need some suggestions and opinions about this.

I think the main factors that really affects the value of bitcoin is the speculations trying to destruct the images of bitcoin making some people to get panic.

right now the price movement of the bitcoin is still moving quite significantly. That is a lot of people coming into bitcoin with the purpose of making money and not believe in the technology.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government and Bitcoin on: June 01, 2018, 05:27:24 PM
will, governments are afraid that banks will lose their customers,so people can invest in bitcoin without paying taxes the banking system is compromised.

this is very common. the government need to monitor the use and expenses of their national currency so that they can impose taxes on multi level. with bitcoin so decentralised, it would be hard for the government to monitor and control.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your ideal transaction fee for Bitcoin transactions? on: June 01, 2018, 05:25:35 PM
The ideal transaction fee for bitcoin transaction will be a fiat fee of $1 or 0.05%, which ever is smaller. So it really encourage large and small volume of trading.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are still buying Bitcoin? on: June 01, 2018, 05:24:00 PM
Somehow everyone buying bitcoin now seem to assume it would moon in the month of June. So they believe it's a worthy investment now

well it has been the pattern like that for the last year whereby it moon like crazy for almost all the coins. i still remember neo is about $1 and then it become $7 and even go to as high as $60.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin have more risks than benefits? on: June 01, 2018, 02:32:57 AM

What is your opinion?

In my opinion its partially true, but it depends on what kind of investor you are. If youre a short term type then probably you’ll get pissed of whats currently happening in the market now but if youre a long term type it will not affect you. All investments are risky but it only depends on how the individuals manage risks.

yup, for example just a few months ago, people can buy bitcoin at $20,000 and now the price is so low as compare to then. however, there is a lot of prediction that bitcoin will rise to above $50,000 and so at the end of the year. So as long you hold, you are able to enjoy the benefit.
19  Economy / Speculation / Re: What does the future of bitcoin look like?? on: June 01, 2018, 02:25:18 AM
i do foresee a few aspect of the bitcoin will be improved.
- the transaction per second is able to achieve mastercard/visa standard and maybe even more.
- low cost fee
- accessible everywhere.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WARREN BUFFET says Bitcoin won't end well on: June 01, 2018, 02:23:59 AM
Cryptocurrencies are not stable currency. Their values goes up & down. So we cannot make investment in bitcoin according to anyone's words.

at the end of the day, investment in bitcoin or not, the solid advice of investment is always about
- investing in what you can loss.
- have an idea on your stop loss even before you buy
- understanding why you buy this so that you will be more resistant to the price movement.
