Check the sender and the date on this shipping label against the shipping information posted already regarding the big batch. Names and dates match. I've already posted the pic people asked for too, of the unit.

Good. Let's different. Not to be unfounded, one of my miners 3500Gh 2 hours worth 0.0074. He is based in London. Of course, I put the server London (This is understandable without your comments there) and turn it on at 18.00 London time and 20.00 disconnect. We'll see.

The pool efficiency is under 92%. Perhaps a good portion of that error rate is people renting rigs with the inefficiency they have? I am 99.9x efficiency, while pool is 91.85 currently. I tried renting my hash through I think it was westhash with my antminer s3 and none of them worked, I tried it again, no payout, I think they have issues because of the old cgi software bitmain installed.

I have to agree its not a huge change but my efficiency with my own equipment was 99.98% after the rig rentals it dropped to 99.88%

That is your average since the last block was found. As time goes on keep an eye if it continues to slide lower. If a block is found and the pool stats reset it should give you a much clearer picture.

Those hashing rental places sometimes have certain miners that don't perform as well as others. Make sure you are getting what you pay for.

This is a great point, and let's further consider WestHash/NiceHash specifically. Since the order is comprised of so many miners, there are countless internet connections and other variables that come into play, and all those different miners from around the globe must connect to a single stratum server. Factor in that orders are not often constant as miners are re-allocated to other orders. Finally factor in that, for example, a 30 Th/s rental can be comprised of 85-90 miners. Add in rental fees and so on, and there's quite a bit to consider before renting for profit.

I can confirm that at least one of the winners on that list sent me pictures of their new S3 from s0br the day they got it.  I am the one that told my friend about the pool, and aside from being a bit jealous, it is legit...it is hashing now.

It does however seem that the contest has ended, and it isn't in fact, every day this month (unless he's about to announce the second half of the month now).  If so...I hope I win, if not...mining here has consistently been paying out...but I may do another comparison later today to see what pool is worth pointing at.

Proof or it didn't happen. As others have said previously - words mean nothing here.

OK, here's the deal:

@ s0br: Nobody else, no more sock puppets - this is to the postman himself:

Stop hiding behind your fake "support team" and prove me wrong. Show everyone here that you have shipped the miners you say you have - tracking numbers, delivery confirmations, label pictures or whatever - but it's got to be solid, undeniable proof - not the sad excuse of a pic that your abusive support member ThePhwner posted here. That's not so hard is it? If you mistakenly burned all the documentation, contact your "winners" & tell them to post it - I'm sure they'll want to help you out, seeing as you've been so generous to them.

Do whatever you have to do, but if you don't, I guarantee you I'll open an official scam accusation against you & your sock puppet crew on this & other forums exposing your BS lies & you can kiss your scamming pool bye-bye.

For the record: I'm not anti any pool. But I am anti scammer, anti theft, anti bullshit & anti fraud. Too many miners are getting stitched up - period. If you prove me wrong - I will retract all my accusations & apologize unreservedly - the ball is in your court. Do the right thing, or get royally screwed the way you're screwing the users here.

Up to you.

LOL. I am the blue sock. With the googly eyes.

I don't understand what you have against this pool, it seems to work for me. The IRC support is on all the time and fix any issue.
Sure, there are issues, but I still get more BTC than I got using eligius and the interface has a better design.

I have nothing against it, you are lucky or you are at a fraction! I had no luck and I'm leaving, it's very simple and banal.
And you have so well and Activity 0 What else to add?  Grin
Thank you.

It's been openly stated that the pool is a work in progress, and the owner has made good on all backpay in a timely manner. If you feel you are missing earnings feel free to contact me directly, stop by our IRC channel, or open a ticket using support@bitcoinaffiliatenetwork.com.

You are certainly entitled to your opinion but please be aware there are resources in place to resolve your issues.

In principle, I agree with you my friend, but I've tried and 2Th, then 5Th, then 15Th. But then, when it did not pay off, I left one miner 600Gh and he worked 8 days without a break and constantly received various payments.
But even in this case. I played the lottery and did not blame this.
Just 10 days ago, I lost almost all the money and your Projects was a small chance. But the longer I rent and work with you, the more I become a must.
Just with my rented miners are not profitable, that's all.
Good luck to you! Grin

Did you, at any point, contact support to have your account examined and possibly compensated?

To be honest, I've lost a lot more than before, and now fight for these penny absolutely no sense.
Again, your lottery for me was the chance to rise from his knees. But apparently not destiny.
Thank you. Grin

Just wanted to confirm.

Seems kind of lame to blast the pool for not performing to your standards without giving anyone a chance to make it right. You're trying to be a respected, established member of this community, and your approach doesn't allow any room for anyone to make any mistakes or have a chance to fix them.

And I will again point out this is a complaint involving rented hardware. I will not deny our pool has some challenges but I also cannot overlook the role rentals play in potentially under-reporting hash rates.

Sorry the pool didn't meet your expectations, however, you didn't use all the resources at your disposal to resolve your issues.

888  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners (Scrypt ASIC seller) independent feedback thread on: August 28, 2014, 12:02:13 PM
My instantly activated Hashlet still has not arrived 2 days later. I got a successful payment conf. for an LTC payment. I've waited 2 days for instant activation.

I think the thing that's the most offensive is no response to my support ticket, no word from Gaw customer service. Failure to deliver product? Check. False advertising re: instant activation? Check. Keeping customer funds without delivery? Check.

And others I know are currently in this situation. A little communication could go a long way... but...

If anyone else is in the same boat, GAW Miners is listed with the BBB of Connecticut.

You can use the EVGA 1300W to do 3 OCed no problem. And EVGA sends jumpers with their PSUs Wink

Just checked STILL getting slightly low payments. Really hope s0br can do something about making it right. All I did recently was switch from west1 to east1 last night bec west1 went awol.

s0br has informed us that he's fixed the issues with share reporting but it may be tomorrow before the fix is in place for the backpay. Rest assured, staff is aware of the issues and a fix is in place. Thanks for your patience Smiley

dashboard down again.... 500 error.

This appears to be resolved. Please let me know if there's still a problem.

if the price is right i might be interested in some S1's as well if you want to PM me details...
If the price is right I may be willing to sell some of my S1's I have all 9 of them undervolted to run at 140GHs at @ 170 watts. If wanted I can reset them back to factory settings of 180 GHs @ 365 watts. Also can set up with your pool/ miner information if needed. PM me if interested.

I had a hard time cleaning one that was pencil moded. I tried a couple different types of wipes, compressed air, erasers, etc. Finally got it but it was pita. Is there a trick to it?

For the really tough stuff, isopropyl alcohol, but not the kind you get at the pharmacy, the super-pure stuff sold for cleaning motherboards and what not. 99.99somethingsomethingsomething % so there's no water in it. I think 91% is the most you can get for medical use.

Something like this:

didn't even go to pool # 3 . of course swapped & tested.

oh sorry that's suppose to be help & your quote again :

Work with us or shut the fuck up. = Customer Service for large company for how many years ? hmmmmm keep up the good work.

so better shut up cos i can be quite certain many ain't gonna work with someone like you.

My friend, use a reputable pool that has proper tech support. Any pool that talks to it's users like that won't last long. It's disgusting to be talked to like that.

That was a private message sent supposedly as a friend, based on our existing friendship which he's brought up multiple times. While I admit this was unprofessional, this was also a piece of personal correspondence in response to some personal attacks made by ysl.

Again, I apologize. I've been working on support issues for this pool for 18 hours per day for the last 2 days and I too am tired. I want this to work as well as anyone else. I think you and all others will find that when I am approached with a technical issue I am willing to listen and resolve to the best of my ability.

also yslyung mining.bitcoinaffilliatenetwork.com was never a pool stratum server, so that being in your config is your error.

Missing hash? Low pay?

Look at your miner.

You told us TWICE that was one of your failover pools.

You should offer him one of your invisible S3's as compensation........ Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

As long as I get to configure it so all 3 pools are actual mining pools...

Sorry the pool isn't your personal BTC faucet. And I'm sure you'll post this on the forums like the whiny little child you are, so please post all of it.

You're a whiner, and a rage-filled idiot. Accept help or shut the fuck up.

Astounding. Truly amazing tech support. That'll bring no end of miners running to your pool........ Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

I apologize.

yslyung and I have a prior relationship and he is picking and choosing from it in my new role with BAN to expand his platform to vent. I have been ascribed dual role of his friend and BAN admin, and apparently I can wear both hats successfully...

There have been close to 72 hours of attempts to help this user which have been met with him ignoring technical advice and abusing the support staff. This was not professional.

So is your miner still configured to point to the BAN website and not a pool? That might affect payouts... maybe.

FWIW, the quote yslyung aka captminer posted from IRC was a Clash song, because he keeps showing up and saying he's leaving. Not sure what all that was supposed to mean, just thought some Clash humor would lighten things up...

Or not...

ysl, once again we have publicly offered to help you via IRC, email, Skype - myself, MinerFTW, s0br, and even users who aren't part of BAN support team. Not sure what you want. But if it's just ranting... we heard it.
900  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: mining.BitcoinAffiliatenetwork.com - we're giving away 1 Antminer S3 every day! on: August 25, 2014, 05:23:36 PM
I like to check out new pools every now & then, just to see if I'd be better off with a different one. I have a list of checks I like to go through with each one first, just to see if it matches or betters the pool I'm currently using. it goes something along the lines of:

1) Does the pool have a history of consistently not paying?.....................check
2) Does the pool claim to pay out more than it earns?..............................check
3) Does the pool have large quantities of posts from noobs all praising the pool?.............check
4) Does the "dev" frequently disappear leaving unanswered questions from users?...........check
5)...blah, blah.....etc, etc.

I'll stop there, but you get my drift. I just like to be sure before I point my hard earned hash at just any old pool. As much as I would like a chance of winning a "free" invisible S3 & chat with the many fake user account holders about how wonderful it is here while waiting for payments - I've decided to pass and use a different pool. I'm not quite sure why - I just got a funny feeling things ain't quite right here........plus the fact that my checklist was 100% fail.

I wish you luck. Think you're all gonna need it somehow  Wink
It's far from wonderful for various reasons but missed payments aside the pool hasnt cost me any lost income or anything yet. All missed payments have been made up for and s0br went as far as giving me BTC I missed out on with a server diff thing without asking for any sort of proof and my account is farrrr from fake so take my words however you like. I'm by no means a fanboy but the pool is new, imagine Bitminter, or BTCGuild in their early stages. I'm sure they had issues of their own that had people saying some of the same things about them in the beginning. Grant it maybe not as frequently but still.

Ok, so I have ~5.2 Th pointed at the pool and payouts seem ok, using Coinbase reports to do daily totals etc.

Anyway, stats seem to only be showing 4.4 - 4.6 on all the stat areas including the "pool" area where it shows me ranked 34 in terms of hash with 4.4 Th when I have ~5.2 Th.

Hey, can you tell me which server(s) you're using and how the workers are configured for your miners? IE, does each miner have a worker?
Each miner has a worker and servers are 3333 / 3334 depending on the systems hash. The stats come and go so it seems to all be there and just a display issue with how s0br has constantly updating stats instead of say running updates every 5 to 10 minute

Which servers specifically? And all your gear or anything rented?
LMAO <-- red text.

All my own equipment.

stratum+tcp://west1.bitcoindigger.com:3334

stratum+tcp://west1.bitcoindigger.com:3333

Thx. And no harm intended by that rental question - you would not believe how many support tickets / complaints are from NiceHash and MRR rentals. Any chance you'd give west2 a shot, at least for the 3333 miners? With west1 being one of the 4 low-diff servers, it might be seeing more traffic.
