704  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CANDYSTRIPES IS A SCAMMER on: November 01, 2014, 07:32:11 PM
I believe Candystripes in all this...I've done several loans with him and it's been a smooth transaction every time.
He was lending .03 to a junior member.

Most lenders will not lend anything to a junior member period (most will ask for much smaller loans).

I guess most people can make their own conclusions about this

I gave him 0.03 because he typed and acted like an adult from the start. I am smart enough to know who to loan to, and who not to. He also showed proof of BTC coming in 3 days, etc.

Just because he has proof that money is going his way does not mean that he will give it to you once he receives it.

Also if you are lending based on his ability to speak english then you are likely violating fair lending laws as people who have a national origin other then the US tend to not be able to speak english very well. In other words you are discriminating against people because of their national origin.

Be honest, who is more likely to scam. The 40-year old American, English speaking adult. Or the 15-year old sounding bad-english speaker?
705  Economy / Services / Re: first time on CEX.io , need some help plz on: November 01, 2014, 07:20:39 PM

Help your poor friend from Algeria.
Without reading the entire thread i assume that you want a loan? So try to ask in the loan section.

He wants a start-up voucher, and in exchange he will do work for you.

You can get these easy. Make a .edu email at that californiacolleges site, then fake a picture using Photoshop.
707  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Crowd-Funded or Privately-Funded? on: November 01, 2014, 05:40:24 PM

All of that is bullshit, I am not worried about that Bitcoin-Police fake scam accuser guy, orthe other hated dude that also makes false accusations. I don't spam anything in the services section, and the one by Giftcoins is because I bugged him about his scamming casino.

There, I am still trusted Smiley

710  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CANDYSTRIPES IS A SCAMMER on: November 01, 2014, 03:51:36 PM
Alright this makes it more interesting. Pierre11 sent me this in a PM this morning:

"Wait aminute, I thought you were selling me this account cause it had defaulted (which it did), to get back ur loan. I said I was pierre11 for simplicity and to avoid being tagged - I would repay on his behalf. i thought the actual pierre had already lost his acc as it was used for collateral and didn t repay after many days. I can still return the account thou Huh
i wouldn't post anything publicly yet until we agree what is happening now. or things might get worse for us.
what can happen: i return the account and you return the .095bc i paid, then you do whatever/ or i keep the account and you say you sold it cause he defaulted, you re allowed to do that to get back the loan."

Turns out the guy faked being Pierre and paid back the loan to get the account. That isn't my fault at all, I thought he was the real Pierre.

Pierre11Bis, what I want you to do is repay your loan in full. You owed 0.08 originally, but you are 8 days late. I will not charge 80% (10% each day), but I will charge when you would have paid back, so 30%. 0.08 + 30% = ..104

As you can see, he is willing to return the account if I pay him 0.095. To resolve this, send .104 to: 1CandyPE2zp8TQ55BA9gUP4qgVHzzPdDQ7

After you have done so, post here and you will have your account back promptly.
711  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Crowd-Funded or Privately-Funded? on: November 01, 2014, 03:45:52 PM
There's always a risk you'll run with the coins. You need to be well known in the community and build trust before you ask for money.

You really just said that to my face, lol? I am not worried about myself.....

I am well known and trusted.
712  Economy / Services / Re: MoneyPot Signature Campaign - [Latecomer Promo!] Earn BTC For Posting! on: November 01, 2014, 04:06:16 AM

on the tx i see payout to 12 addresses, but 17 are signed up

2 more have been paid out, so 14 paid out. Other 3 didn't meed minimum requirements.
713  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Crowd-Funded or Privately-Funded? on: November 01, 2014, 02:26:14 AM
Well, I assume that asking for investments for a website without proving your concept first isn't really going to give you much since I guess not that many people will be willing to take that risk. Maybe you should start by funding the website yourself at first for a small period. Besides that, each type of investment has it's own advantages.

For a crowd funded bankroll you'd probably have to deal with the funds of hundreds of investors and probably handle bigger amounts. But on the other hand a bigger bankroll would allow bigger bet limits and therefore attract bigger bettors.

Privately funded websites give you better flexibility when handling funds, but finding a small group of people willing to put large investments on a newly created website could be hard.

I want more feedback on who would invest and how much. I can explain the idea to them. I want the bankroll in well before launch (obviously) and I can't fund a whole bankroll myself without having tiny limits.

I am interested in doing it privately, but I want to know what everyone thinks before I do so, and I want to know if anybody would be interested in investing.

715  Economy / Service Discussion / Crowd-Funded or Privately-Funded? on: November 01, 2014, 02:00:57 AM
My new gambling site is coming real soon, hopefully within two weeks. Not it isn't dice or poker or anything that has already been made. It's a new and unique idea.

I want to know what you, as players prefer. Do you want the house to be crowd-funded, which means anyone can deposit and invest and be the house. Or privately funded, which means I take in investments from few people that are big 40-50+ BTC.

What do you prefer and why? We are looking for feedback from the community.

The campaign is now CLOSED.
717  Economy / Lending / Re: Loan requests by scammers have been reduced! on: October 31, 2014, 11:41:21 PM
You don't spot scammers, you spot everyone. Scammers are included in everyone. Around 20% of what you say is true. The rest is bullshit.

I can't wait until you get d0xed and swatted until you learn your lessons.
718  Economy / Lending / Re: Loan requests by scammers have been reduced! on: October 31, 2014, 11:40:12 PM

You seem to be activating in some shady activities: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=834069.0

I will be keeping a very close eye on you! You can't fool Bitcoin-Police Cool

lmao.

I am not even related to the site. It is just a partnership. My upcoming site and his site, lol
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=831020.0

Seriously, it is not a very good job to scream scam. 100% scam potential across all threads. Most are, we know. But, you are getting too overactive.

I can give credit to Vod or many others who actually think before they do it. You look rather like showing off. You need attention and your signature and personal text obviously proves it (ignore my personal text when you read this). Anyway, good luck with it.

Hahahahaha ignore the guy, he is such a joke.
719  Economy / Services / Re: Any jobs that dont involve spamming signature sections? on: October 31, 2014, 11:13:37 PM
Is it just me or are you all getting pretty tired of this signature campaign crap?

It's a win/win. Campaigns get good traffic for what they pay. Posters get good money for what they usually do everyday.

I think it's a great idea that still is wokring well.
720  Other / Meta / Re: Spammathon: Brought to you by Candystripes on: October 31, 2014, 10:34:43 PM
I honestly think most posts were relevant to the topic, they were not spam. And who are you to get into my business about my posts? I deleted them anyways, so this thread should be deleted also.

That is my opinion^

Most? If most were relevant then why did you delete them?

I am actually surprised the account was not banned (maybe the only reason for the lack of a ban is because you deleted the posts before the mods could look at/see how much spam you were making)

Admins can still see deleted posts.
IDK if you saw any of the posts or not, but if so, would you consider them to be spam-like posts? (I don't think that staff can see deleted posts). Do you have any insight as to why the account(s) were not banned, as I would think this situation would fit perfectly for an account to be banned. The account was wearing a commercial signature (although I don't think it was a pay per post signature, it was still a commercial signature). Was it because he deleted the posts on his own?

CandyStripes, the question is more what you are not already banned ?

I remember you you don't give me back my account.
You tell in this post you asked to the user who actually use "Pierre11" proove he had the btc adress what is used by the loan and since you don't give us the proove. So you area spammer...

Prove me you own the address and I will give you 1 BTC or get banned Smiley. Sign a message.
