261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Brilliant Way to Increase Bitcoin Market Value And Save Money on: November 02, 2014, 11:29:41 PM
I look forward to continuing the dialog on this concept... I'm sure there will be several cynics, which is healthy for fine tuning new entrepreneur ideals.
I commend the OP for thinking out of the box and taking steps to grow the technology.
Please continue........

263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PAYPAL FOUNDER PETER THIEL: “BITCOIN IS THE OPPOSITE OF PAYPAL” on: October 21, 2014, 11:29:43 PM
Why would anyone expect paypal to say positive things about bitcoin?... it's a threat
264  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Will the government be destroyed? on: October 17, 2014, 07:25:00 PM
Right, it would be a difficult task of including voters for policies vs business dominance... still has to be pursued.
265  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Ponzi - Ponzicoin ? on: October 16, 2014, 11:55:10 PM
I have to say it's encouraging to see the resolve within the bitcoin community... with all of the nay sayers... potential regulations, aggressive bears... price drops etc. you'd think there would be more hodlers buckling... However the opposite is happening.
The wise investors are very comfortable with what is lurking around the corner... there has been too many positive developments to fall into the chicken little trap.... the recent sellers will be kicking themselves a new asshole soon enough.
Anyone else think something big is about to happen... Winkle ETF coming soon?
266  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Post Bitcoin mining. on: October 16, 2014, 11:29:20 PM
Has anyone projected when the last coin will be snagged?
267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New York Looks to Slap Digital Currency With Death Sentence on: October 16, 2014, 03:46:12 AM
So much for their slogan... "New York Open For Business"

It should be... "New York Left Behind"
268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The how-do-we-make-it-illegal problem for the bankers on: October 15, 2014, 05:38:38 AM
The answer is to endorse & support countries that are pro crypto... Canada is taking the right approach, they are listening to the the positive message from the community... instead of stifling it with heavy handed regs they recognize the potential to grow their own economy.
The early adapters stand to gain the most with new upstart opportunities.
Eventually the rest will follow.. because we all have better choices... in the end people are going to pursue what's best for them not the over-regulated powers.

The Bitcoin start-up Coinbase is bolstering its team as it seeks to deepen its engagement with regulators.

270  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-10-12] JP Morgan’s Jamie Dimon: Bitcoin Will “Try to Eat Our Lunch” on: October 13, 2014, 02:47:15 AM
Just a correction.....

Bitcoin developers “are going to try and eat our lunch,” Jamie Dimon....

I don't think so.  We're going to take you Bitcoin boys to school.
By printing more vapor money... or paying off more congressmen?
271  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is stealing bitcoins illegal? on: October 12, 2014, 02:26:18 PM
You'll have to ask BFL
272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Andreas Antonopoulos kicked asses at the Canadian SENATE! on: October 09, 2014, 04:36:38 AM
That was a game changer... imo Canada will reap the early rewards of development and opportunity.
273  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Savior on: October 08, 2014, 11:14:58 PM
Not sure about needing a savior, however Franky is right... the process would move a lot faster if there was more participation in promoting the asset.
The Winks ETF would certainly jump start the growth...

Amazon?... not so sure about this... sure it would give more credence to the technology but I'm not sure a ton of people are going to run out and buy coins so they can turn around and spend it on Amazon.... Amazon is simply a "look we're big now" concept... they will certainly cash out as fast as they receive their btc.

What would really jolt the price would be an organized marketing campaign as an investment opportunity... when Franky says "YOU" can make a difference this could also mean each persons willingness to invest in the growth potential... Who is willing to help fund an advertising blitz?
274  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-10-08] Andreas A. featured panelist at Canada Senate Hearing on Bitcoin on: October 08, 2014, 01:22:20 PM
Hopefully he tones down his anti government sentiment... not the right platform.
275  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-10-01] CD: FinCEN Director: We’re Not Out to Villainize Bitcoin on: October 03, 2014, 02:40:21 AM
Can we first identify  "bad actors" in the Federal Reserve?
276  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can the consumer save money? on: October 03, 2014, 02:21:18 AM
The OP is on point... it's great that there are reasons for using btc... still the real issue is we're not reaching the mass with the message... or enough value to change their ways.
IMO the marketing side is seriously lacking... the average Joe believes it's a scam or see no reason to make the effort to buy in.
How many mainstream rags have any kind of ads... today we see more about the downside than positive reasons to endorse it... put yourself in the position of folks that are clueless about bitcoin... and I'm not talking about tech savvy individuals... there needs to be a joint effort by all members to invest in advertising ( invest in the future)... I'm thinking some type of incentive program where it's not all "pay to promote" but a program that will give back to the community on a random basis.. ie. drawings, lotto, reward for best idea etc... we don't all read forbes and bloomberg
277  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-9-29] Ars Technica - FTC: Butterfly Labs mined bitcoins on customer miners on: October 02, 2014, 02:02:23 AM
The BFL financials should be very interesting... my guess is huge amounts of btc has been transferred until the dust settles.
278  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you ready to "admit" Bitcoin is a Huge Success? on: October 01, 2014, 12:10:35 AM
For those just entering the BTC realm, beware of doom & gloomers... they are often motivated by spreading fud to reduce price for their next purchase... or they are extremely short sighted.
279  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-09-29] Coinfire: Butterfly Labs Josh Zerlan Deposition Hightlights on: September 30, 2014, 03:39:05 AM
They should be liquidated of assets with proceeds distributed to their mislead customers.
